Gretchen was fantastic. House was left clean and orderly. All my plants were watered and healthy. The most important part was the care of my dogs. I had daily updates with pics and or video. They were well cared for. My small dog doesn’t “take” to everyone, but she loved Gretchen. They were taken on walks and field trips. Really can’t say enough about her. Professional, understood what was needed and awesome with the pups! Very pleasant to communicate with.
It was a real pleasure to look after Kiki in Hannah’s lovely home. Kiki was very loving and chatty, once she got used to us, and my kids had great fun playing with her in the beautiful back garden. The house had everything we needed and Hannah left us very clear instructions for everything. The area is lovely and very close to shops and public transport routes. It’s not long to get into London for the day by train and there’s many nice places to visit nearby as well. Thank you for a fantastic stay Hannah and the tea and biscuits on arrival was a very thoughtful touch.
It was a pleasure to hang out with Murphy. He's a lovable, playful and sweet pup. John's home is amazing with a beautiful view and very comfortable surroundings. They made us feel right at home and served a lovely dinner. We be happy to return to spend time with Murphy again.
I really enjoyed sitting for Michael and Caitlin. They gave me clear instructions for everything I needed to know about the house and animal care. There animals were all very sweet. The dogs stayed close by me most of the time and were very well behaved in the evenings when we walked up the trail to the top of the mountain without leashes. The cats stayed in their favorite sleeping spots most of the time, but came around sometimes for a little attention. The house was comfortable and in such a beautiful spot. In mid May, there is the biggest, most gorgeous flame azalea blooming right in the front yard. Clyde and Lake Junaluska are about 30 minuets away. There are several good restaurants in Clyde and several gardens and walking trails to explore in Lake Junaluska and the entire region.
Such a wonderful week with Ben and Blossom! Right from the start, I knew this was going to be a great sit. Communication with Marion was clear and consistent before, during and after the sit. She was so welcoming when I arrived. I felt completely comfortable in her beautiful home. The location was perfect. It was about 20 minutes to walk downtown, and just down the street from the Pittville Pump Room which was a great spot for my morning run. The weather was beautiful, and I enjoyed sitting on the back terrace in the evenings. Best of all, of course, were Ben and Blossom. The sweetest and friendliest cats I may have ever met. They would both say hello to me during the day, insisting on pets and love. Blossom liked to follow me around until I finally decided to stay put somewhere, and she would make herself comfortable near by. I had such a lovely time. Should the opportunity present itself again, I would definitely return.
Lovely dogs and owners and fabulous home. Taking care of three dogs could be full on but all three have lovely natures and were calm, obedient and fuss free after we were introduced! I chose to walk them separately due to coastal (cliff) location + rabbits etc in abundance so walking quite time consuming but a delight in such a lovely place. No easy place for a quick wee first thing or last thing at night - no problem in summer but to bear in mind on a winter’s morning/night time! Everything as described and parking kindly provided.
Luna, Roux, Jude & Molly were the absolute sweetest. So chill and with all different personalities. Lisa’s home is actual Art, every corner. In such a serene and peaceful area. I felt right at home and had all I needed to feel comfortable. I hope to be back with this crew soon. Highly recommend this sit!
