I truly cannot say enough amazing things about Natalie! She watched Bali at my home for 5 weeks, the longest I have ever been away, and I was SO nervous to be gone for so long. But after just a few days, that completely disappeared. Natalie is a natural with dogs, and Bali fell in love with her immediately (and vice versa). Natalie sent updates often, sharing pictures of their daily walks, cuddles, and adventures at restaurants, in cars, and on the bus (she took Bali everywhere!). I had multiple neighbors text me to tell me how happy Bali was with Natalie and how great she was as a temporary neighbor. Leading up to my trip, Natalie was a breeze to communicate with and even came to meet up with us so Bali would be familiar with her. She also coordinated with another sitter who was taking over after I decided to extend my trip (all because Natalie was so fantastic). She left my home tidy, cleaned the guest linens, and welcomed the next sitter into my home with a full rundown on the house and Bali. It completely made my trip knowing that my dog was so well cared for. I will 100% be using Natalie again for my next long trip!
This was Mary's second time sitting for us in Lexington. Just the fact that I sought her out for the sit should underline what an excellent pet- and house-sitter she is. Mary is conscientious about following my instructions, and she is careful to read everything I provide her about the animals and the house. Honestly, when I got home, it was so neat and tidy and clean that it was hard to tell she had been here! But Penelope's totally routine behavior on our return indicated that Mary had done everything to keep my little old lady (19 years old) content and healthy. Mary had definitely been here, and I expect to invite her to sit for us again. I highly recommend her.
