I had an amazing three days with Leo the dog. He is an energetic, handsome boy and also loves to snuggle on your feet when napping. His favourite thing is playing toss the ball from the back deck and he retrieves and brings it back to play again and again. His voice (bark) is used when he tries to tell you something and quite funny actually to observe: Leo is so good on walks and there is so much to see in Manitou Springs and the neighbourhood where Lucia and Jack live, is very quiet and only a short walk to restaurants. Lucia and Jack have a comfortable home and they are so welcoming. I was shown everything for Leo’s care and comfort (I met them a few days before ) and everything needed for my comfort as well. I would definitely recommend hanging out with Leo and wish I was staying longer in Colorado so I could sit again.
We were made to feel very welcome by Trevor, Rachel & Gracie. They generously offered us food and drink from their own larder if we wanted it, thank you. Their home is very comfortable and well equipped and in a lovely location very near the coastal path and within a 10 min drive of lots of beaches and the city of St Davids. Both Dewi & Mole are lovely well behaved dogs, very affectionate & behaved well in the car, they were fine with other dogs when taken on the beach, with good recall. The 4 cats are so friendly & affectionate one of them came with us regularly when walking the dogs around the fields towards the coastal path which is accessible from the house. The chickens were very easy to look after and provided us with delicious eggs. The sheep friendly, especially Ivy, who loves her head scratched. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this sit, we are lucky enough to be returning in May. can't wait !
