We had the best week looking after Oscar. He is such a well trained boy and an easy dog to care for. He is very good on the lead and his recall is excellent. The surroundings of Kathleen’s apartment are stunning, we were able to hike through the woods with Oscar and take in the amazing scenery on our doorstep. The bus ride into Luzern is easy and runs like clockwork. Kathleen gave us a warm welcome and was fantastic at communicating with us before and throughout the sit. Her apartment is beautiful with a view of the mountain. Very well equipped with lovely furnishings. We would highly recommend sitting for Oscar and would love to return in the future. We were sad to say goodbye, he was a joy to be around.
We had a lovely stay at Steve & Sue's gorgeous house. We spent a very pleasant evening with a lovely meal & wine the night before they left. They are a lovely couple who ensured we had everything we needed. The garden was enormous and well maintained. The location is very near Rochechouart with its impressive chateau, restaurants & shops. Saint Junien was a bit further but well worth visiting. We took our cycles and found lots of villages to ride to. Rita was a sweet little cat who would let you know if she wanted feeding or attention. Jeff bonded with.her and she sat on his lap every evening. If you have the opportunity apply. It's 5* Thank you both.
It was a pleasure to housesit for Lucinda and Robert. Their pets, Daisy, Eddie and Harley are all unique personalities and I enjoyed looking after them. Walking with the dogs in Donadea forest is great fun. I highly recommend this sit.
Thank you Adele and Bruce. We had a wonderful stay at your lovely property. We especially enjoyed the tranquility of the natural bush setting, the very close access to the single track MTB bike trails, the stars from the upstairs balcony, the possums, owls, finches and wrens and of course dear Joe, funny Loui and blue chook eggs! Adele and Bruce are a kind, warm hearted, genuine and well organised couple. It was a pleasure to house sit for them and we look forward to returning in April.
Monfils was the easiest cat ever. I went the first two days without seeing him at all since he's an outdoor cat and it was really nice out the first two days; I only knew he had been at the house because his food was gone! I was a bit concerned, but Katie reassured me that was perfectly normal for Monfils. When he did hang around, he was very chatty with me and loved getting pet! He'd also take naps next to me while I worked from home during the day, it was very cute. Monfils is a great cat and I'd definitely sit again. Katie's home is lovely and is also nearby several transit stops which I utilized during my stay here.
Jellybean is the sweetest little doggie 💜💜💜. I completely fell in love with her fun and calm personality. We had many long walks exploring the beach, parks and neighborhood. She is great on leash and liked to go with me to nearby cafes to get breakfast or lunch. Alison was kind and wonderful at communicating what Jellybean needed to be happy. The apartment was very comfortable and I even made the time to have a quick dip in the pool one of the days of my stay. I am looking forward to spending more time with Jellybean on my next sit. jellybean is the best and I already miss her💜✨
