A fantastic sit! Jerry maintained good communications before and during the sit and his Welcome Guide was the most comprehensive one that we have seen with recommendations, etc. The location was incredible, just mere minutes from Downtown Annapolis with its great restaurants, shopping and of course the US Naval Academy. Jerry advised us to take the train into DC rather than drive and it was absolutely the best advice ever! Now, as far as the cats go, they were incredibly low maintenance. This was our first experience with Ragdolls and hope it will not be the last. Their home is lovely and large and we would go back there in a heartbeat!

Purdey
AMAZING sit! Wendy is by far the most popular dog I've ever cared for; she is so loved in the community and is great at making new dog and human friends. Many neighbors know her by name and will greet her. I had such a fun time!

The apartment community Purdey lives in is very friendly; it's a gem in Venice Beach in the sense that there's a very strong sense of comradery among the residents. I met many great people while staying here, and even made some new friends. Wendy and I would often sit and enjoy the sunlight in the circled grass area that has benches, and that was a highlight of my time there. There's also a several story gym (very nice) and pool that are great to use also. Purdey's guest room and bathroom were great as well, and the kitchen was clean and welcoming. Purdey herself was fantastic. She was easy to get a hold of and answered any questions I had. When I first arrived she gave me a tour of the complex and generously invited me to her chocolates and the food in her kitchen. She went above and beyond in several instances, and was just wonderful.

After seeing the previous review, I want to kindly point out that there are street parking signs clearly labeled throughout the complex. Residents and guests park on the street, so it's easy to follow the rules as long as you read the signs. I didn't have a car and didn't need one—it was so easy to get around without one, and the apartment is in close walking distance to grocery stores and Abbot Kinney. But I wanted to point out that street parking is common in LA—as long as you read and follow the posted signs (they are clearly visible), you won't get a ticket.

Overall this was one of my most memorable sits, and I feel very lucky and grateful to have been invited! I will miss Wendy!

It was a pleasure housesitting for Jo! The apartment is beautiful, and Laksa and Popi are lovely cats (you might miss them when you leave).
I was lucky to have Jo as the first person I housesit for through the app - she is extremely organized, will ensure you have everything you need when she's out and was kind to meet with me before my sit started.
Laksa and Popi are beautiful cats who also like their independence. The apartment is in a great location. I wouldn't hesitate to housesit for Jo again! Thank you for having me :)

Trudi
Trudi was a good communicator when away; answering my queries promptly. The dogs were great. Very good in the house; waiting for their food and going in their cage when asked. The instructions left were a little hard to read and the feeding regime wasn't clear. Just the amounts to feed the dogs, not how many times and nothing about the very cute cat. I believe this was Trudi's first sit.
There was a bit of a mix up and my message about my daughter didn't arrive and due to floods, I was late arriving.
I hope your next sit works out better Trudi.

Sally
This was a lovely sit from start to finish. We communicated from the beginning mainly by phone and once Matt and I arrived Sally then explained all the information we needed to know both about the pets, the house and surrounding area.
To start with the pets Rooibos and Laemiki are real characters and both extremely affectionate ( Laemiki just takes a little while). They are both easy to look after and lovely company- especially in front of the log fire in the evening!
We were able to leave them for short durations to do some local site seeing however Rooibos was equally easy on walks both with recall and with other dogs and loved to accompany us to the local pub.
The house is beautiful and easy to keep clean. It is an old school house from around 1850 and is open plan with lots of light. As mentioned it also has a wood burner for colder evenings. Our bedroom was great- a large comfortable bed and a large bathroom with a walk in shower.
Locally there are plenty of walks and several good pubs and Chichester and the coast are an easy drive away.
We would highly recommend this sit- so much so we are going back again soon.
