Lilly is absoultely wonderful - Charlie and Pickle are precious - truthfully what more could you need?! This was only our second time using Trusted House Sitters and we couldn't have had a better experience. Communications with Lilly before/during/after were perfect, she is truly so kind and makes you feel right at home! Their home is so cozy and lived in, not only is it absolutely stunning, but you can tell they put a lot of care into it, which feels really nice when you're spending time away from your own home! Our bedroom was beautiful, right at the top of the stairs, near a large bathroom. The neighborhood is very lively and we had neighbors say good morning to us, stop us on the streets to say hi to the dogs, and just general chatting - which was really special. When we first met Pickle, we were a little intimidated by her grumpy little face, thinking she wouldn't warm up to us... she was snuggling with us by the end of day one and stole our hearts by the morning after. She is really very funny and likes to get her brother going. She loves laying in her little bean bag, which is truly the cutest thing I've ever seen. She knows exactly when to eat, she's easy to walk... she is truly a breeze to care for. Charlie has the sweetest, softest, most gentle little face and truly is such a kind dog. He gets a bit stressed when he sees his leash, but he loves being out on a walk and calms down as soon as he hears or sees a treat. He does take medicine, but he knows exactly what is needed and when so we had no issues here at all. We found that as the week went on, Charlie spent more and more time snuggled up next to us. We had no issues at all taking care of these two, honestly, it felt like a break for us. They love to play, but they also love lounging around watching the rain or the fire. They are two adorable little characters and we would be so so delighted to take care of them again. Truthfully, I don't even want to say 'if you get the chance to puppysit for Lilly take it,' because we want to again! Beautiful family, beautiful home, beautiful dogs. Truly, a wonderful time. Thank you, again, Lilly!
Everything was great. Bruce is a friendly pup, a pleasure to take care of. Siobhan's home was very comfortable with beautiful views of the sunset over the Atlantic ocean. Would definitely recommend this sit to others.
Craig and I stayed at Nicolaas and Eke's wonderful property for four months. On arrival we spent a fantastic weekend with Nicolaas and had the opportunity to meet their friends from the area. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting and spending time with some wonderful people and definitely hope to see everyone again. It was a amazing experience looking after the house, chickens and grounds. We enjoyed undertaking some light maintenance tasks but felt under no pressure to do so. It was a privilege to do our small bit towards preserving this lovely historical property. Walking around the lake and spending time in the woods and orchard gave opportunities to watch nature and seasons change and the house was a peaceful place to relax. Contact with Nicolaas and Eke via Whatsapp was easy and lighthearted and they were keen to make sure that we were happy and comfortable. Whether as house-sitters or friends we would love to meet them again.
George and Becky have a beautiful house, they are so welcoming and accommodating. Their communication is amazing. Bandit is a lovely cat and is so easy to look after.
