Jenni and Jack were very welcoming, they showed me around the house and where some of Buzz's favorite parks nearby were located. Buzz was very sweet. He loves going on walks in the park and hanging out in the back garden. Overall, it was a great sit and would recommend to other sitters looking to come to London.
Bumble is a gorgeous independent fuss-pot - when it suits him - kind of cat ! Loving and easy to look after. Comes and goes as he pleases - no bother at all. The house is beautifully and carefully furnished and decorated with amazing character, in keeping with the town and fitting for its designer / historian owners. The guest room was lovely, warm and had a fabulous en-suite. The open fire in the lounge was stunning in the cold winter evenings. Step outside the front door and you are straight onto the high street of Chipping Camden, which is one of the best Cotswold towns, with good shops and pubs / cafes - we love it. And at Christmas it looked magical with the whole town decorated with coordinated Christmas lights. Incredible atmosphere. The hosts Charlotte and Peter are well organised, great communicators and most generous and kind and gave very clear instructions for everything. We had no problem at all and felt at ease straight away. Before and during the sit Charlotte and Peter had a very exceptional set of circumstances. Firstly, their daughter could not travel back home and be with Bumble during the Christmas week, due to illness. Charlotte gave us the option to arrive a week early to cover this. We had family commitments over Christmas, but we did step in and stayed one night before Christmas and arrived as soon as we could after Christmas, so that Bumble knew he had company (Neighbours were feeding him at other times). Then a few days into the sit the family had some sad and exceptional circumstances, which meant they needed to return to their home immediately. However, during all this, Charlotte kept us informed and was extremely understanding and generous. We hope to return one day to repay their kindness and generosity. Both parties also received good support from the emergency contact at TrustedHouseSitters.
This was my first house sit and I absolutely loved it. Taylor was really good at keeping intouch with me and any questions I had it was no bother, I felt comfortable reaching out which I think is really important. The house was beautiful and clean, it felt super homely. The neighborhood was really lovely and there were lots of things to do within walking distance. Bruce and Pepper were the stars though, they were such wonderful dogs, so loveable and easy to look after. I really enjoyed walking them both, having cuddles and just spending time with them. I would 100% look after Taylor's furbabies and house again. Thankyou for trusting me to take care of your animals and house ❤️
Charles and Fergus are both amazing people. Upon arrival, Charles went above and beyond to make me a delicious dinner. They are both friendly and make sure you are comfortable in their home. Their communication was excellent. Their house is stunning and feels very homely. It is in the best part of Glasgow. Shops and transport are all an easy walk away but the best part is the riverside walkway right across from the house. It is so green and leads you straight into the botanical gardens. It’s lovely for a sunset walk. I have so much to say about their wonderful pets but I will try to keep it short. I only got to spend a few hours with Jura because he was lucky enough to join them on their trip but in the time I spent with him, I fell in love. He is so gentle and cuddly and taking him for walks is an absolute treat. He is so well behaved. I had the best time with Torquil and Effie. They are so entertaining and made me laugh so much. Torquil loved lying on top of me and is obsessed with face massages. He would give these deep meows when he wanted attention. His strokes are only finished when he’s decided he’s had enough. Effie was my little shadow and followed me around the house wherever I went and slept peacefully at the end of the bed. She gave these little meows and tapped me gently when she wanted more strokes. Whenever I made a little movement, both cats were at my feet waiting for attention. I wish I could take them home with me. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Glasgow. I would return any day and just hope our dates coincide again.
This was my very first sitting experience and I couldn't have asked for a better one! 😊🧡 Zozo and Presley are such precious little angles who greeted me with happiness and excitement and didn't seem to have any trouble adjusting to me. I loved cuddling and playing with them and looking after them gave me so much joy. The walks were super easy and fun as well. There is a big golf course right around the Corner and also a very nice Walking trail through a forest where they can walk off leash. Zozo loved running around and exploring but she always had an eye Out for me and comes back when calling her. Presley can also be very active and playful but is a bit of a slower walker and kept me company. :D They are just such lovely and cute doggos and love to get attention. 🥰 I hope this will not be the last time I get to spend with them. Cass and Dean made sure I had all the information I need when I arrived and made me feel very welcomed. ☺️ The communication was very easy and I can only recommend this whole sitting experience!
I thoroughly enjoyed this sit. Rocky is a very sweet pup who is easy to take care of. John is communicative and made the whole thing go smoothly. The condo is comfortable, easy to get to, and in a great location. Would definitely recommend!
