Stefan and family did a wonderful job taking care of our dogs and our garden. They brought in our mail and put the trash cans at the curb on the appointed day. They fell in love with our goldens and, evidently, the dogs were so happy they didn’t miss us at all! 😂 They continuously sent photos and videos which were great reassurances that everything went well. Heidi and Todd are interesting world travelers who obviously love their cats and were great to work with. Their cats, Eli and Sidney, are very sweet and love using the cat flap to access their secure "catio" for a safe taste of the outdoors. Sidney was very playful and affectionate with us after the first day, and Eli was shy. He seemed more comfortable after seeing us with Heidi and Todd. Their home is comfortably spacious and they thoughtfully left us plenty of closet and drawer space, as well as space in the refrigerator, which we appreciated. Their home gym is well equipped, and they welcomed us to use their hot tub. They made us feel right at home and it was clear they wanted us to enjoy our stay. Their neighborhood is quiet and has great walking paths and hiking trails nearby. Shopping, restaurants, and other attractions of the San Francisco Bay area are close by. They left us a very complete and well organized house manual, and Heidi kept in touch regularly, answering any questions that popped up, appreciating the kitty photos we sent each day, and sharing some gorgeous photos from their trip. We enjoyed meeting them both, as well as Eli and Sidney, and would be happy to sit for them again.
