Dorothy

We've had Dorothy sit for our two cats twice this summer (see previous review.) This second time, it was reassuring to know that we've left our house and family members (cats) in charge of someone who is caring, knowledgeable, respectful and responsible. When we returned, we could tell that Dorothy and her partner had taken good care with everything. The cats were well and playful. The house was as clean or more-so as we left it and she was careful to put things back where and as she found them. We work hard to make sure the house is left as clean for the housesitter as we would like to find in a similar situation. We appreciated not having to clean up when we got home as we have had to do with another housesitter.) There was no hesitation in accommodating our wish to be in-house for the first night (they joined us for dinner and we enjoyed their company), and also when their travel plans allowed. Dorothy was very responsive whenever we had a question or concern. We hope she will be able to sit for our cats and house again.

Rachel

Rachel was very conscientious about all aspects of looking after our dog and home. We hope to be able to have Rachel sit for us again.

Rachel & Toluwaleke

Rachel and Toluwaleke were incredible sitters and would love to host them again. They left the place incredibly clean, the dogs are still missing them & have been well played with, and they were exceptionally communicative.

This is the second time Kristin has taken care of our two spoiled cats. She does a wonderful job. She also is quick to respond and keeps the house clean

Heather

Heather is the best! She did a lot of research into Malta and Gozo before arriving and was able to quickly slip into the island vibe. The pets all fell in love with her and she spent time every day with each one of them. She went for long walks down to the sea and up to hilltop villages, giving Romeo a chance to go long distances and meet people. Heather kept us informed with photos and videos, and kept the house as tidy as if it were her own. Everything was clean and neat when we returned - it was as if we had a good friend as a house guest.

Monica

Monica did an amazing job of taking care of Oli and our home while we were traveling for 2+ weeks. She arrived a day early, which was really nice to get her accustom to Oli's needs and our home. She also provided regular updates on WhatsApp and we came home to a clean home, just the way we left it. We would feel fortunate to have Monica spoil Oli again with a future sit!

My dogs and cat were very happy to have Bert in our home, and I'm very grateful to him for making them so happy! Bert spent a lot of time with me in a video call prior to the sit; I appreciated the chance to learn more about him and his past pet sitting experiences, and I also appreciated his taking the time to fully understand the situation at my house before committing to the sit. His questions during our conversation showed me that he was thinking ahead and that he was serious about wanting to give the best possible care to my animals. A good friend of mine who lives in my town helped me greet Bert when he arrived; this friend told me that Bert asked a lot of good questions and was very friendly and polite. Throughout the sit, Bert kept in touch with me, sending me photos of my babies and asking me any questions that came up. He even cared enough to ask about the locations of my dogs' and cat's toys. Due to the unusual circumstances of my trip, I never got to meet Bert in person, but in the photos he sent, I always saw very happy dogs and a very pleased cat. Two of my dogs are quite shy, and the photos of them crowding in close for Bert's attention and cuddles really warmed my heart. Because my local friend was not available on Bert's last day at my house, Bert was kind enough to stick around and make the time to be at my house to welcome my next sitter. I really appreciated his help in introducing her to my pets and showing her what she needed to know before he left. It was clear to me that with Bert, my animals and home were in very good hands, I am thankful for his good care, and I would happily welcome him back into my home with my pets whenever he next comes back to Taiwan.

Amanda & Rajeev

Amanda and Rajeev were terrific housesitters and perfect for our 3 dogs. When we returned from our trip, we could tell the dogs were well taken care of and got plenty of activity. They constantly sent photos of them cuddling and loving on our boys, which allowed us to be away with ease. Would love to have them back again as future housesitters and even hang out with them! Highly recommend to anyone considering them!

Kathryn

Kathryn was everything you could possibly want in a sitter -- and more. From the time she met Karma, she was so loving and caring. She made sure Karma was well exercised, sent lots of pics and updates, and even took her to a nearby state park for a day. But then it got even better! There were severe thunderstorms forecasted on the day I was supposed to fly back (and Kathryn was supposed to fly home). Worrying that my flight was going to be cancelled or seriously delayed, Kathryn volunteered to stay over an extra day! Consider yourself lucky if Kathryn applies for a sit, then confirm her. She is aces!

Safiyyah

Safiyyah did a wonderful job keeping our cat happy. She was attentive and communicated well. The house was in order when we returned home. All in all a good sit.

Theresa is a professional through and through, and her dog, Snowy, is a total prince. From the moment we connected, Theresa was responsive and organized. While I was away, I enjoyed her daily updates but was able to rest easy knowing that Auggie and my home were in good hands. It's clear that Theresa is a natural with animals and an experienced house-sitter. Upon my return, Auggie was in great spirits, and my condo was spotless. Theresa went above and beyond, and I would recommend her without reservation.

I don't even know where to start, Leena was such a wonderful and gracious host. She was so communicative and helpful organizing snow shoveling services during the big storm that hit Lake Tahoe in late February. Her home is so welcoming and comfortable, with the sweetest companion, Sadie. Sadie is such a sweet dog who loves walks in the woods on the trails a few blocks from her home and cuddling up in the evenings before bed. We had such a wonderful time playing in the snow and going on walks 2x a day. Sadie is well behaved and loves running around off leash. She listens when recalled and a joy to spend your days with! I hope to be back to sit again in the future.

It’s was a pleasure to take care of Nemo, I’m already missing him! ?❤️ Neeraja and Jithin were lovely and their home is located in a nice, secure area with a great dog park just in front of the house.?
But most importantly, Nemo is such a wonderful good boy and we got along so well, snuggling on the couch, playing with his favorite toys and even taking a trip to the city together. He is an awesome dog and I can recommend this sit with all my heart. ?

Max and Joanna made us very welcome in their lovely, comfortable house with swimming pool. 
They introduced their 3 cats to us from afar because of course they were afraid of seeing strangers.  They gave us all the instructions before they left. Our stay went very well in the company of Baba Dahl and GJ. Their favorite moment of course is the evening treat. They were a little shy at first but after a few days they came to the room in the morning and even cuddled.
We regularly gave news to the parents of the 12 legs by sending photos and comments.
For our part, we spent a large part of our time at the swimming pool in a relaxed atmosphere. Their house is located 10 minutes walk from all shops, markets, cafes, restaurants, massages. Our stay was very pleasant and we can only recommend Joanna and Max.
We hope to see them again on one of their next trips.

Gloria is such a lovely person. I’m very glad we met and became friends. She loves to travel and adores her fur babies, Ava and Scarlett. 

The location is perfect. It is close to everything as far as shopping, restaurants and so many exciting things to do. The home is in a quiet neighborhood. One thing I noticed was there are lots of birds that frequent her back yard that is lined by trees. 

The home is stunning. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and more. This home is very clean and amazingly beautiful. 

Ava is such a cutie. She rarely barks and will sit patiently watching and admiring what you are doing. She so tiny and sweet. Scarlett is visually impaired, but she knows her way around. She will know if you are cooking and quickly let’s you know she wants to eat too. She sometimes gets lost and frustrated. She tries to figure it out but I know she gets frustrated. She loves cuddles and play time as well as Ava. I simply adored them and now I miss them. ❤️

I was Gloria’s first housesit, but I hope she enjoyed Trusted Housesitters and is please with the service. She’s top notch and very easy to communicate with and she’s very accommodating. I hope she continues her travels and finds this service is a must have.

We really enjoyed our sit with Maya, who is a sweet and extremely mellow dog. Dave and Sarah were very welcoming and their home was a great base for exploring nearby parks, walking trails, and restaurants.
