We loved having Lisa taking care of our dog. When she finished the sit and left our home, our dog lovingly stared at her walking away from the door and we just know it’s a good sign that Lisa really bonded with our (shy) dog. She was very communicative about questions or providing updates. We are the most thankful that when our return flight got delayed, we had to spend the night at the airport and couldn’t make it home for the night - she was very flexible and stayed for another night to take care of our dog. We will for sure ask her to sit for us again since it was a great experience.

I recently had the pleasure of catsitting for Remy, and it was a wonderful experience. Remy's apartment is absolutely lovely, and the location is amazing—everything you could need is just a short walk away, including the ocean, which is just incredible. As for Smokey, he's an absolute delight! Adorable and sweet, Smokey was the perfect companion. Remy herself was so welcoming, kind and communicative. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay looking after Bruce and Rosie in Liz and Jerry's lovely home. Liz and Jerry kindly offered us the opportunity to visit them ahead of our week's stay which gave us a chance to experience the warmth of their welcome and gain a great insight into caring for Bruce and Rosie. We met Liz and Jerry again briefly on the morning of their departure and we knew that they were always available to answer any questions arising.

With Bruce and Rosie for company, we had many fun outings and cosy evenings in. All four of us like a good walk and, although the weather was quite changeable, we enjoyed happy hours of sunshine walking on the local tracks and footpaths and on the many wonderful local beaches - each with their own unique flavour and all worth exploring. Bruce and Rosie are excellent car passengers making trips out very easy.

Rosie is such a bundle of youthful joy and has energy for just about everything; no matter how many times you throw that ball or stick, you will be challenged to tire her out. Her particular fondness for presenting us with new sticks the size of small trees gave us lots of smiles. Rosie is also incredibly affectionate, enjoying cuddles and tummy rubs whenever they are on offer.

Bruce, as the older statesman, is much more laid back with walks being a chance for him to grab a bit of “me” time trotting off ahead to investigate hedgerows and the rocks on the beach. He never strayed too far from us and regularly checked out that we were not far behind. Bruce is also very affectionate, clearly enjoying human company and even surprising us by curling up on our laps sometimes.

It was such a pleasure to sit at the kitchen table basking in the view and sunlight. With a bit of guidance from Liz, we had fun learning how to cook on an Aga and find ourselves missing the sound of the whistling kettle.

Thank you to Liz, Jerry, Bruce and Rosie for giving us this opportunity and ensuring that we had an immensely enjoyable time on our first visit to the South Hams.
