I had a great time looking after Winnie and Jynx for a few days. They are two adorable outdoor cats and it is a joy to have them around. They both love attention, cuddles, human company and exploring their surroundings. They are two affectionate, gentle, gorgeous, sweet and easy-to-care-for cats. My awakenings were always very sweet, with Jynx and Winnie by my side always eager to cuddle and be pampered. Such sweetness. So many good times. I had a wonderful time in their company. I had the pleasure of meeting Sophie. She is a lovely young woman. She went out of her way to make me feel comfortable in her home by welcoming me the evening before my departure. Communication was smooth before, during and after the sit. The house was cosy, bright and with a beautiful garden. Thank you Sophie. I miss Winnie and Jynx.
One of the doodles had an upset tummy while I was staying (not sure if it was due to new food or anxiety) but Janice was great about being available to answer any questions I had! I stayed in their recently redone basement and it had everything I neded.
We had a fantastic time taking care of Bannie and Red. They have very different personalities but are both purring machines who love cuddle time. Great house, amazing location right on the beach, great family - looking forward to taking care of the boys again.
I was in Goodyear for two and a half weeks, while I took care of Toby and Meagan. John and Linda are great people and I felt very very welcome from the first moment. It felt like we know each other some years instead of days. Toby and Meagan are amazing little dogs. Both came for cuddling in my bed and they behaviors themselves very good on the leashes -as long as there is no rabbit or other dog around them-. We went out for a long walk in the morning and short walk in the evening. Walking during the day is way too hot for there paws so they enjoyd a daily golf cart ride to reach a shady outside area. They really like the golf cart rides. I have had an amazing time in Arizona and if you get the opportunity to take care for Toby and Meagan I can highly recommend it.
Jackie's place was super comfy and clean as a whistle - and it's within walking distance to The Green Mill (bonus)! Her doggies Birdie & Roz are adorable and sweet as pie! They are rescues from a puppy mill - so you should have experience dealing w/some anxiety issues. PS: Lots of dogs in her building and everyone there was so nice! :)
Michael and Hanneke were the consummate hosts. They were friendly and welcoming with very good communication throughout. They couldn't have done more for us and we have loved our time at their stay. The house and farm are beautiful, Defford is a beautiful part of the world and being able to walk the farms fields with the dogs is very relaxing and freeing. The dogs themselves are gorgeous. Pip is incredible for a blind dog and still loves to run in the fields and Bonnie is a very cute companion. They have made us put Working Cocker Spaniels right to the top of our dog shortlist! We are already missing the dogs and couldn't recommend this house sit enough. All the best, Will and Elaine.
