Very nice hospitable family Ammu and Matthew. Very friendly energetic doggie Eli, beautiful chocolate lab. We loved our stay with him in their clean comfortable home. Thank you and hope to see you again soon!
Jelly is an absolute sweetheart. The house is so cozy and max and Rebecca are very accommodating. Would happily stay for them again
Marco was brilliant from the start. We had a video chat a few months before and we clicked straight away! He kept in contact leading up to our sit which was great because we were on holiday from the UK so all communication was greatly appreciated! When we arrived, Marco very kindly picked us up from the station and then drove us around to show us the area which is outstanding! Hallet Cove is rugged and beautiful. The beach is amazing and there is the fabulous Boathouse for meals and drinks with a fantastic view of the cove. Marco's house is great, the highlight being the view from the back veranda which looks down into the sea. The sunset is amazing! Everything you need is in the house and the shops and beach are a short walk away. Adelaide is also only a 30 minute train ride Now down to the real highlight; Wookie! She is the most gentle and easy going dog. Very loving and easy to walk. We spent more or less a while day on the beach with her and she was a dream! She loves people and collecting stones if you throw them for her. We fell in love her and will definitely miss her! If you see a sit here, snap it up! Thanks, Marco, for a lovely stay!
My husband and I loved this sit. Kata and Laci were amazing. Laci picked us up from the station in Lund when we arrived and dropped us off at the airport in Malmo when our sit was done. Csipa, Potty and Makos were super easy to look after. They are loving cats and love a nice cuddle. Harlosa is a great little village with a pizza place and small supermarket, everything you need is there. We were lucky enough to even use their electric car to explore a bit. We highly recommend this sit! Can't wait to go back in the future.
I had the pleasure of looking after lovely Ollie for a few days in the early autumn. Nick and Kyla made me feel very welcome on their cosy barge, and it really was a wonderful experience staying on the water. The boat has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Ollie is a gentle, sweet character, and it was a real pleasure exploring the area with him - there are loads of walking tracks just a couple of minutes' walk from the boat. I would love to sit for Nick and Kyla (and Ollie!) again, and would definitely recommend it to others.
Buster the Lab… gold in colour to match his heart of gold!!! I love all animals, but particularly adore large cuddly dogs - so having the honour to sit for beautiful Buster was a dream come true! I’ve had the privilege to care for many dogs over the past years, but feel special Buster is one in a million (in the best way!) He is such a happy boy, he spreads smiles to everyone everywhere he goes - dog lovers can’t help but fall in love with his handsome face & joyous character! Buster is incredibly well natured, & fantastic off lead (when in enclosed parks) with good recall. Like all labs, Buster is highly food motivated so sitters should watch what he’s sniffing closely (in order to prevent any undesirable snacks!). Regardless, he really couldn’t be better behaved, super friendly to all humans & other dogs - just heavenly to be around! Beloved Buster is not tremendously large in height but he is a very strong lad, more bench/show Labrador style. He’s such a healthy boy, pure muscle, so will give your arms a good workout - more so than a typical lean field lab that Brits may be most acquainted with. Therefore I feel any prospective sitter should ideally have relevant experience of similar dogs, to help keep you + Buster as safe as poss in the busy city. But Buster really couldn’t be sweeter & you’ll definitely have a ball together! After fun walkies you can be sure of Buster cuddles back home. Buster & I had the best time exploring the area & his fav place Hyde Park! We walked happily for miles together, he was also great on the bus and overground tubes with step access (wouldn’t risk moving stairs). Personally I feel this sit would be perfect for a big dog lover, who is perhaps somewhat familiar with the city, so you can focus on special time with Buster. As a huge lab lover, this is why I applied to this sit. Whereas if you’re seeking central London tourist vibes with lots of sightseeing, then this may not be the perfect fit as feel it wouldn’t be fair to leave Mr Buster too long - besides he is so amazing to be around it’s hard to pull yourself away! Though Aaron did kindly mention Buster is also happy to chill in his comfy crate, & indeed I found he’s very quiet and does enjoy a nap. On top of having the most wonderful lab - Aaron & family have the most beautiful home in the most incredible area. Their very large apartment is wonderfully light, clean and gorgeously decorated. It’s so peaceful and silent despite the central location. You’re really spoilt for choice in the neighbourhood, there is so much to see just steps from their door. Many of the local eateries + shops are dog friendly, & the nearby parks are the perfect places to enjoy nature with Buster. Honestly this sit was an absolute treat - thank you so much Aaron and family! I would so happily come running back for playtime with Buster in a heartbeat! Wish this lovely family and dear Buster all the very best with their new adventure this side of the pond :)
