Nikki and Bill were fabulous house sitters and pet sitters. They took excellent care of our two cats (one quite elderly). The followed all of our instructions and the cats were very happen and well-cared for when we returned home after an extensive trip. Nikki and Bill also took great care of our house. Bill mowed the lawn twice - in spite of terrible heat -- and Nikki tended our flowers, which look better now than when we left. They left the house spotless . They communicated with us frequently - but not excessively, sending us pictures of our cats enjoying life. They asked smart questions and were the perfect people to put our minds at ease when we were gone. If anyone has a chance to use their services, you should! They are great.
They left in a hurry, didn't notice part of the trim on the wall fell off the wall, left trash in the fridge, left random jars unscrewed ie jellies, coffee, etc. And moved plants into random spots; some plants struggled since they were already in spots to accommodate the light etc Mostly made me worry my pets and plants had been neglected. When we tried to talk about any of these problems they informed us they had never had complaints and we had "too high or standards" we will never be using this website again because this experience was not ideal at best. When we got home our cats had no food or water and the litterbox was dirty
Elissa was the perfect housesitter. We went away for a couple of weeks for our wedding and honeymoon and it was the first time we left our beloved Dino with someone who wasn't a close friend. She exceeded all our expectations. Elissa is lovely and friendly and took excellent care of Dino. She sent us daily photo updates to let us know that things were going well which was so appreciated. She left our home in perfect condition and it was a delight to come home to such a lovely home and happy kitty. We'd recommend Elissa without reservation and would love for her to sit for us again!
