I really enjoyed my housesit in Seytreux, Jerome and Victoria's home is beautiful and has amazing views. I enjoyed having my morning coffee out on the deck in the sun with Terry for company beside me. Jerome made me feel welcome from the minute I arrived, I had to work for the afternoon and this was no problem for him. I didn't meet Victoria as she had already left when I arrived. Although the location is beautiful there is nothing in Seytreux itself so you really do need a car to get around, there is a bus but it only runs a couple of times a day and it's about a 1km walk from the house so if you have ski equipment/bike/shopping etc it's not ideal. If you are looking for a place with lots of hustle and bustle this is not the place for you, however if you are happy to spend time surrounded by peace and quiet then it's ideal. And the icing on the cake, Terry, he's got such a great personality. He took a few days to warm to me but once he did he was quite chatty, especially when he wanted his wet food in the morning and evening. He comes and goes as he pleases using his cat flap but he also likes to spend time on the balcony and he needs his human slaves to open the door for that. I knew I was fully accepted when he brought me a 'gift' of a mouse :). If he allows you to pick him up then he will give you kisses which is really sweet. He's not a lap cat but he likes to know where you are and be near you (when it suits him). We spent most evenings in the living room just chilling out, me on one section of the couch and him on the section beside me. There is a great ski shop in the nearby village of St Jean and there is a small ski station there too which is quite nice if you don't want a big ski area. The nearest big supermarket is just between St Jean and Morzine (Intermarche). Morzine/Les Gets/Avoriaz are all very close by, approx 15 mins by car. So if you need some day/night life then you can head off there to get your fix. (a tip for car hire, I hired mine from the French side of Geneva airport and the price difference was significant). If you are into hiking and/or biking there are local groups you can meet up with. This is one of the nicest sits I've done so far, it was exactly as expected, Jerome couldn't have been more welcoming or nicer and Terry is one of the nicest cats I've ever sat for. I'm really going to miss him. If you get the opportunity to sit for Jerome and Terry take it, you won't be disappointed.

Both Draco and Georgia are very nice pets and the time spent with them was very pleasant. Giving medicine to Draco was not a problem at all. I highly recommend choosing this place to stay in Madrid!
Our experiences pet sitting have been great and this one was just exceptional! Celia and Atty have a wonderful home set in one of the most beautiful places you could hope for, amongst lovely and interesting neighbors. Taking care of their precious dogs was a delight - over the days we were there we really saw their individual personalities. They were so sweet and loving and always excited to go out for a walk. We were thrilled to be chosen for this sit and would definitely come back!
Mark was very hospitable; welcoming us with a meal and showing us Milo's favourite walks. His home is immaculate and very spacious. Perfect for working remotely in a peaceful atmosphere. The biggest positive is Milo. He is the sweetest boy who will always come to you tail wagging and toy in mouth. He is extremely easy to care for and loves humans. I misunderstood Mark's arrival day at the end of the sit and he was very understanding about it. I was very disappointed as I'd wanted to have the house perfect for his return but he was very reassuring and kindly accepted us to sit again in July so I'm hoping we can do an even better job then.
We loved sitting for Jamie and Dan! Their dogs were so sweet. Maggie and Meatball just want to chill and nap outside and Addie is a true Shepherd who loves to play and never puts her toys down! The home location was wonderful, we were able to hang out on the back porch, play a round of golf, and enjoy the local beach area. The dogs are early risers, so you'll need to wake up at 630/7 and be ready to play! Communication with Jamie and Dan was easy and always fast replies, we hope to visit again someday soon!
