10/10, couldn’t rate this lovely couple more highly. From our very first Zoom meeting with Abbi & Martin we knew they would be excellent house sitters. They were clearly highly experienced and asked all of the right questions including many that we hadn’t even thought of ourselves. This put our minds at ease, knowing that they were clearly extremely conscientious and would look after our home and our Beagle Alfie as if they were their own. Abbi and Martin were excellent communicators, both before and during the sit. They liaised with us regarding their arrival times and we’re very punctual. We spent a lovely evening with them the night before we went on our holiday, which was helpful as we could show them small quirks of our house and Alfie’s routine/behaviours. They really listened and it was clear they would be very capable problem solvers if anything unforeseen had cropped up with the house or dog. We left for our holiday entirely confident in them. When we returned, our house was immaculate, far cleaner and tidier than we had left it. This was a lovely unexpected surprise, and just typifies the type of people they are. Good, honest, trustworthy & lovely. It was a real pleasure having them sit for us. We hope their schedule might overlap with ours in the future so that they can sit for us again! Overall she was a good sitter. My expectations were not meet as to taking the dogs out every 2-3 hours. The lock on the door let me know when anyone entered or exited. Some times it was 4-5 hours or more. I wish I would have done a video chat with both Carol Ann and Dennis so we both would have been more comfortable. This is the first sit that was completed for me through this site. I learned a lot.
