we LOVE KayMaria. And better, yet, our cats love KayMaria, and she clearly loves them. It is a full-on kitty-spa vacation when KayMaria is in the house. She's also extremely responsible, kind, warm, clean, and cheerful. We love having her stay in our home and will always welcome her back. The kitties give a major thumbs up.
We loved our stay looking after Jenny & Steve’s lovely home and pets. The dogs were very loving and obedient. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for our first housesit. Thank you Jenny and Steve hopefully we see you again! :)
We had a great 3 weeks looking after Santi and Jonti. They’re both very well behaved and affectionate, and loved the hiking as much as we did. Heather and Nigel’s house is beautiful, in an amazing location. They’re a very interesting, welcoming and generous couple and we hope to be able to housesit for them again.
Rosie was a joy to take care of. She has a very sweet demeanor and loves to cuddle. Michaela’s home was very clean and comfortable to stay in. Overall, a great week in Ocean Beach.
Honestly, the most wonderful sit! Communication pre-sit was excellent – warm and friendly. Jane and Andrew met us with a comprehensive tour of the house and understanding of Poly’s needs and local area. We were treated to a delicious home-cooked meal and wine, and it was so easy to settle in and cosy up in Torwood Cottage (actually a large and beautiful Victorian country house). The Rhu/Helensburgh area is fascinating to explore while its surroundings offer up glens, lochs, munros, and forests. But for us, the star of the show was Poly. This very special golden girl is an utter delight to spend time with. She is gentle, sweet, super well-behaved and chilled out whether she is in a nature reserve, the cloisters of Glasgow University, a Cove café, on the West Highland Way or the Rhu Inn (our personal favourite). Poly got well and truly under our skin; she might not be the spring chicken she once was, but we found ways to explore that wouldn’t ask too much of her and she responded by embracing everywhere we took her with enthusiasm and charisma. She charmed everyone we met and always left a golden sprinkle of Poly stardust. Our time in Rhu flew past all too quickly. We had great communication with Jane throughout the sit (she even inspired us to finally take up the sourdough baking mantle! We'd resisted for years… ) and we would highly recommend this lovely couple and special dog for any future sits.
We had a beautiful stay at Karina and Eduardo's apartment in beautiful Floripa: a sweet, cozy, tidy home nestled on Lagoa da Conceição, with gorgeous landscapes around. We had a fabulous time with the entire bird-crew! Grudinho, Pituco, Kika and Luna are very friendly and were a pleasure to be with. They were highly entertaining and easy to care for. We fell in LOVE with Luna, who was needing some eye drops in the morning and extra rubs on her neck. Karina and Ricardo were both welcoming and well-organized, they had everything prepared for us, and were immediately responsive to our questions.
