Our experience with The Strutting Pooch has been absolutely wonderful. It has been almost 2 years since we began using their wide array of services. In this review I'd like to specifically highlight Maegan, who hosts doggy daycare for The Strutting Pooch. From the moment we enrolled Jazzy, it's been clear that this isn't just a daycare—it's a community that truly cares about its furry clients and their owners. Jazzy adores her daycare days; she practically wags her tail off every morning when she knows it's time to see her friends at Maegan's. The wrap-around services they offer are top-notch; from their spacious play areas to the thoughtful daily reports complete with adorable photos of Jazzy in action, we're always in the loop about her day. They even provide taxi services to daycare in case something comes up last minute, or if you need a helping hand. What sets Maegan's place apart is her seamless communication. Whether it's a quick update on how Jazzy is doing or coordinating special requests, she makes it effortless. It's clear she prioritizes not just the dogs but also ensuring peace of mind for us owners. If you're looking for a daycare that goes above and beyond, look no further than Maegan's with The Strutting Pooch. Jazzy and I couldn't recommend them more highly!
Soo happy I found the Strutting Pooch, I only wish I knew about them sooner! The staff is so friendly and sweet to my 18lb chihuaha/terrier mix. They have so many services for reasonable prices! We mainly do the 30-min visits, and they always walk my dog around the neighborhood, play with her inside the house for a little bit, and refresh her water bowl. I love their app where you can easily communicate with the staff and schedule services. I also love the reports and pictures they send for every visit! Definitely recommend the Strutting Pooch 1000%!
We traveled to CA for a funeral, and had to leave our cat home all alone for the first time. The Strutting Pooch takes care of cats as well as your dogs! We’ve used them before when our dog was still with us, and would recommend them to anyone without hesitation! They are the very best around. Our cat was very happy to see them.
Roxy’s Strutting Pooch takes wonderful care of our pups when we are away on vacation. Our pups can stay in their home where they are most comfortable and have Roxy’s staff visit them to meet their needs, play, and give them lots of love and pets. We return home to a house that has been checked daily and happy pups.
Strutting Pooch is the best! I have used several companies in the past and had some bad experiences (namely with the on line service at Rover). Emily and her team did a great job. They were good to my 2 dogs, my cat, and 4 chickens! Always on time and they do everything asked of them and more. They go the extra mile, sent me pictures every day and let me know how every visit went. I could not give a higher recommendation. They are awesome! They loved and cared for my pets like they were theirs - here’s just a few pics from the Strutting Pooch when they took care of them for me.
Over last year+ we have used doggy daycare and boarding for our dog and in our home care for our cat. All wonderful experiences! Our original pup unfortunately passed last Spring. When we decided to rescue a new pup last Fall, and we got her in doggy daycare soon after. She’s a bit of a hard case as she doesn’t like people she does not know. But when we introduced her to Maegan for a daycare meet & greet, our pup liked her almost immediately! She has also since boarded there, and unsurprisingly it was a great experience .
We have been coming to the strutting pooch for grooming for the last 2 years. All of the groomers have been wonderful but Lola has been beyond the best of any groomer we have ever had. You can tell how much she really loves all the dogs she grooms, especially ours! She also is a great communicator through out the time they spend with her. Our boys love her kind energy. Thanks Lola for being the best bather to our boys! #dewbie&dougieapproved
Such a great company. They always take care of my animals when I go on vacation. All the sitters are wonderful and professional. I feel very assured with the detailed notes and pictures I receive after every visit. The app is the best! It is easy to schedule visits and the reports are awesome. They are flexible and accommodating to my last minute changes and requests.
We are a new client and have brought both of our dogs to be groomed. The groomers and staff are very friendly, great communication, exceptional care for your animal and amazing customer service along with excellent grooming talent. We have been through several groomers in the past couple of years but my wife and I feel that we finally found our go to place. Thank you!!
I was referred to Strutting Pooch by an acquaintance at the dog park and have had wonderful experiences with them. Maegan has been our doggie daycare provider and Shama loves it there. Maegan has always made us, especially Shama feel at home and comfortable. I cannot recommend Strutting Pooch for grooming and daycare services enough!
We have 2 pups. A 9 year old and a 10 month old. We were in search of occasional day care and occasional boarding for them. I spent two weeks very diligently touring and combing through hundreds of reviews for several local facilities. Some of the horror stories left by previous clients on these other places really left me nauseated. For every bad review there were 3 good reviews which was frustrating. Regardless of the good out totaling the bad, my gut just wouldn’t allow me to send my dogs to any of these other places. Our dogs and the care they receive in our absence is as important to us as child care was when our children were young. I thought it was a lost cause and was ready to change my search to in home care providers when a co-worker recommended The Brown Dog to me. I had never heard of The Brown Dog which was surprising because it was so close to my home and I must have driven past it a hundred times. I quickly did an online search, skimmed the website and read the online reviews. Everything looked good on the surface so I reached out to Morgan explaining our dogs and their specific needs as well as requesting a tour of the facility. Morgan responded right away and I was able to go in and meet with her that very same day! Morgan was warm and friendly and answered every single one of my very many questions. The place was clean and sanitary, well appointed with all the basic needs, and provided spacious indoor boarding kennels as well as outdoor play spaces. There were several dogs in attendance during my visit and each one seemed well adjusted and very happy. What a breath of fresh air this experience was!! We scheduled an evaluation trial day of daycare and got all the paperwork done. Trial unfortunately didn’t go so great. My girl has a very strong personality mixed with lots of anxiety. My baby boy is extremely attached to his sister and doesn’t do well when separated from her. Rather than deciding my dogs were not a good fit and turning me away, and rather than accepting my dogs and putting them in uncomfortable situations in the future, Morgan suggested a second trial day. She wanted to introduce different dogs and try a different process. The safety and comfort of my dogs as well as the others in her care was her top priority and she was more than willing to do what she could to find a good fit. We greatly appreciated this care and attention. Thankfully Morgan found a perfect recipe for my pups. They made some new friends and acclimated themselves well. Since then my pups go to daycare on an every other week basis and they have also been boarded there for a 6 day stretch in April and a 4 day stretch in July. We couldn’t be happier! The pups come home with big smiles and are EXHAUSTED from a day full of play! When we return they are excited to get out of the car and go in to see their new friends! Highly recommended for both daycare and boarding.
Morgan and her team at The Brown Dog Canine Care did an excellent job looking after my dog during a recent trip. The drop off and pick up process was easy and well organized, Morgan provided updates throughout the week and included the images attached(along with others) on this review. The add on packages (walks, play times, etc) are reasonably priced and well worth the extra charge. Overall I am very happy with the service they provided and they have become my go-to boarding/day care.
I’ve been taking Marco to The Brown Dog for daycare 2-3 times a week since it opened. Marco has some personality quirks and isn’t always the easiest dog to manage. Morgan and her team have been wonderful to him! I feel so happy to have a safe, caring place for Marco to go when I am at work for 10-11 hours a day. I get photos and updates on how he is doing and he’s been socializing with other dogs which is so helpful! I highly recommend their services!
Recently I boarded my very nervous dog at the Brown dog. She can be difficult and I never like to leave her, but Morgan and her team were fantastic to work with. Drop off and pick up was a breeze. I got updates about how she was but more importantly when I got her home after my trip she was the exact same dog she always was. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will happily be boarding at the Brown Dog in the future! Thank you so much!
We are so happy that we found Morgan and The Brown Dog Canine Care. We've boarded our 1 year old energetic dog with her twice, and both times he came home so happy! We've also used the daycare, and he gets so excited every time we pull up. Astro loves Morgan, and so do we! We know Astro is in good, very capable hands. Highly recommend The Brown Dog! I will attach one of the pics Morgan sent us while Astro was being boarded <3
Morgan and her team are wonderful and caring. Oliver loves going to day care, he comes home happy and tired. I love the smaller groups and it’s very reasonably priced.
Wonderful experience boarding our 2 girls at The Brown Dog! We have 2 rescue mixed breed pups who are our world. One of our dogs has a difficult personality and is not easy for most people to handle. When I went to meet Morgan and tour her facility, I explained all the quirks we deal with, and Morgan was very empathetic and explained her vast experience working with dogs. Wow, was I impressed!! She made me feel completely comfortable that she could handle our challenging pup with ease and confidence. That is what I'm looking for in a boarding facility. We've had some disappointing experiences in our 8 years of boarding all over the capital district, but interacting with Morgan quickly changed our minds! I appreciated the great portal she implemented to upload all of our dogs' documents, request a reservation, and input all of their instructions for boarding such as feeding and medications. It made dropoff seamless and quick since she had everything ahead of time. We were able to drop them off and be on our way, and everything was very organized! When we returned to pick them up, it was the same-everything was neatly packed up and ready to go. We appreciated that all of their belongings were there, including their canned food from the fridge! Let me tell you-I don't know what kind of magic Morgan works there, but our dogs have never been so calm after returning from boarding! We've had some unpleasant experiences elsewhere such as upset tummies and hoarse from barking so much, which broke our hearts. However, this time they were like new dogs! We both kept remarking throughout the day that they came home how CALM and HAPPY they both were! It was nothing short of miraculous! Again, I think it is a testament to Morgan's experience and training working with dogs of all breeds and personalities. She sent us pictures during our trip, kept us updated on how they were doing, and seemed genuinely invested in their care. It was so reassuring to us to know that she takes her business seriously, and is a true professional. We're so happy to have found The Brown Dog, and can't recommend it enough! We have several upcoming reservations already booked!
We recently started bringing our 8-month old puppy Stevie to The Brown Dog and our experience has been OUTSTANDING! Morgan is a consummate professional in taking care of the dogs, ensuring that they are screened and healthy, communicating with the dog owners and handling all of the logistics of booking and payment. She is also very friendly and exudes a positive vibe, which is important as the pack leader for all the pups. Stevie doesn't have any siblings, so we're very grateful that she is getting such positive socialization with her new friends at The Brown Dog. We can tell that she is cared for and active at "school" because she is always so upbeat when we pick her up and then she is tuckered out in the evening when we return home. We highly recommend The Brown Dog to anyone looking for great care for their pup(s)!
I cannot be more pleased with The Brown Dog! I have utilized both the boarding and daycare services, my dog regularly visits. He is definitely a unique character and Morgan has done an incredible job of patiently managing his exuberance while also allowing him to play with other dogs. My dog is always thrilled to go and comes home tired, which is great for both of us!
I have an anxious, loquacious German Shepherd. At times, he can be a lot to handle. It can be difficult to find trustworthy places capable of handing him. Morgan and staff do an excellent job easing both his and my own anxiety during his stays. I get regular updates and photos and can tell he is comfortable once he is there. Everyone is super accommodating. It is a relief knowing there is place I can trust to take care of my special little guy.
The 3 day training program with Tom Davis is an experience everyone should do. I had the pleasure to participate in this program with my own dog and then shadow. The way Tom breaks concepts down so that you as a dog owner can digest them then replicate is great. From the shadow side of the program it’s really wonderful to see how he thinks about the dog in-front of him and adjust to the needs instead of trying to make the dog and owner fit a mold. It’s really wonderful to see and learn in between sessions. Between him and his team openly answering my many questions. I wish it was an ongoing program. I wish Tom and his team only the best! A++ on everything.
We have had our fur baby at Upstate weekly for the past 2 years and can't be happier!! When we take her to daycare, she can't wait to get in the door! She's made many new friends - when she gets home, it's lights out :) We highly recommend Upstate for daycare and boarding - the staff is so incredibly attentive and caring we never have to worry about her being there.
We love Upstate. My daughters dog Bumi goes twice a week and loves it. We started sending our two little ones Oakley and Finley there once a week, they love it also and all three are soooo tired after a day there. And very convenient to our home. I hope that they have more Saturday daycare days available, it's helpful when you need to get things done and don't want to leave them home alone or have them there when trying to plant and they just want to dig it up. We also use them for boarding when we are away for all three of them, which is great because not only are they taken care overnight but they get to be outside and play during the day, I love that❤️
I highly recommend Upstate Canine Academy! My 12 year old dog went for years and loved it. Then when the decision came to socialize and enroll our 1 year old puppy, I did not hesitate to contact Alyssa. She and the team were very supportive and gave me updates on his first day. Since his enrollment in daycare I have seen a significant change in his behavior and his ability to be trained. Thank you to Tom, Taylor, Alyssa and team for building a great place for dogs!
I've been sending my dog to UCA for daycare since she was a year old. She LOVES daycare days and always has a blast, coming home exhausted. The staff is amazing, always taking great care of Myko when she's there. I can't recommend them enough!
Upstate Canine Academy's day care has been great for my dog, Molly. She is a bit shy and scared of new people and places at first, and this was especially so when we first started at daycare, but given a little time she is friendly and energetic. I tried 2 other day care places closer to my home but neither one would give Molly the time she needed to become comfortable with the new dogs and surroundings expect for UCA. Its been a year now and Molly loves seeing her friends and can't wait to get to daycare. She practically leaps out of the car in the morning. The staff is friendly and really enjoys working with the dogs and they always let me know how Molly's day went when I pick her up. Enrolling her at UCA is the best decision we've made for Molly. I can't recommend UCA enough.
Upstate Canine Daycare is a great facility with a very dedicated and knowledgeable staff. They understand dog behavior. My dogs have been going here for years. I never have to worry about them. I know they’re safe and having fun.
I cannot say enough about Upstate Canine Academy Daycare. They are always so accomodating and make scheduling a breeze. Staff are friendly and care about the pups. Most importantly Olive (my Beagle Mix) Loves it there!!!
The staff is an extraordinary group of caring individuals. They treat each dog with patience and kindness. The dogs spend a lot of time outdoors playing and socializing.
Juna loves it there! Every time return into the street he’s just super excited and can barely wait to get in there.
We absolutely love the Pet Lodge of Clifton Park. Everyone is friendly and outgoing. It’s always clean and my yellow lab gets so excited every time we tell her she’s going to doggie daycare. It’s obvious that the staff love all the animals that come in and treat them as their own. I highly recommend the Pet Lodge of Clifton Park.
My friend went on vacation for her sons birthday and came back her dog tail was injured. They said he bit his tail. She had to bring him to the vet and they amputated his tail. Her dog is Destroyed handicap for life now.
My dogs love it here. They pull me to get inside that they loved it so much. They treat my dogs well. Finn and Rosie love it there
I left my dog here for around 2 ish weeks as it was the only option for a last min travel. I felt super confident going into it but after dropping her off and calling a couple days later to check on how she was doing (this was her first time boarding) I unfortunately spoke to someone on the phone who acted as if I was bizarre for calling to check in? All I got back was a "oh yea she's fine". Not super comforting as I also asked for pictures and videos and received nothing. When I picked up my dog, I was 1. horrified at her haircut and 2. horrified at the conditions my dogs things were in. Her bed was COVERED in pee and super sticky, handed to me in a trash bag with poop smeared on the outside. The last thing I want to mention is how she has been doing since I picked her up. We have had non stop diarrhea and zero appetite. I am extremely concerned for what conditions she was in at Pet Lodge. I want to also mention that she was supposed to be in isolation since she is not spayed (I am not sure if they followed this instruction) but there is no reason why she should be feeling ill. I am not someone to leave reviews ever and I really don't love Karen culture but I am seriously so upset. As someone that drove in from Manhattan, I would have much rather paid double to have her in a safer environment. I was recommended this place by someone who has had great experiences there but if you really care about your dog and you are on the fence about boarding them here, rethink.
I’m concerned to come on here and see a similar review to what happened to my dog. My dog did not go to Pet Lodge for day care very frequently, but had been here a few times. Each time I went, I tried to question the staff as to how he did, since he was a rescue and was new to day care (and with a rescue you never know their history). I found it very difficult to get any information from staff- no report card and no one ever seeming to know or be able to find a staff member who interacted with him throughout the day. There are no cameras to check in during the day either. I assumed all was well. The first time he went, he came home very sick, vomiting for days and coughing. Although he’s vaccinated for kennel cough, it seems he had contracted it. The next few times, he always seemed to come home very thirsty, and not having gone to the bathroom. I equated that to him just being anxious. This last time I took him, at pickup, I was told that he was in evaluation because he was new. I questioned it because he was not new and the employee at the front desk seemed to have no information and had a deer in the headlights look on her face. Another employee eventually came out and very rudely said he’s not a good fit for daycare. She seemed very angry like it was my fault and my dog was some sort of menace. I asked what she meant since he’s been there several times. She said he was aggressive with another dog that simply just came up to play with him. I tried to ask follow-up questions about the size and breed of the dog and then was told it was several dogs and he tried to bite them when they were just trying to play. Well it sounded like he got thrown into the pack and cornered and many dogs may react to that. They were very clear that he was no longer welcome there but I feel like they were not very forthcoming with information that I need to evaluate my dog, such as whether he needs medication or whether he’d be a better fit for another environment (or whether something was going on hear that was making him act that way). I feel like if you’re going to exclude animals from your business and say they’re aggressive you need to be more forthcoming with information. That’s a big label to put on a dog without further information. When I got my dog in the car, I found he had some sort of dirty substance all over his mouth and he seemed traumatized. Maybe he’d been locked in the cage all day after the alleged incident- I wouldn’t know because they didn’t tell me. He has had stomach issues ever since he got back and has been unable to defecate. I have no problem not bringing him back to this facility because I never really felt like everything was right there. But clearly there are issues here based upon others’ reviews.
Even though my dog has stayed with the pet lodge three times, this most recent time the employees rudely told me that he could not return because he bites. Furthermore, when we picked him up, he smelled terrible and seemed traumatized. I don't know what the employees of the pet lodge did to my dog, but it seems that he was abused. I understand being weary of a dog that bites, however, I made it clear that he could sometimes be aggressive before they agreed to take him. They have also let him stay with them twice before with no issues. If the employees are not able to handle a difficult dog, then they should not agree to care for them. I am disgusted that they allowed my dog to be abused.
I had an incredibly disappointing encounter with this establishment. My dog was placed in their care for a brief period, and the experience left me deeply dissatisfied. It became apparent that they neglected to provide proper nourishment for my dog during her stay. Despite providing a carefully measured container of food, the portion returned fell just short of what was initially sent. To compound matters, my dog's cherished toys, which were entrusted to them, were never returned. Equally distressing was the condition in which I found my dog upon pickup. She was completely drenched in urine, and her bed shared the same unfortunate fate. It was a sight that truly shocked me. Witnessing my normally joyful dog trembling and visibly scared broke my heart. Given the alarming series of events, I must strongly caution against considering this establishment for your pet's needs. Instead, I implore you to seek out a more responsible and dependable alternative that will prioritize your pet's well-being and safety. Your furry companion deserves nothing less than the best care possible.
Goose had the best time at the Pet Lodge today. Stefanie was so happy to see him when he arrived and he felt so welcomed when we they brought him into the area with all the other dogs. I was told he got along with the other dogs and that he had a great time! We also got him groomed while he was there and Cheryl was very intentional to make sure he looked amazing and exactly to our liking. He looks amazing and we know Goose can't wait to go back!
If I could give negative stars I would . My dog did what I call a trial run before an upcoming trip . I sent her for 2-3 days and she came back fine but the lady said she peed in her bed so they washed it and apparently went all night without it . Sleeping on the floor my guess . Then when my mother came to pick the dog up , the didn’t know where some of her stuff was. Well wouldn’t it be in the kennel with the dog and when you bring the dog out to the lobby wouldn’t the stuff be in that same kennel ? That would be my guess. The 30 minute drive to our old dog hotel is better than the 10 minute . Would rather waste gas to go to a place that we know will take good care of our dog .
My Family pet got hurt at his stay here & the owner showed no empathy or responsibility for his injuries!! 🤕☹️😢 …
This was our first time using Milton Manor and we were very impressed. The staff was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The facility was clean and spacious. We boarded our lopped ear rabbit for 9 days. During that time we had brushed, groomed and nails clipped. When we picked her up, she appeared well taken care of and relaxed. I highly recommend Milton Manor for all your boarding and grooming needs.
This is our second stay at Milton Manor and the first time we’ve ever left our dog for more than a week. There was a web cam in her room so we were able to check on her 24 hours a day which was great with a 6 hour time difference. When we picked her up she was playful, very happy and well. Extremely clean facility with a helpful, friendly team on an extensive well maintained property. We will absolutely bring her back in the future. Highly recommend.
Milton manor goes above and beyond to make sure all dogs are safe and comfortable even the anxious ones like our chief. Our boys stayed for 8 days both dogs were very well taken care of lots of outdoor fun with the phenomenal staff they are true angels who love dogs all dogs. Milton manor is exceptionally the best dog boarding facility in the area. We travel 45 minutes so our fur babies will be safe while we go on vacation we wouldn’t trust anyone else
Our pups love to stay at Milton Manor and we don’t have to worry about their care when we travel. The staff is amazing and the facility is clean and well maintained. We are so happy we found Milton Manor!
My Buddy Fergus has stayed at other resorts in my area and he's come home lethargic and sometimes a little timid. He just spent 4 days at Milton Manor while I was on a business trip. I got him the 5-Star package and they sent me pictures of him everyday out on walks and he looked like he was having so much fun, he came home happy and full of energy, he got a great PAWgress report :). The staff are friendly, facility is clean, the other residents seem happy and just talking to the staff gives you the confidence your pet will be in excellent hands. I want my buddy to be happy and well looked after while I'm away and Milton Manor will make that happen, its his new home away from home.
Our Stella has been going to Milton Manor Doggy twice a week for over 4 years! We have complete confidence and trust in the staff and our Stella loves the handlers and the other dog friends. She always safe and comfortable and comes home very happy and well exercised. We love seeing the photos of her day and sometimes she even comes home with projects and gifts for her fur parents. How cute is that. Thank you Milton Manor for going above and beyond and taking such great care of our Stella!
Our currently 8 year-old’ish golden retriever Freddy has been visiting Milton Manor since the Fall of 2020, a few months after we adopted him from a rescue. Our only Son and his Wife had moved several states away, and we found ourselves in need of steady and reliable care for our new guy. Freddy is always eager to arrive! We have always boarded him in the area of larger kennel rooms (no individual in/out door) which area has cameras 24/7. We always schedule him for individual play, and unless it is bad weather, he gets to be out a great deal. We utilize the bathing and grooming on the day that we pick him up, and they do a beautiful job on him! We bring his own food, supplements, meds. We receive phone calls or texts if there is any question or concern. And now that he is older and has acquired a health issue, we even utilize the “late potty” (9:30’ish) which also doubles as a wellness check. The staff are wonderful…friendly, helpful, hard-working, caring, and the ones we book with and speak to have been there for years. Without hesitation, we highly recommend Milton Manor Resort & Spa for peace of mind when you travel or need grooming for your pup.
My family and I have never had to kennel our dogs. We’ve always been fortunate enough to have our family watch them, until recently. We did some research online and talked to friends, some of which have used Milton Manor, and they loved the facility. When we dropped our dogs off, my wife and I were very impressed. The staff is amazing, and the facility is amazing. They sent us photos of our dogs, who had a great time. The best part was that we were able to have both dogs share a room. I would definitely recommend Milton Manor to anyone. I know that we’ll be using them again. Much love, Lilo and Harpur
Have been boarding my 2 large dogs (golden and husky mix) in the studio suite for many years now and always an excellent experience. Love the 24/7 camera access to check on them and how attentive and organized Milton Manor is. It also means a lot to have a place that has happy familiar faces each time I go and not constantly turning over with new employees every time. Won't board anywhere else.
Milton Manor is by far the best place for all your pets needs. I've been using them for years. My boy goes to their doggie daycare, he gets his grooming at the spa and we have also used the lodging. We've even boarded our cats there in the past. Its clean and well maintained and very safe and secure. Everyone is friendly and very knowledgeable. I wouldn't trust anyone other than Milton manor to take care of any of my animals. They're the BEST!!
My dogs have been going to Must Love Pawz for 13 years now (since before it changed ownership and was rebranded.) We daycare during the week and sometimes even on a busy Saturday, board a handful of times each year and love their add-on services like baths/nails, one on one sessions (especially in the pool in warmer months). There’s no question the ownership makes sure that every employee truly “must love pawz” and the hello hugs and goodbye belly rubs they give my pup every time she arrives and leaves are a testament to the love my dog feels with them. The daycare package deals they offer are very reasonable and worth purchasing as they come at a significant discount. I also highly recommend upgrading to a room for boarding especially with larger dogs and if you’re going to have a long board and your pup is used to getting all the snugs at home adding on a cuddle session or two during your stay. Forever grateful for this place, their people and services!
I am so pleased with the care my dog receives at MLP. My boy used to struggle with meeting new dogs, didn't have good recall, and begged at the table. Since going to MLP he now initiates play with new dogs, can walk/hike off leash, and lays in place while we eat. He has learned manners and uses them daily. He dances in the back sit as we get closer to daycare and runs straight to the door. After daycare he is tired out from all the scents, barking, playing, and stimulation. He is a new dog and I feel safe leaving him there. I am grateful to the staff who greet him every morning, loves him all day, and say meaningful goodbyes in the evening.
An amazing doggy daycare with caring and well trained staff!! My 19-week-old GSD, Link, always runs out of the car and to the door in excitement so he can play with all his friends, and he always comes home happy and tired! I also love that they have a treadmill that they can train the dogs on, because I was planning on buying a treadmill for a while, so this was a great head start to see if Link liked treadmills before buying one! The previous daycare I had him at felt so unwelcoming and "money first" focused, but here I have had staff give helpful, positive reinforcement tips on Link's training, and have been very warm and friendly to both of us! They also have puppy-focused care that allows the puppies to have more frequent potty breaks and naps, which I haven't seen any daycares nearby that offer that! This place has a lot of love and heart for dogs, so if you're looking for a doggy daycare, this is the place!
Boarded here a four times over two years for work travel. Last time I dropped my pups off was around 8 months ago. Employees immediately remembered them. This last time I ordered a bath for one of my pups who (first time no one knew) didn't like the dryer, and stressed chewed through their collar. When I picked them up they immediately went above and beyond and offered to comp the cost of the collar. Offering to refund cost for damage my dog did on their own collar while doing a service I asked for, Blew my mind. This place is crazy awesome. Excluding this one event there have been others that have proven to me they really care. Forget five stars. 10/5
Jen has been really great with my cats. It's such a relief to know they're in good hands so I don't have to worry when I'm out of town.
Great dog keepers, dogs can't wait to go there. I have 3 i board each time.
My English Bulldog boards and occasionally attends the doggy daycare for the past few years, and each experience is simply amazing to both me and my pup. I have become more and more impressed with the service each year. Having an English Bulldog there are constant issues, and whenever something has occurred the staff at Cody's has gone above and beyond to take care of him. The staff is flexible and I can honestly say, when I go to pick up my dog- he never wants to leave just yet. He loves Cody's Cozy Pals, the staff unconditionally loves him, and I can completely trust the business with him- I am totally grateful for that. I highly recommend using Cody's Cozy Pals- between boarding, doggy daycare or even receiving a bath- you and your pet will be extremely satisfied. This is the place to take your pet and know that they will be safe and loved just how you love them.
I've been bringing my two dogs here for daycare and the occasional boarding for 4 years now and they absolutely love it! The staff are always friendly and greet us at the door. You can tell they really love animals because they greet the dogs before the humans! The clincher for me was when I brought my 4 year old and my 5 month old (at the time) puppy. One staff member told me the puppy may benefit from coming to daycare on her own without her sister for a while because they had become somewhat dependent on each other. My older girl loved having a quiet day away from the pup and the puppy had the chance to socialize with all sorts of other doggies. It just shows that Cody's puts the well being of the dogs above making an extra buck! They very easily could have kept collecting money for having both dogs there but they recognized what was best for the overall wellness of both dogs and acted accordingly! Amazing! I completely trust Cody's Cozy Pals with my pups. I've tried other places in the area and these guys go above and beyond. They offer extras like pool time during the summer (my girls LOVE the water), treadmill time (my puppy needs extra tiring out and practice concentrating on tasks), grooming, training (both obedience and agility), and holiday pictures. The holiday pictures are my absolute favorite because who doesn't love their pups dressed up in ridiculous costumes posed in front of a themed background? I wouldn't bring them anywhere else!! The level of care Cody's provides is unmatched!!
Great with my dogs !! They require pets to be dropped off for a day, no charge, to meet and greet before boarding. So when my dogs returned for their actual stay, they were comfortable and ready to play! great staff!! Very affordable ! Highly recommend
We've used Cody's services for taking care of our dogs for more than 8 years. We started before her formal day care center existed and she would care our dog at her home. She is a true animal lover and has always taken wonderful care of our pets. She made special consideration for our older dog when we used to take him to her facility, who is is very anxious outside our home, and her staff was very friendly and accommodating. We would easily recommend Cody to anyone looking for someone to take care of their day care needs.
Alex and Alena are the new owners of Waggs-and-Woofs in Stillwater and they proved to be a Godsend for us. Like many dog “parents,” we hate leaving our dogs when we go away. For several years we had a person who would stay in the house with them however, she retired so we were left trying other boarding facilities. Our pups always came how smelling awful from the stark conditions in which they were boarded. Our new pups have only been boarded at one other place which, we did not care for so based on a recommendation from our niece we called Alex and Alena for boarding for our recent vacation. It turned out to be the best call ever. They are the new owners who very recently took over the operation and it is fantastic. We were escorted on a tour of the facilities and we were blown away. A huge play area where they provide daycare and dogs can mingle. Boarding accommodations are great with beds and are exceptionally clean as well as climate control and even ceiling fans. When we picked them up you would never know they had been boarded. They were clean and didn’t have that boarded odor. The best part for us is that the operation is at their home. Unlike other places they don’t lock up and leave the pups overnight. They are there! They play, walk, and care for the dogs every day. They are truly caring and amazing people. We wish them many years of success and look forward to boarding with them whenever we go away. In fact, we already booked our next visit. In our opinion there are not enough stars in the universe to award them with!
My experience with Waggs-And-Woofs has been very positive. My Midas looks forward to going and comes home pooped out. The owner and her employees have always been helpful if I have had a problem with Midas. I love that not only do they play hard when there they also learn new tasks!
You know you are doing something (everything) right when you not only have community support, but also the support of other fellow dog boarding business owners! Alisa and her team offer quality care for all who enter. She and her team are knowledgeable and caring. The facility is meticulously clean and safety is obviously their number one concern. They provide daily updates for all who stay. They aren't scared to set boundaries with owners, to keep all safe in their doggy play groups. That's a win win in my book!
My dog spent an extended period boarding here. The owner was compassionate, professional, and did everything possible to make sure that my dog's time there was pleasant. She took very special care of my pet. It was so reassuring to know that my pup was being cared for here. Highly recommend using Wags and Woofs for your pet!!!
I can admit that I have never trusted anyone with my dog (who means the world to me)..until I found Waggs & Woofs …Alisa , Dennis & Kira take wonderful care of my Sofie who is very high energy .. . Sofie loves everyone at Waggs & Woofs. There was a time when she would not get in the car , now all I have to say is “do you want to go play with your friends “ and she gets so excited & jumps in the car! I have a sigh of relief knowing that my fur baby will be safe when I drop her off. It’s the most beautiful ,clean & safest daycare/boarding facility that I’ve ever sent one of my pets to. The Email communications with Alisa is excellent & The Photos are adorable!!! Thank you Waggs & Woofs !!
We love to travel, but we always worry about leaving our dog that we adore behind. It was wonderful knowing that he was in such good hands. Alisa is so wonderful and responsive, and she emailed us phenomenal pictures of him daily which was perfect. There is no other place we would want to leave him. I think Bentley had a wonderful time there on his vacation.
When looking for love and care for your pet when you can’t be present or are traveling, look no further than Wags & Woofs. What a loving team. Great communications and nothing but the best care and attention for your furry loved one! If I could give it 100 stars I would!Thank you for taking care of Addie while we were away. So grateful!!
My boyfriend and I went on vacation and our 6 month old puppy boarded overnight here for 10 nights. I was so nervous about boarding our puppy because he’s never been boarded before and he’s so young & can be a lot to handle at times. I love how they have the boarding right in their home. That eased my mind that someone is always there. Alisa and her team go above and beyond to care for every dog. They keep their customers updated with an amazing Facebook page with photos! Alisa is also very knowledgeable and her and her team are professionals at caring for dogs. Also I’d like to add that our flight was cancelled and we couldn’t get back home for another day and Alisa was more than happy to keep our puppy for another night. She saved me so much stress. And I’m so glad I found this place and will recommend to everyone I know!
Bringing my puppy to Waggs and Woofs for daycare has been an amazing experience for the last 3 months. Alisa and Dennis are so caring and compassionate with my dog and truly care about his well-being and safety! I even get nice photo updates while I’m at work. You can’t beat the experience your dog will get here... they have made my dog well socialized and behaved in a very clean and spacious environment. 100% recommend!
Alisa and Dennis have been amazing to work with. Their hours and rates are more than reasonable, and my high energy dog comes home happy and tired every night! They truly make a great team and I know my dog is in great hands when I drop off. Thank you for everything you do for us! We are so happy to have found you!
I'm so grateful that I found Maribeth and her team! We have had Lynn come to help take care of our cat Rose, and she always leaves such wonderful updates and notes for us, updating us on Rose and her visit! Thank you Lynn and Maribeth! <3<3 My mind is always at ease now whenever we have to go away. I highly, highly recommend using their services!
Maribeth and Cindi are the best of the best. This is my first time hiring a pet sitter for my sweet Chloe - and let me tell you - I was so hesitant to hire anyone that I almost considered not going on vacation. Cindi to the rescue. From the minute I met Cindi, I liked her. She has devoted so much her life to caring and loving on other people's pets - you could tell that she genuinely cares. Cindi sent me such comical write ups daily (twice a day) and a photo. I could tell Chloe was happy and enjoying her time with Cindi. My girl is passive, but social and she pretty much was in charge of her digs while allowing Cindi in to feed her and give her much craved pets and love. As a matter of fact, Chloe loved Cindi so much - she's currently on her picky-food-strike at the moment. I mentioned this to Cindi and her response was.... "Do you want me to go over there and feed her?" Hilarious. In all sincerity - If there were a 10 star rating - Maribeth and Cindi would both get 10 each. Thank you for loving on my girl and for making sure she was well cared for and not forgotten while I was away.
Maribeth and her team were life savers! She was able to squeeze us in last minute when we were suddenly without a pet sitter for an upcoming trip. We messaged her and she came the same day to meet us and our dogs. Her team took great care of our dogs, sending regular reports and photos. The dogs always looked so happy. It put us at ease knowing Maribeth and her team were taking such good care of our pets. We would absolutely use them again, the service was amazing. We highly recommend them. Thank you Maribeth and pup-e-cise.
We have been using Maribeths’ services for several years now. She has been great with all my dogs ( past and present). She truly cares for them. I especially like the email after a visit with an update. It gives me piece of mind, and the services they provide is worth it! Keep up the good work team!
As soon as I met Maribeth, I felt at ease leaving my cat for a week. She sent daily emails and pictures. It's so nice to have a pet sitter I can trust!!
Pup-e-size took care of our 3 cats while we were on vacation. They came in and fed them following our directions to the letter, gave them their treats and meds and even took care of the litter box. They sent us an update with pictures and I knew when they checked in and when they left. They came 2x a day for a full week. The kittens got to stay in their home environment and it was a fraction of the cost of boarding them! I would reccomend them again and again.
We have used them to care for our cats numerous times & have been so happy. Besides caring for our cats they send us daily reports & pictures which make us feel so much more comfortable. In addition they have helped with some mInor tasks such as bringing in the mail which again makes life easier. Highly recommend pup e cise
We used Pup-e-cise during my wedding weekend and were so impressed. The dog sitter left us adorable messages (with pictures!) about our girls and how they were doing. Not once did I feel any anxiety about them, and it was all thanks to Maribeth and her team. Will definitely be using them again and highly recommend to anyone looking for exceptional care of their beloved pets!
I would give them 10 Stars if I could! If you need a pet sitter or dog walker, these are the people you want! Maribeth hooked me up with the perfect match for my new puppy, it was personalized service at it's finest! My pup is truly loved and cared for while I am gone by Tom, and their flexibility is amazing. They have gone above and beyond to accommodate me and my schedule, which can be crazy. Can't say enough positive things about my experience, I tell them all the time they are "the best", and I truly mean it.
Pup-e-cise is amazing. The care that Val in particular provides to our elderly cat when we go away provides us with great peace of mind. The daily written updates (including a photo) helps us remain connected to our pet while we can't be there in person. The team at Pup-c-cise responds immediately to any issues that come up, and has shown great flexibility when travel plans get altered. Thanks for the tremendous care you provide each and every time!
The Dog Chateau is a great experience every time my Rylan is there for daycare or boarding. Marie and all the staff are aware of and attentive to her needs and personality. She loves daycare and Marie for sure !
We love The Dog Chateau! We have been going there for over 2 years now, doing day care once or twice a week. The staff is so nice and truly cares about the dogs. Katara loves being able to run around outside all day! She is always super excited when we get there and happy and tired when we pick her up. I feel very comfortable leaving her there for the day.
You won’t find any place like The Dog Chateau! Phoebe loves daycare days- she is so excited when she walks in, and always crashes hard when we get her home. The spacious indoor and outdoor areas are great; Phoebe has all the room she needs to do her “zoomies”! You can tell as soon as you walk in, that the staff works hard and takes pride in keeping a clean, safe environment for the dogs. The daily pictures on their Facebook page reflect that as well with all of the happy, (some sleepy), well-loved dogs!
My dog Smurf just loves The Dog Chateau and so do I! It’s a social dogs dream. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and love all the Chateau dogs as if they were their own. This place allows dogs to be dogs! They take them on pack walks where they run, play, and sniff in a completely fenced in area. I just love their Facebook page where they post pictures of all the fun daily. The indoor play areas are very spacious and clean. Smurf loves playing with toys and all his friends inside as well. There is some less active time during the day where they can curl up and snooze too. I mean what dog doesn’t want a nap after a full morning of play?! Smurf always comes home fulfilled. He’s sleepy, happy, hungry, and ready to snuggle with us all evening! It’s the best.
My dog has been attending daycare regularly at The Dog Chateau for a little over a year. The drop off and pick up process is quick and simple. My dog arrives excited and leaves exhausted! They are extremely flexible with schedule changes. The staff are especially friendly and knowledgeable. They post pictures daily on their Facebook page. Additionally, I have boarded my dog at The Dog Chateau. They made me feel very comfortable leaving her with someone else for the first time. To tell you that my dog loves The Dog Chateau is an understatement! I highly recommend The Dog Chateau for you and your pup!
The absolute best! An amazing property and facility. Everyone there really cares about the dogs, and they are in good hands. I always look forward to the fb photos of my dog having the best time. My pup always comes home sleepy and happy!!
Dog Chateau is awesome! My dog always have so much fun when she goes to “school.” They have so much space for her to get her energy out. And great rooms for when she needs some alone time. She’s always more well behaved afterwards. Love this place! Would 100% recommend for anyone with a dog with a lot of energy!
We LOVE the Dog Chateau! We've been taking our dog there since he was 4 months old, he's 8 months now, and it was the best decision we made. He is well socialized with other dogs, gets training/exercise and we pick him up a happy sleepy puppy! The staff is knowledgeable and wonderful, making sure all the dogs are comfortable there and are in proper groups based on age and activity level. Your dog isn't a number here. You walk in and they know you and your dog by name, you get updates on how their day is and any training tips you might need! You also get a quick reply when you contact them. For first time owners who work full time we are so happy to have found this place and would recommend to anyone!
I’ve been bringing my dog here since he was 5 months old… he’s 15 months now. He knows where we are as soon as we pull into the parking lot and is always so excited for daycare. He loves all of his doggie friends there and all of the staff! The staff have always been so kind and wonderful every time I go to pick him up and drop him off. I shared some of the pictures they posted of my boy, Oakley on their Facebook page. They post pictures everyday on there too which is another huge bonus.
This place is amazing. Plenty of room outdoors for the dogs to run and play! I love it. I have a very high energy lab puppy and it helps so much that he can take a day or two to have plenty of fun. Bandit always gets so excited to go to daycare and comes back calm and happy :). They have a good staff to dog ratio and aren’t too crowded either.
10000% recommend! She boarded my pup last minute for us and I could not be more happy. You can tell she gave him lots of love. He is also tuckered out on the way home!!!
Libby had a great time at Ardvark, while my husband and I had a little weekend away in Saratoga springs. Tara was so great to our little pup and we got great updates with pics and text so I didn't have to worry about her. We will definitely use ardvark again!
They have always watched my pets. They are affordable, kind, and reliable! They have a fenced yard for dogs. They will also come to your house to check in on a cat.
Absolutely the best and only place you should be bringing your best friend. Cage free living and great folks to boot!
Caring and responsible pet sitters.
