Pet Gals were absolutely awesome. This is the first time we have left our little boy Avery for a few days and Kevin was stellar! Thank you so much. We will be calling again soon.
The Pet Gal is, and will continue to be, my go-to pet sitter. They've taken care of my cats several times now while I'm on trips or just out for a weekend and they nail it every time. The price is right and the sitters are reliable. They let you know when they arrive, when they're done, and send lots of pics and updates along the way. Everything including scheduling, messaging, payments, etc... can be done through their online portal which is super convenient. Definitely recommend!
I’ve used pet gal twice now and I have been extremely pleased with their services! They send worded updates along with pictures from their visits, which is something I look forward to viewing when I’m on vacation. They are awesome!
Can’t believe how lucky we are to have found the Pet Gal to care for our elderly dog. They were absolutely amazing. Best dog sitting service we’ve ever used. Great caring professionals - so sweet and kind to our pup. And fantastic communication with very reasonable pricing. Highly recommend them for all your pet sitting needs.
I recently started using The Pet Gal and I was very impressed with them. From the initial meet and greet to the actual cat sitting, it’s clear they really do care about fur babies. Kevin was my cat sitter and he was exceptional. His updates were very personalized and he went above and beyond. Traveling is less stressful knowing my babies are in such good hands.
Excellent care & communication for my house & young cat while away for 2.5 weeks. Highly recommended and will definitely use them again.
Our Pet Guy named Kevin was amazing. He kept us updated daily with photos on our babies, dog & cat, while we were away. Kevin did such a wonderful job with my dog especially; as he is a very nervous boy but Kevin was able to help my dog overcome his nervousness. I 100% recommend this company.
We recently returned from a ten week RV vacation and PG took great care of our babies while we were gone! I had daily communication with them, including pictures and updates on the cats and the fish! One of the cats had a medical situation requiring vet care, and they transported him to and from the vet office twice! They treated them as if they were their own cats and I couldn’t be happier with this group!!!.
I never worry about my fur babies when I am out of town! The carers at Pet Gal take such good care of them. They get to know my dogs and their personalities. I love how many pictures I get, they include pictures of them getting loved and playing. Once one of my dogs had stomach trouble, they quickly reached out and offered to stop by later to check on her. I can't recommend Pet Gal enough! So glad I found them!
Tessa was fantastic with my dog. We were able to do a meet a greet so my dog knew who was coming to walk him. The reports and check ins were nice to know when the service started and how it went.
Amie is amazing! She took care of my doggies one of which is an older dog who has separation anxiety. She gave him his heart meds and their treats! It was a good sign when she took the leashes from me they didn’t even look back. They were comfortable and absolutely loved it there! I totally recommend Amie with your dogs and I know mine will be back 😊
My furry babies had sooo much fun at Amie’s. She is extremely professional reliable and loves our furry babies as if they are her own we have used her many times and will continue to use her as long as we own for baby dogs. Amie is a wonderful lady, we love her as a family member💕💕💕 …
Amie did a great job taking care of our sweet Gypsy. We just moved here and we're going out of town for the holiday. She sent pictures when we asked and we a great communicator. We will definitely be using her again!
I just love taking my fur baby to Amie’s at home pet care she has such a beautiful heart amazing spirit. She always makes you feel welcome. I really enjoyed taking dog to her she is an amazing person. My dog absolutely loves her so much very well taken care of. She has fun time play time, I’m always gonna keep on coming back to her ❤️❤️❤️❤️🐾🐾🐾
Our fur babies were very loved on and spoiled. They loved staying here and we loved seeing how happy they were. We loved how great the communication was throughout the whole boarding process. We were kept up to date on how our dogs were doing and felt at ease knowing they were well cared for. Our boys will definitely be back!
We left our fur baby for the first time ever. But he did really well and Amie send updates. (Picture below) Definitely will be using her services again sooner rather than later.
Amie’s at home pet care was AMAZING! They were friendly, knowledgeable, and lovely! Our pup loved his time there and they gave us beautiful photo updates. Can’t ask for a better holiday boarding experience! They were also super quick to respond to us, considering the holiday craziness we were very fortunate to get a slot. (Bonus is the two adorable Pomeranians)
We've been taking our little buddy to Amie's and he has an absolute blast while he's there. Amie even sent us some photos (see below) of his stays! He always is tired and ready for a nap after a day at daycare. So worth it!
Amie is very professional and kind. Also she offers many other services and have a very good space. She’s organized and sends updates with pictures. Dogs (and cats) are never alone. Staff is there 24/7. It’s her home. My dog is always happy there.
We just can't say enough about the AMAZING service and care Amie gives our big ol' Wally!! Recently we needed to have Wally stay with Amie and ended up having to extend his visit their 3 different times!! Amie could not have been more cooperative, patient and understanding during a stressful time. Knowing our anxiety ridden Wally was in the best hands possible took a huge weight off our shoulders!!!
Our pup loves this place. They keep us updated on his wellbeing. This is a clean well ran boarding facility. We’ve used them in the past and will definitely be taking our furry buddy there again. Thank you to the owner and staff.
My family and I are eternally grateful to Mrs. Anne and her amazing staff at Countryside Pet Resort. After last weeks tornados in Round Rock, we were left with no home and our fur(less) babies in desperate need for a place to stay while we prepared for what is sure to be a long journey ahead. Thank you for keeping them safe and giving is a chance to get organized.
Called to book a boarding for my pup. She asked what the breed was. Being honest, she's got a few breed, Staffordshire terrier being one of them. "We don't accept pit bulls." What a flipping joke. People like this are part of the problem when it comes to pit bulls. There are a TON of mixed breeds that have "pit bull" in them. You're choosing to turn away a lot of good dogs for this ridiculous stereotype. ALL dogs are capable of what pit bulls are so often blamed for. It's the human not the dog. You are a great example. Happy to avoid this place.
Absolutely love Countryside Pet Resort. They have taken care of my German Shepherd several times for 2 - 5 nights at a time... Bottom line I trust the staff, and my dog has excellent care from the staff.
Unfortunately had some bad experiences with this pet boarding. Entirely with the owner. The assistant I had the pleasure of speaking with was great though and is not included in this review. The owner was strangely rude on the phone and in person and I’m still not sure what brought it on. I saw her yelling at some of the boarded dogs very aggressively. She was very displeased we asked to see the back room where they kept the dogs. I am truly not that picky when it comes to finding a place to board my dog. However, friendliness and animal-skills are key and I can say the owner did not have either. The place seemed clean at least and my dog was okay when I picked him up. Additionally, I thought it was extremely strange (and a big red flag) that you need to sign a disclaimer that you won’t leave bad reviews when you board with them. That’s not how to get people to not leave bad reviews. It comes from providing good trustworthy service. Seems telling that they’ve had issues in the past.
They are courteous, the resort is clean, my fur babies are always happy to go and never fearful! Trust them completely with my babies! ❤️❤️❤️
My pup has separation anxiety from us but is always happy to go with one of the employees when it’s time to drop her off! Of course she is ready to come home and pulls them down the hall to get back to us :) We have been overall very happy with Countryside and highly recommend them!
I boarded my pup at Countryside for a week and had nothing but positive experiences with Anne and her staff! The place doesn't look super nice from the outside and the lobby is pretty messy (kinda looks like they're doing some renovations), but my dog had a great time! He got individual playtime everyday, had access to the outdoor patio area of his kennel the whole time, and came home super tired and happy! The prices were the best I could find for the central Texas area and I like that the place is smaller so I know my dog was genuinely cared for unlike at some large kennels where they keep 100's of dogs at once. I highly recommend Countryside if you want an affordable place to board your dog!
Your pets are always a priority here and I never have to worry about picking them up in poor condition or with unexpected expenses. Ann and team ALWAYS do a fantastic job with our pups and it's further evidenced with the excitement they have once we get there!
I’ve boarded my doodle 3 times now. No issues. The team is very nice. They have the sweetest secretary cat wondering around the front which I thought was cute. Just be mindful that if you pick up on Sundays they’ll charge you an extra night. Will be returning.
Otto our boxer recently stayed with Shady Acres over the weekend while we were out of town and he had a great time! We are so thankful Shady Acres was able to accommodate our last minute request to board him. We will definitely be back soon for daycare and more boarding! They made the process so easy and helped us during a very stressful time considering our prior boarding facility canceled our reservation 4 days before our trip, at no fault of our own after 11 years of sending multiple dogs there. We are super thankful we found a new and safe environment for Otto to play and stay! He came home exhausted and super clean! Thank you Shady Acres!
We absolutely loved our experience with Shady acres pet Ranch. We dropped our German Shepherd off for a three week training with Ashleigh and he came back a new dog. He’s doing wonderful at home. Ashleigh sent us multiple updates per week as well as pictures and videos of his training progress. We were able to visit and practice training with him in between, he really enjoyed their dog pool and we got to see what he was learning in real time. Would highly recommend!
Love this place, and more importantly my golden comes back home happy every time he’s stayed here. I used to board Simba at Action Pack in Round Rock, but they got too greedy for me, their staff changed too often and their service went to d0g$. I am so glad I found an even better environment for a competitive price and within 10 mins drive from home. Shady acres as long as Simba comes back with a smile, you have a loyal customer in me 🙏🙏🙏
My dog had diarrhea when taken home. Based on comments of staff my pet appeared as if she was going to snap at other dogs. My pet goes to the dog park and never has a problem. I then asked if my dog had outside time and staff indicated they did the best they could. When picking up my pet it took staff 20 minutes to find her. Very scary. This was a 6 day boarding stay. Provided 6 bags of food and they returned 4. Not impressed.
We just had our first playtime at Shady Acres and Peanut Butter LOVED it! He was SO HAPPY when I picked him up and he was SO TIRED in the evening after a long day of playing with new pup-friends. I really liked the daily sheet that came home with him, too! We are new in town and are so happy to find a place like Shady Acres for our pup. We will definitely be regulars!
Non favorable admin changes. I boarded my dogs several times in this facility and I was always happy until this time. They usually fed them separately at no cost and this time they charged us an additional fee which was not in the first quote or on its website. They told me when I was there ready to go to the airport. What option do you have on that moment? Secondly, they used to send a full report about their interactions and behavior during their stay but this time the card was updated the date they arrived and with less information. How do I know how they were during the whole stay? In addition, there were no post on IG, no picture no web cam working. For the amount they charge, I would expect to know how my dogs were. The only reason I would come back is because I had good experience in the past and I just wish this new administration takes notice that what put them in business is the good service they used to have. If you are a frequent client, be aware of these greedy changes.
2016 - 2018: We average a week several times a year. They love it. Also, and this so adorable, they give you a report card. I love that and I send it to my friends and family. They also have grooming. I have them bathe my dogs on the last day. The staff is very friendly and are genuinely interested in the dogs. They don’t have a lot of turn over, so when we drop them off our dogs recognize the staff. I feel totally secure about their well-being and happiness. 2018 - 2021: Sadly one of our dogs, Bear, got hit by a car and passed away. Riley took it really hard. About a week later we traveled and left Riley with them. I felt terrible about it, but they sent me photos of him having fun. I very much appreciated their thoughtfulness. We’ve boarded Riley many times since. 2021 - present: I’ve had good luck being able to board him kinda last minute, but I’m sure to book him as soon as I know our plans. I’ve even booked him months in advance.
Great service and care. My dog has a blast every time he's at Shady Acres. You can tell how the staff takes care of pets like they're their own. I've been taking my fur baby here for the last two years and we keep coming back! Highly recommended!
This place is amazing! Our dog loves going here and the staff takes great care of the dogs. Also, make sure to schedule ahead of time because they book up fast!
Our dogs are always eager to get into the play yards when we drop them off. No doodle long stares or anxiety, just pulling toward the door to go find friends. They come home with a bath and sleep the first 2 days-a sure sign that they were well played out!
Camp Bow Wow should have an emphasis on WOW!!!I requested that our Pet, Rosie be placed next to her cousin, Thor. Camp Bow Wow not only honored this request, but they also allow them both to play together! What a thrill it was to see them play together. The Grooming Services was superlative! Rosie not only looks happy, but she also looks superb. It was an absolute treat to have Rosie groomed and looking so great!!! Thank You!!!!! I will definitely be back to have Rosie groomed again.
My babies LOVE camp bow wow !!!! My two VERY high energy shepherds go every day. They are worn out when they come home it’s great exercise for them !!! We also LOVE all the different activities and photo opportunities they have for the pups!
Bandit and Belle always have a great time at Camp Bow Wow Hutto! They’re always very happy and very tired after hours of playing at camp! The staff is always friendly and welcoming when we drop off and pick up our pups. We will always use Camp Bow Wow Hutto over any other dog boarding and day care, they’re the best!
My dog loves the Hutto CBW family. He’s a very shy, timid dog - who needs a lot of time to warm up to people. They welcomed him with open arms, and accommodated to our needs. I get anxious leaving him places, but every time he stayed here - I knew he was getting all the love he could ever need. And he comes back home exhausted, every time! This team goes above and beyond. The staff is so nice, personable and attentive. They’ll learn your dog by name, and check in on how they are doing. And your pup will DRAG you inside tail wagging.
We have boarded our dog at Camp Bow Wow Hutto on 6 different occasions since May 2023. We have always picked up a healthy, clean, and happy dog until her last stay for over the July 4th week. First, Lacey had a puncture wound on her back that had never been seen by or properly taken care of by the staff. Besides the wound, Lacey was infested with fleas!! She was flea free when we dropped her off and she was at Camp Bow Wow for 10 days. I sent an email to Camp Bow Wow and explained our concern and disappointment. I also wanted to let them know about the fleas so they could contact the other dog owners that were there at the same time (June 28th through July 8th and mainly in Yard 2) to see if they were having the same issue. It took us about 10 days to get rid of them. Medication from the vet, flea bath at groomers, baths at home, and numerous vacuum jobs and laundry. I'm only writing this review because of the phone call I received from the manager. She was defensive and kept repeating that they had several dogs that week and they did the best they can do. I inquired about the fleas and her response was, we don't have fleas because we don't have grass. She then said that Lacey must have picked them up after she left. Lacey was there for 10 days, road home in the car and then slept all day in the house. When I got home from work, she had several fleas all over her. I ended the call with saying that this if very disappointing. We will not be taking Lacey back to Camp Bow Wow and I hope this review helps any dog owners that had similar experiences. This call could have been handled professionally and with a little customer service. Acknowledge what the customer is saying, don't be defensive and blame too many dogs. If there are too many dogs, then don't accept that many at one time. Lastly, since we were repeat customers, maybe offer a flea bath and don't just throw it back in the customers face that the dog picked it up in hours outside the facility when she had been there for 10 days. Disappointing.
Sasha girl loves Camp Bow Wow Hutto! Love that I can watching her have fun! Plus, it helps her chill out and gives me a little break. I love knowing that she’s safe and living her best life!
Camp Bow Wow.... What can I say? Other doggie daycares should be "bowing" their heads in comparison. As soon as you walk through the door of this brand new establishment you and your pup (possibly pup first) are greeted by the most loving, well - trained staff one could bark for. Your furry family member is interviewed for personality traits to find the best playgroup fit for him. Once their camp counselor has all the necessary information your furry family member can be taken back and introduced to their brew furry friends. The day is spent playing with their new pack of friends and given love and attention by staff members. While you are away, you can relax. If you miss your baby's fuzzy face or just wish you could see what those little paws are doing to keep busy, rest assured! Your wish just came true! You can always be "Snoopy" and watch what is going on behind the scenes on Camp Bow Wow's mobile app. Your dog will be a star on the big screen. There are so many video cameras set up in the resort. You'll never be able to put your phone down! There are so many options available for your pups pleasure. He'll be BEGGING to come back after the first visit!! Please be sure to give me a thumbs up. It's always nice to see if people enjoy my reviews.
My dog loves this place! We've been taking him for almost a full year, and he still wags his tail on his way in. They do fun photo shoots with the dogs and are very creative when it comes to their activities. I enjoy being able to make sure my dog is doing okay on the Webcams, and they offer grooming services, which is a plus. Reservation is easy to do through the app, and I have been able to get same day reservations too by calling.
My pug Harley always enjoys his stay at C.B.W. The video cameras allow me to check in on him while he is camping.
I brought my Standard Poodle in for a full groom today. When I got there the sweet young lady behind the counter asked if I wanted her nails trimmed. I told her I thought it was always done with grooming. Weird. 11 years and I've never been asked that. Apparently here, it's an Ala cart system. Everything is extra. I said yes to nails and ears which have always been part of every groom. ( cleaned and hair pulled) . When I went to pick her up just a few hours later, her feet weren't trimmed, meaning she was still walking on hair. Her face was not given a close shave like a normal poodle cut, her private area hadn't been trimmed at all. Long hair still hanging where she pees. Gross. Hair puffs that I thought just landed on her from being cut, were still attached. Tummy wasnt trimmed neatly. She simply missed all the details. Then I got home and looked at her ears. They were not even touched! Not cleaned, didn't pull the hair. They still had dirt on them! Nothing except cut them short, which I asked them NOT to do. I really think the very nice grooming lady did the best she could but it wasn't good. I'm not super mad at her. I'm a little upset that the 3 ladies working there, as nice as they were, and they were very nice, let a dog leave the place looking like she looked. Maybe the groomer was having a bad day, maybe she is a new groomer. I don't know. It was just a halfass job. Was it better than I can do? Absolutely! Im also not a groomer. But it wasn't worth what I paid. So I thought I'd call and say my peace. I don't normally call and complain ( never had to) but the ears not being touched was the last straw. So I called and spoke to a super nice lady who said she was super sorry and said she'd get the manager to call me as she didn't have the authority to fix the problem. I said ok. She asked what id like done to fix the problem and I told her that i tought half of the amount charged was fair but whatever yall decide is fine because I gave the groomer a second change to fix what I initially saw. She did ok on the body but not great. The GM, who's name I probably forgot on purpose, was so rude and nasty. She said "We have a policy not to give refunds but I can deactivate your account so you don't have to come back." I said "Uhhh, yeah. You should probably do that." Like I'd ever go back to that place. All the ladies behind the counter and the groomer were very nice but that General Manager needs to take some manners lessons! She was defensive and just rude! Horrible attitude! She really pissed me off. So hey, General Manager, when you read this don't bother saying , (like I read on another review) Oh hey, I found you and deactivated your account so you don't have to come here anymore. Please believe me, you are the reason I'm not coming back. The groomer can hone her skills but you don't have the common courtesy to be even a little bit nice. You might want to check your crappy attitude at the door when you go to work. No one wants to hear it. I have pics but I'm not sure how to put them on this review . I hate that but I have them.
We ❤️ Fur Your Pets! Erica and Cody are the best, not only at taking care of your furkids, but genuinely caring for your pets. They came out today to help us look for our dog who had gotten out this morning; I was near tears when they offered to stop by and look for him. We found him and it just cements my 100% trust in Erica and Cody in caring for our dog, Petey, every day.
My fur baby loves Erica and Cody staycations. Our bunny also gets pampered by home visits when we’re away. All of our trips are worry-free knowing our pets are well taken care of. Updated pics throughout the stay shows Luna always having a blast!!
As a new dog owner and searching for a sitter to care for my dog,’it was a long and difficult process. Places like hotels would just make my dog think I abandoned him. But, I found Fur Pets and spoke with them about my dog’s anxieties. A meet up was scheduled and they knew exactly how to approach my dog. Consistent bi-weekly walks are scheduled and when we went out of town for a week, my dog was walked and looked in on daily with no problems. Now he returns home from his walks happy and proud of himself! Definitely, would recommend this service for pet sitting.
I have used Fur Your Pets, Erica, twice now and each time I remind myself to write a review! Well, the first time I met Erica, she came to the house to meet my Basset Hound and Shih Tzu - I have never seen Sam, the Basset take to someone outside his family so quickly, he absolutely LOVES Erica. We have also dubbed her the "Sam Whisperer" as she can get him to take medicine like no one else!! (lol). Erica stayed at the house for a weekend that I had to go out of town. She sent pictures often and when I came home, the two fur family members were so relaxed and happy! Well, Sam, was sad that she left, but that's good, too! Erica is very, very trustworthy and takes great care of animals. She even did other things like water the plants outside and things like that! It was wonderful. It's the very first time I had someone in my home for a weekend to watch the dogs that wasn't family and it was absolutely no issue at all. :) The second time was when I had to go out of town just for the day and it was kind of last minute, but Erica came through!! Sam was so happy to see her as well. My Shih Tzu also loves her. Anyway, I just have to tell you all that I would trust Erica in my home, with my pets any time!!! She is absolutely wonderful! Update - I still use Fur Your Pets and Erica - she is family to my Bassett Hound, Shih Tzu, and 2 very large cats... they love her!!!
Can't say enough good stuff about these guys. I recently needed last minute boarding for my pup, Luca. Fur Your Pets really came through. Erica and Cody were warm, accommodating and really took great care of my baby. They communicated with me, sent photos and made sure my pup had fun and I had peace of mind. I highly recommend and will 100% use them again.
We’ve had the pleasure of knowing our four-legged babies are in good hands with Fur Your Pets for almost 10 years now. I only trust Erica & Cody to provide the best possible care while we’re away. You can rest assured they will take great care of your pets!
The absolute best! We get pictures at every visit and updates. They take our packages in. Easy to schedule, almost always available when we need it. Our older dog needed medication and the occasional accident and they were great with dealing with that. Can’t say enough great things about them. It’s super hard to trust your home and pet to someone and when we found them it was such a huge weight off us to have someone we trust.
My husband & I went away for a one week vacation and left our two dogs with Erica and Cody. We received daily updates with pictures and our fur babies were well taken care of. We plan on using them again in the future. Both of our pups loved their stay and I highly recommend Fur Your Pets to anyone looking for trust worthy people to watch your fur babies.
Fur your pets is the most professional and trustworthy pet sitters you will ever find. I went through a ton of sitters and some were fine, some were awful, but Fur your pets was way above what anyone could expect. I felt very comfortable leaving my babies with Erica snd entrusting her with my house. I have never been able to feel totally comfortable leaving my pups with anyone. With Fur your pets, I literally felt zero worry. I didn’t think this could ever happen or that a company like this even existed… but it does. My dogs were happy, loved and snuggled. The directions I gave were followed perfectly ( even though we don’t expect perfection) and Erica was great at dealing with my elderly dog who needed meds and special considerations. I got lots of pics of my happy smiling dogs. Professional, compassionate, communicative, reliable and so so easy to work with. Erica was extremely observant and asked about any behavior in the dogs that she thought might be different than usual. My experience was 100% perfect. I feel like this is the holy grail of dog sitters, and… they are just really nice humans too.
Erica offered me great peace of mind through my two-week vacation. I have an old cat, Cyril, who needs daily medication. A few weeks before my trip, he had some appetite issues and had his dosage upped to twice a day. I'm always a bit anxious to leave Cyril for a long period of time, and especially so under the circumstances. With Erica, I quickly felt comfortable knowing that Cyril was being well looked after. During each pop-in visit, she was perceptive in monitoring his food intake and sent me many pictures so I could see how he was feeling every day. We worked together to adjust the details of his care based on what she was noticing. Erica also worked to make a genuine connection with Cyril, and within a week, my shy kitty went from seeing her as the scary meds lady to giving her his belly to rub. (Pictures from her last visit are attached!) I came home to find that my skinny boy had even successfully gained weight under Erica's care! I couldn't be happier about the care Cyril received while I was gone. I highly recommend Erica @ Fur Your Pets.
My experience with Laurel's Leash has been amazing. Her knowledge about dogs & their behavior is impressive and she's extremely personable & responsive. Both of my dogs have very different personalities & she was able to work with them individually with a variety of techniques to get the desired outcome with each. We also had some initial challenges with introducing a new puppy to our older dog & Laurel helped tremendously with their interactions as well as easing my mind during the process. I've also used Laurel's Leash for dog sitting a number of times and it's always been a great experience. 100% Recommend Laurel for any dog training or care needs.
I love Laurel's Leash. I know whenever I leave my little dog with Laurel she will be looked after, kept happy and loved. Laurel is very good at what she does and the dogs thrive with her. She is an excellent dog trainer and is an even better people trainer. I am able to work with my dog with Laurel's advice and some of her bad habits have been replaced with good behaviors. I enjoy the frequent pictures Laurel posts on Facebook. It is a handy way for me to check-in. The communication is very good and I have come to trust that I don't need worry when I'm away.
Laurel has been a lifesaver for our family. We first reached out to Laurel's Leash and The Dog House barding for training advice for our puppy. With Laurel's guidance two first time dog owners managed to raise a well behaved and fun loving puppy. When we leave town the Dog House is the only place we trust to take care of our pup. They send us regular updates and photos - which is super helpful when you're far away and missing your dog. Laurel treats our dog like a member of her family! The Dog House is the only place I trust to take care of our dog.
Laurel is an amazing dog trainer - and she's hilarious and fun to boot! Laurel has helped me with my Cairn Terrier, Teddy, who has some leash reactivity issues. With her help, he's getting to the point where he's almost like a "normal" dog when we take him for walks, haha. We've also some agility training with Laurel and our mini Aussie, Beau, and we've had both the dogs board with her for short time periods. Laurel's Leash is great!
I have a petite 13 yr old boxer who Laurel watch one weekend in October of 2018. As soon as we first walked into the door we were greeter with a huge smile and warm welcome. My dog was instantly comfortable and Laurel’s friendly and positive energy was contagious. Received regular updates on my pet while in her care which made me feel relaxed that my pooch was not only in good care but was also being spoiled with extra pats and attention. Giving Laurel’s Leash 5 stars based on: 1.) attentive and friendly service 2.) winning energy - Laurel’s excitement and love of pets is contagious! Your pets will smile in her care and so will you! 3.) gold standard for pet sitting service
I've known Laurel for a long time and she is just excellent with my two big dogs. They just love her! Each dog has a different personality and she knows how to adjust to each personality. Laurel just house sat for me for about ten days and the house was just like I had left it. I highly recommend Laurel for all of your training and house sitting needs. Bob Vehon
Laurel’s Leash is a wonderful place for my Border Collie. She’s great about sending pictures or videos of the fun time my dog is having. She is so knowledgeable of the various breeds and what their personalities are like. I have learned so much from her about obedience. She genuinely loves dogs and taking care of them!
Laurel was a WEALTH of knowledge! I have a 2 year old chiweenie that I adopted who has zero training. Laurel not only helped me with ideas but she also explained the whys behind dog behavior! It was so helpful! I feel very confident now in my path towards training my very anxious dog and highly recommend Laurel!!
Great, reliable dog care! It's such a relief to be able to go on vacation knowing that my dogs are in good hands and having a great time. We originally used Laurel for training and walking a few years ago, and are so excited that she offers boarding too.
There is so much comfort knowing both my girls are always very well taken care of when we drop them off at The Doghouse. They go in super happy and come home super tired which is awesome! When I first started looking for a place for my 2 pups to go when we are out of town, I wanted a place that would feel like they were at home without being home. The Doghouse is perfect for them because they get to wander inside and outside as they please and sleep in their crates at night. To know they are not trapped in a kennel all day long makes this mama’s heart happy. Thank you Laurel for loving the crazies!
I had a great experience with Brian taking care of my dogs. He is attentive to getting to know each pet. I like the check-ins and pictures provided to me while I was gone.
We love The Pet Gal! Our dogs look forward to their visits with Brian and the photo updates always make our day. The app is really user friendly and the scheduling flexibility has helped us in a pinch more times than I can count. As two frequent work travels The Pet Gal has become an integral part of balancing our busy schedules.
It has only been 4 dog walk visits so far but I’m very pleased. Wanda is wonderful and my dogs love her. Had Karsen one time and again very pleased with her. You can tell these folks love animals. I’m also very happy with the communication and responsiveness of the team. You send a message and you hear back almost immediately even during off hours.
We love Per Gal and sitter Karsen! We always use them when we need someone to watch our fur babies, especially overnight! ❤️❤️
We would be lost without The Pet Gal. We have a bearded dragon, a hamster and a hermit crab that we call the Mini Pets. We can leave on vacation and know that the Mini Pets are well taken care of and given some love while we are away. I love getting pictures daily and the app is easy to use. Thank you so much!!!
PetGal Wanda and Elizabeth did such an amazing job with our dogs! We had to book a last minute reservation and Debbie fit us in their schedule in only a few hours. Our dogs were very well taken care of and were treated like family. After each visit, they send an update along with pictures! Amazing service from an incredible team of people! Will definitely use PetGal again in the future!🐶🐾
I can’t say enough about this bunch. The staff that tends to our pets is extremely reliable, professional and kind. The office staff is also top notch. Fantastically ran company by Ms. Susan. The support and effort to help recently, when my dog was ill, was above and beyond what any “pet sitting” company would ever do. The Pet Gal is an extension in our family and is very much respected and appreciated!
Total 5 star experience! This was my first time using a sitter. Wanda provided timely updates and photos. I was surprised at how aware she was of keeping my home secure. She remembered that our pool guy is scheduled for Friday mornings and asked about it.
I’ve used Pet Gal several times now for my cat Ivy . They are so reliable , sweet & loving . They go above and beyond. Thank you so much !!!
The Pet Guy and Pet Gal assigned to take care of my fur friend were amazing. They provided status on how the visit went, a bunch of photos with each visit, and the peace of mind knowing that my dog was being well cared for. Anyone who snuggles my fur baby like this has a special place in our hearts. We will be using The Pet Gal every time we need pet sitting! THANK YOU!
We highly recommend Pamper Ur Pet. We originally hired them to walk our dogs as we were having such a miserable time walking the dogs, because they behaved so badly while walking. Faith and her team worked miracles with our dogs and now it is a pleasure for us to walk them every day. We then started using them for pet sitting when we would take our annual vacations and they were wonderful. They sent us updates every day and pictures of our fur babies. Our dogs and kitties love Faith and her team and are always so excited to see them. Again, highly recommend this business!
I have only had positive experiences with Pamper Ur Pet. Our sweet boy’s groomer, Savannah, always grooms him so well. He is a rescue who gets anxious very easily with new people and/or overwhelming situations, with this in mind, I feel extremely comfortable leaving him for several hours with Savannah. She is kind, calming and very sweet to Jax. On top of that, he always leaves his grooming appointment so handsome! We have used several groomers over the years and none have done such a nice job as Savannah.
Really great service by Savannah! Was very pleased with my dogs grooming results. She smelled better than she ever has and her nails were nice and short! Normally I wash her and cut her nails myself but I decided I really needed professional help to get good results. I'm glad I did. My dog seemed happy and they even sent me pics of her while she was being groomed. I have mobile grooming appointments for my two older dogs next month.
Both Sarah and Savannah are extremely caring about our nervous dogs and concerned not to push them farther than they are comfortable during the grooming process. They are both excellent groomers, and we are very happy with Lucy’s and Cooper’s haircuts!
Love this place! Brittany is super awesome with my dog and always does a great job! Pets can be uneasy when getting groomed so it 's nice to have someone who is good with your fur baby!
My fur babies are always in great hands and look so forward to their walks, loves and treats. We also use them when we travel since our house sitter isn’t always able to take them on walks.
Faith is a great pet sitter. She was very understanding when my plans changed, which I really appreciate. She is dependable, so I don't have to worry about my cats while I'm away.
We love Pamper Ur Pet. Our golden is scared to ride in a car. So, having Lauren, with Pamper Ur Pet, come straight to the house ensures Charlie's grooming is always low stress.
Working with Faith and her team has always been the best experience. We have 4 pups, 2 with special needs. We have always been very selective with who we have used to help take care of them. The amount of care and trust Pamper Ur Pet has built with us and our little pack over the years has been amazing. They have been very flexible and willing to work with us. Highly recommend!
Pamper Ur Pet is so great! We have 2 elderly dogs that don’t care for traveling anymore. Brittany with Pamper Ur Pet comes right to our door, takes the dogs one at a time, and gives them the best spa treatment! The dogs are happy to see her and she handles them with care! They love getting groomed and we enjoy the convenience. It’s great for everyone!
Suzanne is fantastic! We left town for 11 days and felt so comfortable with her taking care of our pups. She regularly sent photos and updates. We could tell our pups were well-loved and cared for while we are gone. We have already booked her again for our next travel. Update - Suzanne has now been watching our dogs regularly for two years. She is a fantastic communicator, reliable, and when we come home we can always tell our dogs have received great care. We are so grateful for Suzanne!
Suzanne has watched our 90 pound baby for months now and I would give her 10 stars if I could! She sends frequent updates, always is on time, is extremely reliable and most importantly so loving to the animals she cares for. Our pup loves Suzanne especially when she gives her treats! She’s the best and I would recommend her services to anyone in the area.
Suzanne is amazing. She responded immediately and was able to meet a last-minute request to take care of our dog due to a medical emergency and has been caring for our dog since. She asked all the right questions in order to understand our needs and our dog's needs. She does everything as we discussed and clearly really loves and cares about animals. We truly feel we leave our dog and our house in "loving hands" when we're away and Suzanne is in charge. We're extremely happy, satisfied clients. Loving Hands Pet Care is the BEST!
Suzanne is awesome! She is dependable, reliable, and our dog PJ loves her. I would recommend her to anyone in need of reliable and loving pet care and other related services. It is so awesome to get pictures/updates of our pup when we are at work.
We had Suzanne caring for our fur babies for several years on the occasions we would need to go out of town, and we were so grateful to have her. We knew we could leave for any length of time and not have any worries about the care of our pets. She was always available, even on extremely short notice, and took care of anything we asked of her. Suzanne is very loving and compassionate with the animals and treats them as her own. We are sad that Suzanne has left us in Ohio and relocated to Texas, and we will all miss her very much.
Great experience with Suzanne! Highly recommended for cat sitting 😺 …
We are in Austin on vacation with our pups, we wanted to do a few things that were not pet friendly so we needed to find a doggie daycare. The Firehouse pet resort was definitely a great choice. Everyone there was awesome, they gave our pups the attention they needed (and a little extra!) Would highly recommend them to anyone in need of care for their fur babies.
I've been going to Firehouse for a few years now, I'm not sure what took me so long to add a review. I absolutely LOVE their team. I was taking my newly adopted kitty, Tapi, to them and was trying to diagnose what was wrong with her, and it turned out she had cancer. It is a horrific phone call to receive, but it is so comforting to know the doctors cared about her. When we came in to help her pass, Dr. Moreman and Dr. Davies were both there and their words were beyond comforting. The vet tech, I'm so sorry I forgot her name, stayed with us the whole time as well. Though it was challenging, it was so much easier to go through. Then our corgi recently was diagnosed with IVDD and we had the wonderful help of Dr. Garza to help us fully understand what was happening and how to help her through it. She then recommended acupuncture with Dr. Tran and we saw a difference in her healing after every appointment. They saw all of my tears and were extremely comforting. I have seen most of their vets and I can tell you with my whole heart that I absolutely trust them with my pets. ❤️
As an r+ certified dog trainer, this is the only boarding facility I trust in north Austin. They typically go above and beyond and have the utmost safety practices for each dog. The staff are friendly, and the peace of mind from knowing the animal hospital is next door is priceless.
I really wanted to love this place since I use the vet services and am happy with that. However, my pup came home damp and smelling like urine and I was charged $45 dollars for a nail trim! That is more than it costs for daycare! I should have been told what the cost would be ahead of time if you're going to charge outrageous prices like that for a nail trim. I will take responsibility for not asking though and just assuming it would be like every other boarding facility I've taken my pups to. The most I've ever been charged for a nail trim is between $15-25. That was very disappointing. Not to mention the fact that I had to bathe him when I got home because of the urine smell. Other boarding facilities that I have been pleased with usually wipe down your pet before they release them to you. I did give 3 stars though because my pup seemed happy when I picked him up and the staff seemed friendly enough. I just think there needs to be some changes implemented before I say I would bring my pup back here again for daycare or boarding.
I want to express my gratitude to the Firehouse pet resort and veterinarian staff for taking care of my baby Dotty. Dotty stayed with them for 2 weeks. This was our first time with this place, I did not know what to expect. I was anxious. However, all my concerns very addressed and she was well taken care of. They even cooked special food for her as she refused to eat. Thank you!
Update: Firehouse has made great efforts in making this situation right. The manager reached out and promised they are working to make the next stay better. I am happy to know that they care to make it right. Looking forward to seeing this new department grow. Original review: Really hoped this place would have been better since it is associated with our vet. We still love our vet and will stay with firehouse but there needs to be some major adjustments to the kennel! Both our pets can home filthy ( backsides covered in fecal matter) beds too. It took 40 mins to check in and 40mins to check out. They had to retrieve our stuff (beds/food/snacks) a blanket that was never given to our cold pup and bones safe for the kennel that were never given.. they were still in their package. Didn’t give dental bones and pretty positive by the dried Fecal matter on both the backside and on one of the beds that wasn’t washed yet was extremely dry and was clearly there for several days. I plan to make a personal phone call to notice management but I would like to do it in person because I feel it’s needed. My wife cried when she got home and our oldest small dog lost her voice for … going on 3 days now. I want people to know and I think it’s important to get this out there ASAP ! I still stand by the vet but I will not stand by this kennel operation I think it has great potential but it definitely needs a new management or some sort of organization skills. Extremely unorganized .
I love this resort for my fur babies! Not only did they take excellent care of my really energetic doggo (she came home exhausted) the entire process was a breeze! The staff are nothing short of superb, you can tell they love their jobs and love the animals. Worth every penny in my opinion. They were also able to take on my dog on super short notice, I was on my way there, during the snowpocalypse last week. I couldn’t say enough good thing about this place. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them for both day car and boarding in the future. Thank you y’all for taking such good care of my baby!!
Always a pleasurable experience. They love my dogs as much as I do!
I take my little monster here once or twice a year; he always seems to enjoy himself and is healthy and happy at pickup. I use the vet too, and it’s nice that they are in the same area.
Super friendly and caring, I can feel that they love the animal. Doctors always explain what is going on. Staff is very helpful. I love this place. Dr. Garza is so amazing.
