Cat Sitters in Jamaica Plain, MA

Jill was an excellent caretaker and went above and beyond this past week. We have been remodeling part of our house (including the kitchen), and the project was behind schedule by nearly a month. Our house was not its usual self, and despite disclosing at the onset of application review, I never expected it to be in the stage that it was. We corresponded and spoke multiple times, leading up to her stay. Jill was extremely gracious, flexible, and pivoted well under these less-than-optimal circumstances, including our garage as temporary "kitchen." We had few other needs for this sit outside of pet care, watering plants, and retrieving any deliveries, so no outdoor garden duties. She took fantastic care of Roxy and the kitties and provided consistent updates. Roxy was able to enjoy some great walks and even a few field trips to Jill's nearby family :) She left us clean sheets and happy animals upon arrival back home. We hope that she will come back again when all is complete and enjoy our home in its usual - and soon newly upgraded! - state. Thank you so much, Jill!

If I could give ten stars for this family I would without reservation. I’ve never had a family with children sit for our cat and have always been nervous to do it. This family removed any fear. Their children are delightful and seemed very sweet and kind to Scout. Rebecca and Alex were very responsive and trustworthy. I got a daily update and Scout could not have seemed more happy. When we got home the entire house was cleaner than we left it. We absolutely recommend them and would be happy to have them pet sit anytime.

This was the second time that Christine and Phil have been our zeewoi. First time was last winter when it was white and cold and this time it was full summer. They are fantastic people with good communication and perfect caregivers for our cats. The experience could not be better. 

Charles gave a lot of extra love and attention to my dog beyond what I expected. It was such a relief to know our dog was being taken care of so well while we were out of town. I hope to work with Charles again.

James and Lydia were fantastic sitters! I was flustered after a cancellation and they were understanding and considerate in ensuring me that my worries were over. They worked to accommodate my schedule and I felt reassured having them keep an eye on everyone while I was out of town. Communication was excellent and they kept the house tidy. I'd happily welcome them back!

Caroline watched my cats/apartment/plants/garden for 2 weeks and my cats were obsessed with her. She sent me photos while I was away, let my cats outside during the day and brought them in at night, and left my apartment in excellent condition. She had great communication before, throughout, and after her stay which made me feel comfortable and at ease having her in my space while I was away. I would recommend Caroline to anyone looking to for a house sitter and I will definitely reach out to her again next time I go out of town!

Marie was friendly, considerate, and flexible. She really bonded well with my friendly cat!

I couldn’t have been happier with Lauren’s care of my pets and home. Her self confidence was apparent from the moment she arrived, which left me feeling that all would be taken care of to my satisfaction. My intuition was correct. She went above and beyond my expectations. Just the right amount of updates and pictures kept me knowing all was fine in my absence. She left a detailed note when we returned as well as a sweet card and gift which was greatly appreciated although not expected. I highly recommend Lauren!

Shirley and her husband Brian stayed with Luna for 10 days while we visited friends on the West Coast. Luna lived her best life with lots of walks and extra love with Brian at home too (Luna was Brian’s friendly shadow.) Shirley shared regular fun photo updates. Once again we came home to a happy dog and clean home, complete with some delicious food in the frig and sweet notes around the kitchen. This was our 4th sit with Shirley. We have loved getting to know Shirley and her wonderful family, and feel so lucky that her work brings her regularly to Boston. Thank you Shirley and Brian, we look forward to seeing you again!

I highly recommend recommend Lindsey for house sitting/pet-sitting!! She’s very kind, organized, very communicative, considerate & cares about the pets a lot. She communicated every day from right before before arrival until she went back home. I got an updates & pics so I knew how the girls were doing. I could tell she truly cared about Stella & Dee Dee. Dorcas and her extended intergenerational family (4 adults and two little ones) sat for my Cockapoo for three weeks. I couldn’t have been happier with the loving care they showered upon my dear one. I feel he thrived in the company of this wonderful family that gave him so much of the attention he craves. They were also excellent communicators before, during, and after their stay. I returned home to find a relaxed and happy dog and my large house immaculately clean and in perfect order. I would be thrilled to have them housesit again and recommend them to others without reservation. They are the best!
