Avery is truly an angel dog with the sweetest pout, adorable snore, and adventurous spirit. She will be your little shadow and best friend during your tranquil stay in scenic Avon, CO. During our winter stay, we enjoyed long walks and breathtaking views along local trails. The home is super cozy, beautifully decorated, and well stocked. We didn’t dine out (since we love to cook) but there’s many restaurants, cafes, gyms, and shops a short drive away. In Avon the mountains will be your backyard, an absolute dream location year-round for winter sports, cycling, hiking - fill in the blank! The hosts Dana and Drew are kind, welcoming, and responsive - you couldn’t ask for more perfect hosts. Thanks again for everything!
Gill and Simon welcomed us into their beautiful home with a driving tour around the area and a delicious home cooked meal and good conversation over a glass of wine. They were very welcoming and communication before and during sit was great. The parking pass to the Malvern Hills area was much appreciated. Our bed was very comfy and space made for us in the closet. The house was clean (the regular cleaner was lovey and did a great job too) and beautifully decorated and welcoming and comfortable. The garden was full of beautiful flowers and lots of produce to eat. The fish were easy, sacha the cat liked to sleep all day and purr with a cuddle at night. Baxter and Ziggy were 2 of our favourite dogs ever. They were well behaved and great company. They loved walks but weren’t demanding to go and were happy to wait until after a morning cup of tea to go off adventuring. Baxter is full Of personality and Ziggy is so sweet and gentle. Both dogs are full of love. Both dogs had daily medication - I’ve never seen dogs so easy to give pills too! Just pop it on top of their kibble and they happily ate it. Colwall and Malvern Hills area is a great place to spend time, there is much to do and the walks are spectacular. Only thing is now I’m Spoilt for Malvern Spring water and tap water just doesn’t taste quite as good as it did before! Thank you for the sit, and for the pleasure of the doggos and Sasha.
