We had a marvelous week hanging with Lily and Astro. They are wonderful dogs, sweet, playful and cuddle bugs !! Kathy and Pete made us feel very welcome and have a lovely home.
Our stay at Darci and Jim's home with Max and Bleu was terrific! Max, cuddly 100-pound golden retriever (and lap dog), and Bleu, gorgeous siamese cat, are very loveable: affectionate, playful, entertaining and perfectly happy enjoying both outdoor adventures and quiet downtime. Their independent nature allowed us to comfortably work remotely without disruption. Darci and Jim communicated perfectly with clearly written instructions and texting. The home itself was spacious, super comfortable, and with all the amenities we needed. The neighborhood was another highlight: peaceful, with sidewalks perfect for walking Max, and steps from the Larkspur Trail, which Max thoroughly loved exploring. Max seemed to develop a surprising fondness for my breathwork and meditation sessions. He'd snuggle up close and drift off into a blissful snooze within minutes! Rich and I already miss these two! We feel grateful for the opportunity to care for these wonderful animals and share our love with them.
We had the best first experience on this app sitting for Melissa’s fur babies! Henry and Hattie were the most adorable snuggle bugs, we genuinely started missing them after our stay haha. Melissa made us feel extremely welcome and was always a text away, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
Lars and Naomi have a lovely property surrounded by woods, wildlife and the Eno River. Stella and Rumi were such sweet animals and wonderful hosts. Not only were they fun and easy to care for, but Naomi met with me prior to the start of my sit and left wonderful detailed instructions for the pets and the house. It was such a peaceful retreat in a beautiful natural setting but also super convenient to the city. I especially loved walking with Stella down the nearby trails and enjoying time on the porch taking in the views and sounds of nature right in the backyard! It was cozy and comfortable, and Stella and Rumi made it that much more enjoyable by being so loving and appreciative of me just being there to care for them and stay in their home. We had such a fun time together!
What a lovely experience! Charlotte is the cutest dog; very well behaved, calm at home, and energetic on walks. Very enjoyable and easy to take care of. The apartment is in a nice neighbourhood which is perfect for long walks. Sandy and Charlie made us feel very welcome, and the communication was easy. Their apartment offers everything you need, also access to the rooftop, gym, and penthouse area. Would love to dog sit here again
We had a marvellous time at Rosie and Mikes. Their house and grounds are absolutely gorgeous and filled with all sorts of birdlife. The domestic animals are no bother at all even though each has quite specific routines. (This house sit is probably best for couples rather than single sitters as there is quite lot to do everyday -- easier with two). As the garden is fully enclosed, the dogs see to themselves between feeds and settle down quickly and quietly in the house at night. We stayed in both the cottage and the main house which were comfortable, cosy and stocked with provisions. Rosie and Mike made us feel so welcome, they are perfect hosts and the most generous people. Never short of conversation and much laughter. We also managed to find time to investigate coastal towns and beaches and surrounding countryside which was stunningly beautiful in the sunshine. So, we have no hesitation in recommending Rosie and Mike to future house sitters. Five stars!

This person left the bay window door unlocked, they are totally unconscious and irresponsible! In a neighborhood where there have been numerous thefts in Vevey, this negligence could have had serious consequences for the security of our home. When I told her about this failure, the exchange was lunar: first she denied it, then she minimized it, then she told me an incredible “I couldn’t have known”. While she opened the door herself to access the terrace! To end with a simple “sorry, I wasn’t paying attention”. We're walking on our heads! We also have serious doubts about how much time she actually spent with our cat... And she even took the initiative to water our plants without being asked, which caused them to turn yellow! And despite all these failings, she dared to harass us to be paid only 3 days after the service, going so far as to issue an ultimatum and threaten us with legal action, even though we had clearly assured her on several occasions that she would be paid. . This behavior is simply unacceptable and shows a complete lack of professionalism and respect. In addition, its prices are above average! Putting so much pressure on people is totally mind-blowing. She will certainly not be paid before the legal 30 days, given her behavior. I strongly advise against calling this person. It is a real danger, both for the security of your home and for your peace of mind!!!

Very disappointing experience. Like many dog owners, we were first and foremost looking for a trustworthy person to take care of our animal in our absence. Unfortunately, it was trust that was lacking the most: shortened or sometimes non-existent walks (without informing us), increasingly frequent lies, etc. This person abused our trust and it deteriorated over time. The height of malice: faced with her failings, she stopped overnight providing the service that had been contracted and refused to reimburse the amounts for which payment was required in advance. The complete opposite of a serious and professional service. Avoid at all costs!
We used the services of Thepetsparadise, more precisely Alessandra, for walking our dog. Unfortunately, we had to end this collaboration prematurely due to several shortcomings: Lack of reliability: Alessandra did not provide the agreed walks on several occasions, without warning us in advance. Reimbursement problems: Following the termination of the contract, Alessandra refused to give us the walks already paid for for the month of July and to reimburse us for the amounts paid in advance. We are forced to initiate legal proceedings to recover the amounts owed.
I used Alessandra's ThePetParadise services and was extremely disappointed. My dog's walks were frequently shortened or even canceled without any notice. Despite the termination of the contract, Alessandra, who always asked me to be paid 1 month in advance, refused to reimburse me the amounts due for the services not provided. His behavior is both unprofessional and dishonest. I strongly advise against using his services.

The most organised, well equipped ‘dog hotel’ we have ever experienced. The dogs are so lucky to have so much space and such incredible facilities. The owners are experts and I’m sure none of the dogs want to leave! No comparison.

Extremely disappointed by this pension which at first glance seemed very good to me, having left my dog sometimes for half a day. My dog stayed for one night, I was told in the evening at 10 p.m. that everything was fine. The next morning when I went to pick up my dog at the station according to Madam's request, I saw a very cold person, just polite because my dog would have gnawed a plastic?? Of course, I want to pay for this little damage but Madame doesn't want to know anything about it. So Madam, if my puppy had made a mess, I would have liked to come pick him up from your boarding house and so that I could see with you this "so-called" damage that he had made and not pick him up in the stress of double-lining at the station. In addition I found my dog timid, fearful and not good at all. And last remark, a correct pension does not stand alone. Plus knowing that you work all day on Thursday and Friday, I won't add any comments!! My dog has since found a perfect boarding home where several very competent and trained people work. I only receive compliments on his behavior and the most important thing is that he is happy and comfortable in his skin when I go to pick him up and happy to return there. !!
