James and Katie were incredible hosts. Their apartment is technologically advanced (life is so much easier with Alexa!), located in the prime and gorgeous North Beach area, with spectacular views of our beloved city's landmarks. Mouse, also known as Tilly, was easy to care for. She kept to herself for half of the stay but warmed up at the end and was super friendly. Hope to come back again in the future! Thanks guys!
It was an absolute pleasure to have the company of Tikka for 10 days. She is the sweetest little girl. She was a bit shy at first, but took only a day or so to come out of her shell and snuggle up or bring out her favourite toy for us to play with. Tikka loved to go on walks, of which there are good options around Brittany and Chris's place. She is somewhat anxious when other dogs pass us by, but really it's not a problem. She is easy to care for and a wonderful companion! Brittany and Chris are extremely hospital! Their home is very welcoming and carries beautiful energy. They were more than accommodating and responded to any queries I had immediately and always with such graciousness. If you have the opportunity to care for Tikka and stay at Brittany and Chris's, please go for it! I couldn't recommend it more.
Karen was wonderful since our very first interaction! She was so accommodating, kind, warm, welcoming and made me feel so at home in her lovely, cozy home. She made sure I had a chance to meet her sweetheart dog Tahoe prior to the visit to get to know both him and her and all of Tahoe's needs! She gave me a detailed and organized helpful list of everything I needed to know to take the utmost care of Tahoe and her beautiful home; so that I would feel comfortable, happy and relaxed during my stay! I had everything I needed and more! Karen left me delicious vegan cookies, made up the guest room so beautifully for me and was communicative throughout! Tahoe is a very special dog with cheerful, happy energy. He shows you he appreciates you by being a loving companion. Tahoe always greeted me with a warm welcome and happy zoomies! :) Play time in the backyard was our favorite time together, as well as when Tahoe sat right near me when I was sitting on the couch and we were relaxing together :) He became my best friend instantly and I just wanted to pet and hug him all the time! Tahoe likes to be close to you and makes sure you're safe, especially if he hears a noise which always made me feel secure and relaxed. I so enjoyed this housesit and would recommend Karen and Tahoe highly for any future housesits! You will surely enjoy your time with both of them! Thank you Karen and Tahoe! Hope to see you soon!
Adonis and Zorba were lovely hosts! Friendly, playful and welcoming! Kathy and Renee's home was comfortable and close to many interesting activities. While there we visited the strip and downtown, buzzed over to Lake Mead to take a peek and spent a very hot morning/afternoon exploring Death Valley. We were able to meet with Kathy and Renee the afternoon before our sit to get to know each other a little bit and to meet Adonis and Zorba. We had a great time. They are excellent pet owners/host. Would definitely return in the future should our schedules line up!
