We had the best of weeks cuddling up with and taking care of Misty while Carol and her family were away. Misty is such a joy to be with and she loves spending time with you without being at all vocally demanding. She’s just there being her beautiful self, wandering around the house with you, sleeping peacefully on the bed, or going for a garden walk! I know favourites are taboo! but guess what!!? We were very sad to leave her and would always be happy to return if avaliable! Woodbury is a quiet village and this large Victorian house was extremely comfortable and as a part-time “work from home sitter” the WiFi and work space were ideal. There’s plenty in the village for short stays without a car but it would be a shame not to have a vehicle as there’s so much to see nearby in the beautiful Devon countryside. We can’t think of anything that wasn’t perfect about this sit and we are so grateful that we connected with Carol who stayed in touch up to the sit, and provided a comprehensive in person handover as well as a home guide. Thank you and we highly recommend this sit!
Allison was a great host, the house had cool & interesting decor, clean & tidy. Honey was amazing so cute & cuddly. Loves to follow you around especially to the bathroom. Would love to house sit again.
I loved my sit at Andrea's place, she did her best to make me feel at home and is a great person to chat with. Cats are the cuttiest, very playful and cuddly but quiet during the night. Rhea is such a gentle soul, never leaved my side and will follow me everywhere I go. Always in to hike, good behavior to go to the restaurant, she is a great company to discover Portland's area. Plus, many parks or hikes accept dogs on leash or off leash.
My recent house sit experience at James’ was nothing short of idyllic. The house was very homely, gorgeous and in such a nice area. James’ communication was great and the house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. However, what truly made this house sit unforgettable were its two adorable canine companions, Bea and Django. From the moment I met them, their playful energy and unwavering affection filled the home with joy. Whether we were exploring the nearby parks or simply lounging their company never failed to brighten my day.

I had a wonderful time with all of the dogs and cats! At first Violet was shy, but she soon joined the rest in the fight for my lap. Everyone was perfectly behaved, even on the rainy days when we were stuck inside. If you want pet therapy-this is the place for you! Cuddlebugs all! Ashley was a wonderful communicator, and I had everything I needed to take care of the animals and sit in the lap of luxury. Unfortunately, I had my first housesitter mishap-one of my pens leaked and caused a big problem that I will make right. That broke my heart because otherwise everything was perfect! If you sit for these wonderful pets you will be very sad to leave. Hudson never left my side, and I miss that very much!
