Alyson & Paolo were excellent pet sitters! They were good at communicating with us, they gave our cats lots of love, & they were willing to adapt to requests that we had such as testing and masking until we left on our trip. One of our cats can be very difficult when it comes to food & he has to take medication, but they did a good job handling all of that. They sent us regular pics of our kitties with updates on how things were going. They also did a quick cleaning job on our place before we left. :] I think they even washed our car, which we allowed them to use when at our place. I highly recommend them as pet sitters!

What a pleasure It was meeting Jennifer and Jim and being able to sit for their three pups and chickens. We were greeted with open arms and wine, and a delicious dinner to follow! What more could you ask for. Truly special people, with a great sense of humor! Their little oasis was truly something special with the views and aesthetically pleasing decor.

Haggis won over our heart. We truly fell in love with this little mush ball that loves attention and cuddles. He is also very well behaved. Poppy the queen of the castle likes to run the show but once you stay firm with her she can’t always win haha her personality was something we enjoyed to watch throughout the sit and her love for food is like no other. Pipa another food lover, who is pretty laid back and likes to stay outside and roll in the grass. The pups are pretty easy to take care of but you just need to keep an eye on poppy and pipa a little more than haggis. They enjoy their daily naps and sunbathing. The chickens were such a fun experience they are easy to handle and really just do their own thing eating all day and living their best lives. If you’re good they will
Gift you with their eggs for breakfast , which we very much enjoyed and looked forward to!

We truly enjoyed our sit and we recommend Jennifer & Jim’s house sit.

Janet
I had a lovely time looking after Coco and Jan's home and plants. Jan collected me from Priego de Cordoba, and we all got on really well from the start. Coco is adorable, he is enough of a dog to have his own personality but equally loves human company and is a great companion. Jan was so helpful with all aspects of the stay and although her house was only newly renovated it was homely and had all I could need. Fuente Tojar is a small town and unfortunately has no bus service, but the upside is that it is very quiet, calm, friendly and a real escape from the stress of city life.
I met a number of people, both Spanish and expat, who were all lovely. Coco likes 3 walks a day of various lengths but there is plenty of choice, especially if you have use of a car. Priego de Cordoba and the surrounding campo are good places to visit.
I can't rate the experience highly enough, it worked out so well.
Thanks to Jan and Coco!

Grace
My family and I had a wonderful time caring for Grace's two adorable pups, Lila and Prince! She left detailed instructions on how to care for them, and was very responsive whenever we had a question. The dogs are so, so sweet and well behaved and we all absolutely loved getting to know them. Lila and Prince clearly love to be with their people, and were happy to take walks around the neighborhood, snuggle up on the sofa watching movies, and settle in for bedtime with us at night. We even took Prince on several hikes, and he happily led the way each time!

Grace went above and beyond to make us feel welcome with multiple coffee options, sweet treats, and many fantastic local restaurant and hike recommendations. Her home is warm, comfortable, and inviting, and we were all sad to say goodbye to Prince and Lila when it was time to leave. We absolutely loved making new human and furry friends on this sit!

Linda
We feel very fortunate to have house sat for Linda and Al. We had the privilege of spending a month in their beautiful home a nice neighborhood in Fort Worth. Texas. Linda is extremely organized and prepared a booklet alerting us to everything we would need to know to take great care of her fur babies while they were gone. Her beautiful Bernie Doodles, Crockett and Willie B. were such a joy to take care of and we became fast friends. Watch out for Willie if you let him off leash. He loves to roll in the dirt and sand. Crockett will try eating anything he can get his paws on. So watch out what you leave on the counters or when you are outside.. Linda and Al were kind enough to let us use their car which made it fun and easy to take the dogs for frequent outings to the dog parks, cafes and lakes to stay cool in the hot Texas sun. Pumpkin and Spice are outdoor cats and they were pretty self sufficient. Linda and Al are extremely kind and generous. We were very comfortable during our stay with their wonderful fur family. . Anyone would be blessed to house-sit for them.

Mitch and Erica were the perfect hosts and we could not have been more comfortable looking after Juno, Molly, Tao, Clover and Bessie. Highly recommend if you want to take long walks on the beach. A car would be nice but we managed well without one.

Brittani
Brittani’s place is an amazing place to stay uptown, and Phoebe the perfect roommate! I loved every minute I got to spend with Phoebe as she’s so affectionate and sweet. Brittani has made her home such a cozy place to be, she put together a very helpful guide for taking care of Phoebe and her home, and was communicative in case I had any questions. Would definitely recommend the stay!
