Florence was great to step-in when we needed to book a sit within about 2 weeks of our departure date (somewhat a last min. trip). She was interested in having a call to chat before we booked the sit, and when she arrived to start the sit, she was well prepared. She had read the welcome guide in detail and had her questions ready. The sit went well. Our fur babies were well looked after, and we returned home to a very clean and tidy house!
Absolutely lovely home, terrific location and two beautiful cats. Great communication before, during and after the sit. I happened to be at Jennifer’s during some particularly brutal weather, and her availability while I was there was terrific. Space in the garage for my car, and arrangements to have the driveway plowed while I was there was a gift on a -14 day. Great sit!
Jeff and Kristi are great hosts and Claire and Cooper are a wonderful pair of playful kitties to spend some time with. They are lovely cats to care for and each has their own personality that shines through when you get to know them. Claire is energetic and playful but also loves to curl up around your legs on a night for some chill time. Cooper is shy to start with but once he gets to know you he loves a good chin rub and snuggles. Communication with Jeff Kristi was great and everything was incredibly smooth and easy throughout the sit. They have a wonderful home that is clean, cosy and very comfortable to stay in. The location is brilliant with all the essentials you need within easy walking distance. Kaohsiung has a fantastic transport system and is incredibly easy to get around (I recommend using the U bikes with your Easycard!). The city itself is incredibly impressive and has so much to offer. You will never run out of things to do or see. We were very sad to leave at the end of the sit. We will miss Claire and Cooper as well as Kaohsiung. It's been a brilliant experience and one we would do again at the drop of a hat! Thanks Jeff and Kristi for trusting us with your babies and lovely home, stay safe and give our love to Claire and Cooper.
Great little very Parisian apartment, nice location in the 20th and not far at all from the 10th/11th on foot. Good bars and restaurants around and handy to public transport. Chilli was an excellent pal. Very chill during the day and loves playing games at night. Coffee machine an added bonus which definitely helped me feel right at home.
Taking care of Stella was such a great experience, I miss her already! Barbara was really welcoming, gave me clear instructions for everything and the apartment was comfortable and had amazing views of the city. Working from home with those views was incredible! The first meet and greet, Kate and her colleague came to meet our puppy and go over in detail what was expected during her dog walks, training, habits etc. She also shadow her colleague on the first few days to make sure it was a smooth transition for our girl. The best part is our work is both mental and physically tiring so to come home to a happy tired dog is worth every penny. Kate's Pet Care is without a doubt the best I have had in the area. She is so kind and my cat and dog love her. I never have to worry when I am away that they are not getting the best care or attention, and I always get lots of updates on her app about the visits. She offers a great value for what she provides. I tried other services like Becky's Pet Care and had a few really bad experiences. I have a dog, cat, and a fish tank, and she has taken care of all of them.
Kate and her crew are absolutely wonderful. Very reliable and accommodating; they do their research and are more than willing to give individualized special care for each pet. Travis was excellent taking care of my minipig while I was away, following instructions down to a tee and making sure she got everything she needed. I didn't have to worry one bit. I found Kates pet sitting service after looking for a long time for someone to watch my pets. I have a dog who is very shy but super sweet and most people are scared of him, and won’t give him a chance. Kates team is super patient with him and it shows. Our two dogs love coming here for boarding when we have to head out of town. The team is very friendly, and the overnight boarding area has comfy beds, couches and chairs they can sleep on together. It makes us feel better knowing someone always stays with the dogs overnight, and they get outdoor walks everyday as part of their boarding package.
I cannot recommend Linda and her Two-Way team enough. I took an assignment in the area and moved from Detroit for almost 9 months with my dog. I knew nothing about the area, but I googled daycares this business and another one came up. I love two way. They are so loving and caring. There is so much sincerity and genuine love and care for our fur babies. They are super accommodating and even opened early for me one day because of work constraints. My dog Gizmo LOVES it there. The staff is always so helpful, leaves the sweetest messages with updates, and we ADORE the pics of our pups! We have used their services for doggy daycare, overnight boarding, and dog walking. We wouldn’t trust any other pet service provider with our pups after working with Two Way! We love the free-roam daycare, the cozy overnight space, and the love that the staff shows our pups. I cannot say enough good things about Two Way! My dog has been coming to Two Way for daycare for two years now and I couldn’t be more pleased. If you are going through the important choice of where to take your fur baby, I would wholeheartedly recommend Two Way. There are so many things I love about this group. 1. They love my dog as their own (and he is a 70 pound big boy so can be difficult to love at times). 2. They aren’t a chain. I have taken my dog to a chain that is less than a block away from Two Way - and the best thing about doing that was realizing how special Two Way is. 3. They don’t use kennels or crates which is great since my dog can get anxious and have accidents in crates. 4. They communicate! Their portal is easy to use and they respond pretty quickly. They also let you know if anything is going on with your dog or anything else and they are proactive about communication as well. 5. They are affordable! Well no dog care is as affordable as I would like, but they are the best in the area after extensive research. 6. They don’t separate the dogs by size which has helped my dog learn how to socialize with dogs of all sizes. Also the people who watch after them play with them and keep them entertained too. 7. They have cameras. So I can watch him play while I am at work. 8. They have great hours for drop off and pickup. 9. They really treat you like a person and give so much understanding to you - not just your dog. My dog is always SO excited to go here and knowing he is safe and cared for by great people makes it much easier to leave him. Please try them out - you won’t be disappointed!
I can not say enough about the TWO WAY DOG Walking family, they are amazing, where they are located at, I live in the apartment building. They are always super supportive with my dog and love on him and care for him like he is one of their own. I went through some hard family issues and situations and they not only cared for my dog but showed care and concern for trying to make it easier on me to care for my kids and keep care for my fur baby. Two-Way Dog Walking has done an amazing job with our boy Tiger. We rescued Tiger in 2019 and he had so many issues that the Doggie Care has helped Tiger work through. Linda and her staff are outstanding, we cannot praise this Team of caregivers enough.
I’ve been sending my dog (who is by no means easy to care for) to Two Way for a little less than 2 years and I have nothing but nice things to say about the staff! I appreciate the use of the online portal to ask questions, making bookings, and paying for invoices. I also love that Two Way includes a walk and medication administration in the price of the overnight bookings. Other local boarding options charge extra for these things and it makes me sad that anyone would nickle-and-dime me for the basic needs of my pet to be met. I also appreciate that their scheduling is so flexible, especially the availing to do “after hours” pick ups within reason. Other establishments in the neighborhood are super strict with their pickup timeline. Two Way has also gone ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure my dog’s health and safety is of utmost importance in all of his stays. Long story short, my boy is leash reactive and one time ran off while in Two Way’s care. The way the owner handled the situation made me a dedicated customer with zero hesitation to bring him back after this freak accident out of anyone’s control. After I returned home from my trip, the owner personally drove me and my pet to the nearest vet to rule out any injuries and checked in so many times. It’s abundantly clear to me that Two Way’s owner truly loves the pets in their care and will go the extra mile to maintain and reassure a loyal customer. For the last year since, his caretakers always reassure me that he’s walked alone and never hesitate to give me status updates on my boy. If I could give Two Way more than 5 stars, I truly would! I hesitated to write this review because I don’t want to paint Two Way in any negative light - I just figured my story is illustrative of the fact that this boarding facility is top notch and cares so much about the pets in its care.
Two Way Dog Walking is hands down the best dog daycare in the DMV. We have been sending our dog Bear to Two Way’s daycare every week day for the last 2+ years, since he was 4.5 months old, and they’ve truly become his second family. Linda, Vernon, and the rest of the Two Way team are incredible, and love your pets as if they were their own. Two Way is great with communication in even the smallest of situations and can always be reached- the genuine care and attention they give each dog cannot be found elsewhere. During overnights the pups aren’t stuck in a kennel, which is crucial for dogs who prefer human company too! Two Way has been so amazing for Bear that we have family, friends, and neighbors that now send their dogs to Two Way too! We found Two Way Dog Walking from reviews like these, and sharing our own amazing experience with them is long overdue! Like others searching for a doggy daycare, our dog is the center of our lives. When he's not with us, we need him to be safe, happy, and loved. During the 45+ hours a week Bear spends at Two Way daycare, we know he is safe, happy, and loved.
Absolutely love Two Way Pet Services! They are flipping awesome. They have a large playroom for all the dogs. You can watch on their CCTV Webcam. They also offer OVERNIGHT stays! Your fur baby is NEVER alone. I have a VERY HYPER, 1 year old, 50 lb, Dobie mix. She has been going 2x weekly since she was about 4 months. Recently she had to be quarantined for 6 weeks. What a horrible time we had without Two Way. I saw the difference in her behavior almost immediately. They help her get rid of any pent up energy in a safe, fun environment. The dogs are NOT in kennels. They are under constant supervision. Playing and just running around, enjoying life. The staff is simply wonderful. They are also doing some renovations , so it will be even better than before. Highly, highly recommend them. Linda and Melissa, great job!

I've had a great experience with Fetch Pet Care and regularly use them to care for my cats while I'm away. They are super responsive, reliable, and professional. Robin is my regular caregiver, and he loves the cats, sends me emails everyday to confirm he was there and give an update, so I am always sure they are cared for.
My experience thus far with Fetch! has been nothing short of excellent. Their customer service is always quick, flexible, and helpful! Their GPS tracking app shows where your dog was walked, updates you on their business and even allows the walker to send pictures. You never wonder if they cut your time short because all of the information is sent to you after every walk. The best part about this service is that I lucked out with my awesome dog walker Crystal. I've used Fetch twice now, and I've been very pleased thus far. It's SUPER easy to schedule. They are great communicators before, during and after the service provided. Care giver meets up to learn the ropes prior to the scheduled visits. It's nice that you can give them instructions (such as recycling or watering plants). When we arrived home from being gone for a week, it's like our cats didn't even notice we were gone. :/ Of course, they're cats. ;) Anyway, great peace of mind knowing they were cared for during our trip. I'd def use Fetch again.
After years of elaborate arrangements to take care of our pets, my neighbor told me about Fetch. Fetch is a godsend. They responded quickly and I was able to get the exact coverage I needed when I needed it. We have used the almost overnight and overnight options. I like that I got to meet our petsitter, Kylee, and that we can ask for her again (and again!). Our dogs are getting lots of walks and personal attention. Our sitter stays in close communication with us and sends lots of pictures, along with the more official emails from Fetch. Easy to reserve, great service. I love Fetch! We have already used them twice, and have scheduled a third. Our dogs are so happy to see our sitter and sad to see her go.
We love our pet care professional Cherry! She provides timiley updates when we are away and truely loves our dog Holden. Fetch is super easy to use and very responsive to our needs, even if it's last minute. I will continue to recommend their services to friends and family.
Veronica was amazing! When she came by to get the key the cats immediately liked her. She sent very detailed texts about the cats while I was gone and also sent photos. It was really nice and made me feel like my cats were in good hands. Also, when I got home I could tell they were still happy and relaxed (they act a little whacky if they don't get enough attention when I'm gone), so I could see that Veronica spent a lot of time with them. Everything was perfect. I would definitely use Fetch again, but unfortunately I'm moving soon.
Fetch! is extremely flexible and conveniant. Every staff member is friendly, helpful and efficient. This is one the best services I have ever received from any company. Last minute plans and need to cancel a walk at 11pm the night before? No problem. I literally got a response to my email and an updated invoice after 10minutes. Even if when our dog was injured and needed specific care the walker was more than happy to help. Just outstanding service all round.
Fetch! was not only amazing with my dog, they came to my rescue in a time of need very quickly! I was out of town and the original person who planned to take my dog out cancelled the day before. I had no one else to let my dog out and a few other companies were unwilling or unable to meet my request in such short notice. Not only did Fetch! come to my rescue and let out my dog, they sent an amazing person who was able to easily coax out my extremely shy old dog and then took her on a long walk and left her with a good scratch and a treat! I will absolutely be using Fetch! again and recommend to everyone!
Sophia provided our family with a great sense of relief. Our plans to travel during the holidays were cancelled at the last minute but we kept the service anyway. Our days were very hectic and it was wonderful to know that the pets had additional love, care, no feedings and fresh litter boxes overlooked during this busy time. Our dog Lucy was a big fan and would watch/wait for her at her scheduled arrival time. Two thumbs up!

We have an indoor/outdoor cat and a couple times a year we go on a weekend trip. C-PUP has always provided great service for our critter and has always been there, even on short notice. They feed our cat, top off or change the water, clean the litter, give some pets and playtime, email us a picture of our cat, and bring our mail and packages inside once a day. They've taken care of our cat when we decided to leave her in the house or outside. They have also kept our garden alive during summer trips by watering for a little extra charge. I would highly recommend C-PUP! We have used their services a couple times a year for the past 5 years or so.

If you are looking for a walker or in-home sitting service, I'll assume that your fur family members are incredibly important to you and you want to make sure they are getting the best care possible. C-PUP provides just that. They are incredibly professional, well-organize, thorough and meticulous when it comes to understanding what your pet needs for care. We have three dogs of various ages, including a senior dog that requires extra-special care and C-PUP is incredibly attentive to all of their different needs. All of her staff have been generous, patient, lovely people who treat us (humans and pets) with great care! A detailed report card is left at each visit outlining the activities our dogs performed, their affect, and notes on the overall visit. We have traveled and used C-PUP for home stays and also as a dog walking service. Our dogs have become so familiar with C-PUP staff that it's as if another family member is with them. C-Pup is fantastic! We had someone stay overnight with our pets while we were gone and she did a great job. Typically when I go away I worry about our pets, but with C-Pup we got frequent updates and I knew they were in good hands. When we arrived home our cats and dogs were well-adjusted and excited to see us. I can't imagine going on vacation and having anyone else stay with our pets. I highly recommend C-Pup.
The team at C-PUP has been taking care of my Golden Retriever, Breeze since we brought her home 4 years ago. While my husband and I worked in full-time jobs during the day, we had multiple scheduled walks for her energy level. During that time, Breeze was so well cared for and loved, just as we would have done if we were there. As I transitioned to full-time work from home, I now call on C-PUP for our overnight sitting needs. When we go out of town, whoever stays with Breeze loves her just as much as we do. They provide detailed notes, pictures/updates and take care of any worries we have while we're away. I would recommend any of their services if you wish for your pet to receive the highest quality of care when you can't do it yourself!
We've been using C-PUP to look after our cats for several years, and we've always had an outstanding experience. We get email updates once or twice while we're away. We arrive home to find a written daily log of feeding, meds, visits, etc. I can recommend them without hesitation.
My husband and I recently moved to the Navy Yard area with our 2 cats. We travel frequently, and finding someone new to care for them was a huge stress for us. We selected Saving Grace because of their reviews, and we have not been disappointed. We have used them on three separate occasions, and all three times, Paul Weiss was the caregiver. He leaves daily notes and will send photos if requested. Our most recent trip was two weeks long, and he watered our plants and freshened the litter box. I've used Saving Grace Petcare for almost a year now to care for my cat while I'm out of town. They truly are a saving grace! I don't know what I would do without a neighborhood petsitting group like this one. Very easy to drop off my keys before leaving town and they take care of everything. We have had wonderful experiences with Saving Grace dogwalking and boarding services. Our dogwalker, Selena, is the best! She is very reliable and leaves us notes each day to let us know how the walk was. She was especially wonderful in working with us on special requests when our senior dog was quite ill. We now have a young dog and she is very patient as he learns his puppy manners! Saving Grace has also been a great service for pet-sitting, even over longer holiday trips! Our pets have always been very well-cared for with SG services! Highly recommend if you have pets in the Capitol Hill area!
I've used Saving Grace for cat sitting for at least the last three years. It's almost always the same woman who comes and visits, and my normally shy tuxedo has developed quite a fondness for her. Great service, can't recommend enough.

I am providing this rating because of Buster's dog walker - Aaron. He is the best! He takes extra time with Buster, he carries him down the block to ensure that he gets a walk rather than taking him out and bringing him right back in. We are fortunate to have Aaron as Buster's walker!
I've been using saving grace for two years now and have never had an issue. The staff are friendly and always leave a helpful note with a summary of the walk. I would recommend them to anyone.
DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR MONEY. The owner Grace is some gross right winger living in the 1950s. She didn't respect my pronouns and mocked instead, saying she "doesn't care".
Saving Grace is fantastic, consistent visits to ensure our kitty is well gives us peace of mind.
I cannot express how happy I am that we found this location to board our puppy!! They were very accommodating and took great care of our little spoiled one. Updated us with constant emails and pictures of how he was doing while our time away. They also provided a complimentary bath and he smells and looks amazing. We definitely will be bringing Leo back for daycare.
So I recently allowed my dog to stay here, this is his third time staying with them. His name is Sevyn and he received pup of the week two weeks in a row they love him and he seems to love staying here. Now I must say the first two times of him staying here I was skeptical about who was watching him and a little disappointed with the lack of communication from the staff. Also I wasn’t even sure if he was given a bath since his stay was over 7 days because he didn’t even smell like he was clean. But anyway his last stay with Southern Oasis seemed to be pleasant. I can’t keep my hands off of him because he smells and feels so good. Shout out to Tammy who helped me through his whole stay. He came out so happy he didn’t even run to me when he got out he ran straight to one of the workers. I don’t know if they are under new management but I would def be glad to bring Sevyn back for another stay! And I think they are very affordable.
We always board our dog here. During Thanksgiving they even gave him a great meal!!! We love using this pet resort.

The location is great for me. I like the layout and believe my dog is taken care of. However, they lack proper administrative management. Be sure to double check your billing and reservations.

When it comes to the safety and security of your larger working breeds, we strongly advise that you "DO NOT" board your pets at the CLINTON location. My wife and I have used this location for a year now and as an experienced handler, these observations are as follows; our pets have gotten out of their kennels while boarded. There's a lack of experienced staffers and improper handling. Management & staffers are inconsistent with their policy and procedures. Management & staffers will cancel your reservations on short notice without proper justification causing a domino effect and inconvenience of personal plans & monies lost for the customers. Management and staffers have required existing customers to schedule their pets in to conduct temperament evaluations "after" the customer has been there for almost a year for the same pets. When speaking with owners, upper level management, and staffers, they are unfamiliar with specific AKC breeds and display unprofessional reluctance on boarding those breeds as a result of their lack of knowledge and that is a major concern. But on a positive note; they have a great facility and the potential is there but management and staff need to be more knowledgeable about the breeds they're potentially boarding so they know how to conduct a proper temperament evaluation during their initial visits "not" after the pets have already been boarded. Management and staff need consistency with organizing their rules, regulations, policy and procedures and not inconvenience the customers in the future.
We love Southern Oasis!! All the staff are so nice, caring and professional. The resort is very clean and the grooming services are excellent and accommodating. Our puppy Zeus love it here. He is always so happy to see everyone when he come in the door. We are so glad we brought our Zeus here!! The owners showed lack of compassion and accountability after my dog was bordered as a healthy 11mos old for 7days and return to me as a sick pup.This business took no accountability instead explaining the cycle of a cold and telling me my dog was the only dog sick out of 100 borders as well as stating "when he left he was not sick so he must have gotten sick at home".
Odrun is the best and very thorough. She was a new sitter recommended and I was nervous; however, I could not have been more pleased with the level of care provided, including all the little extra's she does. I received daily pics showing how happy my paw babes were and how comfortable they were with Odrun. She really pays attention to detail and I was totally comfortable knowing they were in good hands. 🙏😊

Ms. Brazelton is BOMB!!!-Diggity!!! She knows her dogs! She's very astute regarding proper pet care and training (we have a 3 month old puppy). I love being able to leave her cash or cashapp her for services, and she has a steady base of clients who appreciate her services as well. We have even asked her to board our dog during an upcoming trip. She's great!!! Our dog feels comfortable with her, which makes us comfortable leaving him with her when needed. She is reliable, communicative, trustworthy, and awed6!

A very professional pet sitting service. The owner was very helpful in an emergency situation involving a neighbors pet during the late night hours. She was able to take the animal to the animal emergency care center and treated the animal for several days after release from the emergency care.

Yeah, it's a no for me, dawg. I took my dog to Fur-Get Me Not on Monday, December 9 at 3:15 PM for a daycare evaluation. Upon entry, I wasn't greeted particularly warmly by the front desk staff, but they did direct me to the person who would be completing my dog's evaluation. As the staff member, Christopher, who was actually completing my dog's evaluation was friendly and inviting, I did not think too much about the front desk staff. The evaluation cost $25 and it took about 20 minutes. Christopher took my dog to the back and had her meet other dogs and staff members. When the evaluation was over, he informed me that she had passed and answered most of my questions. I asked him what the pricing was for daycare, because it was not listed on the FAQ page that he provided me. He told me he didn't know, but that the front desk staff would be able to answer my question. After wrapping up to the evaluation, I walked over to the front desk to inquire about pricing for daycare. Keep in mind that while this is a full-service dog care facility, it seems that the main service-- or at least one of the most popular services-- that this facility provides is dog daycare. I asked the woman sitting at the desk about pricing. She told me something along the lines of, "we don't have the pricing listed on the brochure, but it is online." I then asked if she could just tell me the pricing. (I'm literally standing at the front desk at this point where they are supposed to answer questions about their services-- wouldn't you just tell me the price instead of directing me to go look it up for myself?!) She then responds "for what?!" with an mistakable air of annoyance. Now, I would expect a front desk staff member to say something like, "sure, for which service?" The way she phrased her question seems like I was bothering her. I responded "for daycare" and then, she said "well let me just pull up the website and look..." The entire interaction was odd, like she was doing me a favor by providing pertinent info about the business at which she works. Also, why there isn't signage with the pricing for daycare at the front desk, who knows? I do know one thing though: if you act like I'm bothering you by asking you to do things within the scope of your job, I won't bother to spend my coins.
My dog loves it here! He always has the best day and is exhausted when he gets home lol. I love that they do cute activities for the holidays, make training recommendations when needed, and have pretty much everything you need. I love how they divide the groups based on size, temperament, etc, because our last daycare just put all dogs together in one big group, which was overstimulating for him at times. I can’t recommend them enough and every staff member has been SO sweet and helpful.
I can't say enough good things about the dog training classes here! Before we started training, my dog was extremely reactive to other dogs, making walks and outings very stressful. After attending Julie’s and Malia’s classes, I've seen such a transformation in my dog's behavior. Julie and Malia are incredibly patient and knowledgeable, and they gave me the tools I needed to help my dog stay calm and focused, even around other dogs. My dog is able to attend daycare without any behavior issues and even plays with other dogs. She is still introverted and barks from time to time, but it’s much more manageable now. On top of that, my dog has always been very fearful of loud noises, which made everyday situations challenging, especially living in the city with all trains, airplanes, and traffic. Thanks to the confidence-building exercises we learned, I've noticed a huge improvement in how she handles her fears. She’s still afraid of thunderstorms and car rides though. However, the most important lessons I learned from the classes are how to identify my dog’s triggers and knowing how to best support her through those challenges. It’s made our bond much stronger now.
I am so grateful to the whole team at Fur-Get Me Not for the amazing care that my dogs have received there. We’ve done training, daycare, and boarding, and always had a great experience. Definitely recommend.
I have a dog, Ari, with behavioral and medical issues, specifically the canine version of ADHD (low frustration tolerance, poor impulse control, the attention span of a space cadet), anxiety and diabetes insipidus, which exacerbated his anxiety. When Ari was a pup, his behavior got so bad that I considered giving him back to his rescue but was nervous he'd bite a less understanding person and be put down. (He's a cattle dog. They nip. He was nipping A LOT with little inhibition.) While I was waiting to get an appointment with ABWC, we started doing 1:1 training at Fur-Get Me Not (FMN), and then moved to impulse control classes, drastically improving his behavior, which proper medication helped support. Anyway... I moved Ari to FMN daycare after I noticed how upset he was being dropped off at our last daycare — and after having to extract from staff that he was having ADHD-typical "toddler meltdowns" during the day from overstimulation, during which he'd bark and nip, so he'd end up in "time out" for large portions of the day. (Why didn't they tell me!?) FMN daycare's structured environment with a midday treat and the option to add on the 1:1 attention time Ari needs to have a lower anxiety experience make all the difference. With their detailed report cards, I know if he needs more X or less Y to achieve his best behavior. And midday snuggles help him a lot. Highly recommend!
I first came across furget-me-not training when I was looking for fun classes my dog and I could take on the weekends. My interest was piqued at their Reactive Dogs classes, since I knew it took a special type of understanding and expertise to work with reactive dogs. So I signed up my dog, Arnold, him being a reactive dog. Over the course of the 6 weeks, we were able to feel really reassured that our years of training and work was going in the right direction. I was really appreciative of how patient, kind, and knowledgeable Juliet and Malia were during each class. They were also flexible and attentive to each student - when they saw Arnold was already comfortable with some skills, they would give us helpful tips on how to make it more challenging or purposefully give us opportunities to challenge Arnold a bit more. We were more than happy to practice some skills we already knew in a live classroom AND learn new ones with other dogs in a controlled environment. The tools Juliet and Malia gave us are now engrained in us, and I can genuinely say that it has helped Arnold improve in just 6 short weeks - I haven’t seen this rate of improvement in him over the YEARS we have been practicing on our own. Just the other week, he had absolute no reaction to people cleaning our home, when 6 weeks ago he was barking his head off at them. I feel much more confident in my skills as Arnold’s mom and handler, and I also feel closer and more understanding of my dog. I have been recommending furget-me-not training to several friends, and I stand by it. They know their stuff. I can’t wait to come back for Reactive 2 and explore the other classes that can really help us and Arnold learn the tools and skills that will help him shine and be the best version of himself no matter the challenge! I love that when I drop my puppy off for daycare, her tail starts wagging before I even park the car. The staff greets her by name with lots of pets and attention. She comes home a tired and happy pup. The staff has been very flexible, accommodating and helpful. I definitely recommend this daycare to others.
Not really feasible. We dropped our Huskey here a couple of times, but one employee insisted that we only only bring him on weekends simply because he barked too much at pickup times. This was despite our dog getting stellar behavior comments from the other employees. We explained that he was vocal because it is a standard huskey characteristic, but he simply did not like our dog. Upon further questioning, we determined that he did not even read the directions we left with our dog and did not even know the dog's gender despite multiple corrections. Weekend daycare is useless to us and we have no time for flaky sensitive employees. We use the place down the road now.
In an area with so many daycare/boarding options I can imagine its difficult to compete however Fur-Get Me Not has won us over. Two months of day care, a full week of boarding, and a great consultation experience. Its team is always open to questions we may have and its nice to see a variety of interactive toys locally. I truly believe the environment here has helped our younger dog come out of her shell and be more social. Highly recommend.
I'm new to the area and found Fur Get Me Not through a Google search and I have had a wonderful experience so far! They have been very good to my dog and I really appreciate how much they communicate with dog owners. I think if you're looking for a place that will make you feel better about leaving your dog for daycare or boarding, this is the place.
I wanted to take a minute to give Dogma the recognition they deserve. My puppy has been a regular here since I started a new job in office. I was so nervous to leave him at daycare, worried he’d be scared or stressed. Now, when we drop him off, all the attendants recognize him! He doesn’t even look back at me — he sprints into the play yards for a day of fun with his dog and human friends. I have full trust in the folks working here to take the best care of my dog. He knows it’s a dogma day when we’re around the corner and squeaks with happiness and excitement until he’s dropped off and out of the car. I can tell by his body language how much he loves it here!! Staff is very mindful of making sure the dogs are cool on hot days, the dogs get AC breaks and water and kiddie pools outside. I love that they have the outside yard, too. I’ve never liked the idea of daycares where dogs have to do their business on the floor inside. Dogma is very mindful of making sure dogs have all vaccinations as new members, and provided a full readout of his first day. The best part is that puppy is so tired after a day full of Dogma fun that I get also to relax after work :) Worth every penny. Never going anywhere else!
We love Dogma! Niko (my 6 year old pup) has been attending Dogma since he was 6 months old. Some of the staff have been there for as long as we’ve been attending. They greet my dog by name, have strict cleaning policies, are reasonably priced for the quality of service they provide, and have really fun social events and contests for the humans and dogs. My dog loves going here. He jumps out of the car as soon as we arrive. We no longer live in Navy Yard. In fact, we live 40 minutes away in Upper NW, but I still make the drive to Dogma because I trust them so much. 5/5 stars. Just go already!
My pup Jack has been coming to Dog-Ma for the last 6 years. He knows his schedule and alerts me when it’s time to go 😂. Each time we enter, Jack leads me to the gate where he is warmly greeted by AMAZING and DEDICATED members of the Dog-Ma team. Jack has the most fun and comes home exhausted. I never worry or stress because I know he is in good hands! I don’t know what I would do without Dog-Ma! Thank you for all you do for my boy!
Dogma is wonderful! Our 2 GSPs (Piper and Dakota) always come home tired and happy, they never smell bad, and are always excited to go in when we pull up at the gate. Dogma posts photos of the dogs online so we can check in and ensure the girls are having fun. We would recommend this daycare to our friends for sure!
My vizsla, Houdini, LOVES Dog-Ma. He's always thrilled to go and is definitely more exhausted than when he goes to other daycares that are indoors. I also love that they have grooming services when needed and have an online scheduling platform. My two wishes...Dog-Ma closes at 7pm on week nights (I wish they were open until 8pm) and I also wish they had discounted packages.
Dog-ma is great! I know our dog is in safe hands when she stays at Dogma. I hate leaving our pup behind when we travel, but it’s nice to feel at ease when she’s with folks who care about her. Much of the staff has worked at dogma for a while - which is incredible for this field. Run, don’t walk your dog to Dogma!
Dogma has been our dog Coco's home away from home. She is so excited to spend her day(s) at Dogma. Service goes above and beyond, including emailing me when Coco had a possible ear infection and helping to administer medication while we were out of town. We were so blessed to find such a great caregiver!
We love Dog-Ma! They took excellent care of our Cavalier King Charles all the way to his senior years and we always trusted them. Our Cavalier passed away a few years ago and we recently brought home a new dog (Terrier mix/rescue) - we knew right away we would be taking our new guy to Dog-Ma for daycare and boarding because of our previous great experiences and they did not disappoint. We have sent our new guy for both daycare and boarding. They have been great with communicating with us about his needs. We trust them implicitly with our little guy and he loves it there too! Just like our previous dog (who they still remember!), he runs right in with no hesitation and is excited to play. As a plus, Mr. High Energy is ready for a nap when he gets home!
We have been taking Kai to Dogma since the end of May. He absolutely loves it. He loves water, so he gets in their pool and swims around. He gets home super tired, then we know he has a good time there. We will continue to take Kai there and will definitely recommend others to join.

We contacted Pawwws Aboard to see if they were able/willing to watch a mini pig. Jazmin stated she had never done it but was willing to try. She came to meet him and we all felt comfortable so we booked her for 2 visits a day while we were away. She has fair pricing with multiple ways to pay. She was very communicative while we were away and sent pictures, videos, and updates during each visit. We felt at ease knowing she was there taking care of our pig. Will definitely use Pawwws Aboard again for future trips if she’s available
She is an awesome puppy sitter!! I will definitely be using her the next time my husband and I go on vacation! She sent us videos everyday for updates on our little one and she was always happy and playing. She showed our Frenchie lots of love and attention. I was very nervous about leaving her but she assured me that she was in good hands and I had nothing to worry about! She has a forever client here!
Jaz has been amazing! Pups and I moved to Baltimore and were so lucky to have found her! Takes great care and they adore her. I have a pup that needs meds twice a day, She is very responsible and I can trust her to be on time. I travel a lot for work, wouldn’t know what to do without her!
Jazmin is absolutely amazing!! She welcomed my baby boy into her home and he loved every visit. He adjusted well and surprised me with how well he did with the other dogs in her care. I had a pause in my need for a pet sitter during the past year. We just did a camping trip and needed to board our fur babies. Even though we moved further away from Jazmin, I thought of her first. She responded quickly that she had an opening and during our trip she sent pictures of Emma playing with a toy and Lingling playing with the puppy, Beauty. I knew they were in good hands!
