I greatly enjoyed my time in Olympia with Piper and Sky! Jeff and Judy were so welcoming and accommodating of both me and my dog and made sure that I felt at home and had a great stay. Judy even drove me around and showed me the best places to walk the dogs which were beautiful, enjoyable walks! I loved the town of Olympia, and I loved spending time with the pups in Jeff and Judy's beautiful home and backyard even more. I would definitely recommend this sit to anyone considering it!
Right from the start Jan proved to be a terrific home owner for a page like trustedhousesitters.com. Communication with her was easy, she put great a effort into making us feel welcomed and informed about the animals and housesit. She and her family are great to talk to - and very helpful. The bunnies have been terrific as well. At first they've been a bit shy, but after just the right amount of pets we became friends over all. It's just a day since we left and we already miss Mum Buns, Hero, Fawney and Circle.
This was my first sit and Bruna and I had a great time taking care of sweet little Pali! She’s very communicative and a pleasure to have around. The location is also amazing and very safe for female travelers. I would love to come back, thank you Cassie and Conner!
lt was lovely looking after Kates house and pets, they were so loving, well behaved and sweet, and the communication between Kate and her husband was 100% great. This was a dream house sit! Looking after Curtis & Doctor was as fun & simple as can be -- they're both so sweet & mellow, very patient, & despite being used to eating human food, are incredibly well-mannered in the kitchen. If you work from home, they would love to keep you company, but are extremely quiet. They are also accustomed to being left outside all day, napping under the fruit trees. The house is an architectural marvel, & has the best front garden & backyard orchard on the block. Steven & Dijana were some of the coolest folks I’ve met through THS—truly “mi casa es su casa” types. They were beyond generous, leaving me with their CSA & egg share...and if you don't have ample food on top of this from the garden (constant stream of zucchini, tomatoes, cukes and amazingly sun-ripened fruit), there is a full size grocery store within walking distance. It's just a couple blocks to the main stretch of Normal Heights, which has everything you need. Yoga, quality restaurants, free standup comedy, and some of the best ice cream in America (ranked #1 in USA Today). Since they have a beautiful separate apt above the garage, coming earlier & staying a few days late while I waited for my next sit to start was welcomed. They were also open to my using their car and bicycle! One of the highlights of the sit is taking the dogs to visit with & get their treats from their 92-year old neighbor (10-15/min each morning). Steven & Dijana are well-integrated into a wonderful community, and getting to chat with the neighbors on this porch was a great way to be welcomed & learn about SD. Preference would likely go to a sitter who wouldn't mind sleeping in bed with the dogs. If for any reason you wouldn't like to, though, the dogs sleep in their usual human bed without you, and await patiently until you open their door again the next morning. Like I said, very mellow and well-behaved. Lastly, this is one of the best equipped kitchens I have ever seen... they are definitely foodies! What more could you need or want from a housesit? If you get the opportunity to sit for this crew, jump on it!

Kelly and Rosie looked after our 6 month old puppy Monty for ten days in September 2020. It was the first time we had left him with anyone else for an extended period of time but he was clearly very well looked after. We were given daily updates about how he was getting on, along with photos of his time outside on the beach, in the countryside or playing around at home. Kelly and Rosie clearly love what they do and we really felt Monty was in safe hands. He is looking forward to staying with them again next time we go away.
Kelly and Rosie are the BEST! We were let down by a local company and Kelly and Rosie saved us from cancelling our family holiday abroad! They welcomed our two cockapoos, Maisie and Bella with open arms and big hearts! They sent us photos and videos daily of their many walks and playing and it was easy to see they were being so loved and cared for in our absence. We couldn’t recommend them enough and being let down has inadvertently done us the biggest favour as we wouldn’t take our dogs anywhere else moving forward! When we picked the dogs up, they were so happy! Kelly and Rosie sent them home with a little gift bag with treats and toys for each. Maisie and Bella can’t wait for their next sleepover! Kelly and Rosie @ Bed & Bone are the best 'aunts' to our two pups Bertie and Bear when they stay. We're kept up to date with their shenanigans and feel 100% comfortable in the knowledge that they are being very well looked after (and probably more pampered than when they are at home!). We would thoroughly recommend Bed & Bone for doggy daycare and longer stays.
Fantastic dog holiday home with lovely owners. Our pup Aalto always leaps into their car. They are located near so much beautiful country side. Free collection and drop off from south London. Aalto has a some behavioural issues and they are great at understanding his needs and making sure he fits into the family. It is such a great feeling to go on holiday knowing he is having an amazing time.
I am so glad we found Kelly and Rosie to care for our fur babies Lily and Millie they have spend days at Bed and Bone and also a week whilst we were on holiday. Kelly and Rosie send updates and photos each day of how the girls are doing they just bring them into their family and give them an amazing home from home experience. We felt like the girls were having their own 5 star holiday whilst we were enjoying ours. After an unexpected change at our usual dog daycare and boarding we needed to find someone we could trust with our small rescue dog Billy. After reading multiple reviews, looking at websites and asking around we contacted Kelly and Rosie at Bed and Bone Boarding, Hastings. From the start we were impressed with their qualifications and testimonials plus the professional way they requested Billy's medical information, regime/likes/dislikes and quirks, making us confident Billy would be looked after. Billy started with a trial day, then a trial night to make sure he was a good fit for them and the other dogs they care for- happily for us he was! Billy now goes for regular daycare and boarding. Billy happily runs in as if he has been going there all his life, he loves playing with the other dogs and going out walking and we get sent the photos/videos to prove it. Kelly and Rosie are responsive to our messages and the daily photos when we are away reassure us that Billy is well looked after and happy. We are very pleased we have found Bed and Bone.
What a remarkable service Rosie and Kelly provide. They are extremely knowledgeable and very professional. Our furry boy Humphrey really took to Kellie and Rosie on arrival for his short stay! Straining at the lead to greet them both! Laughing. We had a lovely reassuring photos of Humphrey that he was settled and happy. We will certainly contact the ladies if we need good boarding care for Humphrey in the future:)
I am so grateful to have found Bed and Bone. I have quite a sensitive dog and being able to take her to somewhere that feels more like a home from home is so important and comforting. If my dog didn't like somewhere, she would resist going back, but she trots off no problem and I get lovely photos of her from Kelly and Rosie throughout the day to reassure me she is ok. Rosie and Kelly looked after my young dog Roma whilst I was on holiday. Roma was so well cared for and I was absolutely confident that she would be well looked after and safe during her stay. If only I were a dog I would check myself in. My only worry was that Roma wouldn’t want to come home, but happily she did. It was extra helpful that they provide a collection and drop off service- a massive help when going on holiday.
Hi Sophie, we would like to say a big thank you to Julie and we love pets. Zuzu was obviously well looked after and had an enjoyable time with Julie and her family. We love the photos we were sent - it gave us peace of mind seeing Zuzu so content. Signing up with Sophie and the team at We Love Pets and Eastbourne, has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. It is such a relief knowing that my Alfie is taken such good care of when I’m not around for work or at big events where dogs unfortunately aren’t allowed. He is my world so I spent a lot of time researching and interviewing local dog carers. As soon as Sophie walked in I knew she was the one. Professional, knowledgeable, experienced and of course a lover of dogs, her and her wonderful, vetted and accommodating team have been a real god send. They take genuine care of Alfie, sending me pictures and videos of him having fun when I am away for work, which makes my day! Alfie loves going for walkies, spending time with Sophie, Melissa and Rebecca, and even the odd doggie friend, which he loves. It really is a weight off my mind. If I could give 10 stars I would! We used We Love Pets and Sophie for the first time to look after our puppy for 4 days. From the first contact is was excellent, she visited with her colleague Melisa to learn what we wanted and interact with the puppy. When we went away the handover was easy and our puppy had the best time! On return Melisa had left our house spotless and a very tired and happy puppy !!! We had the wonderful Melissa looking after our three cats for three weeks in July-August ('22) and we really couldn't have wished for a better experience! She kept us updated on WhatsApp with photos and the cats were evidently very well looked after - even the most shy of the three warmed to her, which was lovely. She also looked after the plants, the posts, and if anything the house looked better when we came back than when we left. Such a relief to have a kind, trustworthy person looking after our four-legged family members, can't sing her praise highly enough. We are in Eastbourne attending a family funeral, and were unable to leave our dog at home, so looked for a home boarding service locally. Thankfully we found We Love Pets Eastbourne who weren't able to provide home boarding, but we're able to provide a sitter at the house for the duration of the funeral and the wake. Sophie is so kind and yet totally professional, and Kiera, who looked after Ruby whilst we were away is the sweetest person, and was put completely at ease with regards to leaving our third "child" with her immediately. I can't thank Sophie and Kiera enough, and based on my interactions with them, I would recommend We Love Pets Eastbourne without a moment's hesitation. Thank you for making an emotional day so much more bearable.

Sophie and her team are incredible! They have looked after Archie, my chocolate Labrador puppy since he came home with me and he absolutely adores them! I trust them implicitly to take care of my baby and they have been great with advice and support to this first time dog Mum! I cannot recommend them highly enough and there is a big 'paws up' from Archie too!

My rabbits Hank and Mouse had a fantastic stay at Langney Lodge. Connor was enormously communicative and helpful, offering to pick me up from the nearby train station which saved me a taxi fare. The accommodation for rabbits is also fantastic, consisting of a large insulated shed with a variety of toys and objects for enrichment, as well as access to an outdoor run around area when the weather is a bit nicer. I received a bunch of updates with how they were doing over my week away, so I was always kept at ease. It's clear that Connor really loves animals, and provides your pets with the best care possible. I cannot recommend Langney Lodge enough, and I'm sure Hank and Mouse will be back again the next time they're in need of a holiday!
Well I have found the perfect and safe place for my beloved furry family to stay whilst I am away from home. I live close by to the kennels and can say the care and attention of all the staff at Linden Lodge have given my pets whilst in their care is comforting to myself and reassuring my animals are 100% well cared for . Thank you for your kindness and support to the kennel team. We shall return once again soon.
We have used Linden Lodge for a good few years, both our dogs walk off, happy and tails wagging, without a backwards glance, they are always happy to spend their holidays here. Would recommend them with confidence.
We have quite an anxious german shepherd, but he loves coming here and we have never had any issues, they look after him very well, and whenever we pick him back up, he is always very clean and happy.
Iwas looking for a kennel for my dog, while we will travel. Lynne, the lady who showed us around the place, had all passion for the work she does. Had all time to listen about my dog, she explained well all that they have in offer to accommodate my dog. Very good and clean place. I’m looking forward for our next visit.
