We had a great few days caring for lovely Kimba in Scotland.
Jackie and David are really friendly and hospitable and supplied excellent information regarding their home and the local surroundings.
The location is great for walking, near hills lochs and sea. Helensburgh is well served with good eateries and a brilliant rail service.
Kimba is easy going and just loves to sit on a warm cosy knee or have a brush outside watching the birds on the feeder in the beautiful garden.
We loved it.

My sit with Fingal for Jayne and Simon went smoothly for the most part. Fingal is good company and the house is comfy and close to amenities.

Jayne and Simon are lovely and picked me up from the station, ran me to the supermarket on the edge of town for a proper shop and fed and wined me that night; quite a lovely welcome!

Fingal is sweet boy, but suffers from separation anxiety; the first night after his owners left, he whined and barked a few times in the night until I would come down to 'settle him'. He relaxed slowly after that, but I only left him on a couple of occasions for up to an hour to top-up provisions, and was welcomed back as if I'd been gone for ages. But he will settle at your feet whilst you work from a table or desk and will cuddle with you on the sofa at night watching telly.

We had a hiccup at the end of the stay: I hadn't asked about the exact time they were due home and assumed it would be sometime between morning - early evening. But, Jayne & Simon's flight wasn't scheduled back until 9pm with an hour's drive on top which didn't get communicated until the day before their return, at which point Jayne suggested I stay the night. Unfortunately, my airbnb couldn't be cancelled on such short notice. A lesson for us all: remember to discuss exact timings and expectations of sitter departure times.

This was such a lovely sit with Oscar that I didn't want it to end!
Oscar is an elderly gentleman of 17 who loves his fuss and cuddles. His needs are straightforward: there are sachets of renal diet (he has struggling kidneys) and renal biscuits. He needs plenty of fresh water, and his litter tray needs attention. Due to his advanced years, Oscar sleeps a great deal.
Catherine is a wonderful host and her house is immaculate, easy to keep clean and extremely comfortable. It's located in a peaceful cul-de-sac overlooking fields on the edge of Lower Westwood village, just outside Bradford on Avon. The village has an interesting National Trust manor house, and the surrounding area has stunning scenery and plenty of interesting places to visit. I can wholeheartedly recommend this sit - thank you Catherine and Oscar!

I had great time in basel!
Jacqui is so friendly and teach you all the things that you need to know.
Lomi and Luya are super cute and funny, and are very easy to take care for ( only feed and and clean liter boxes once a day, and give a lot of love of course!)
The house is big with a guest room for you, and with two balconies for you and for the cats.
and the house is in a great location, near basel sbb, right on a tram, and walking / biking distance from everywhere.
If you have a chance take it, and enjoy Basel, the cute cats and meeting with Jacqui

Had a lovely weekend sitting Jonathan and Clove. They were very easy going, no issues at all. I loved when I’d go out for a walk and come back in they’d come and greet me. They love their food, and snuggles, and the flat is really well set up to making looking after them easy.

Karen & Michael we superb hosts, we had a warm welcome and they made us feel like old friends. They showed us around the house and gave us lots of information. We also had a lovely evening meal on arrival with a couple of glasses of wine. They have a lovely home, warm and cosy. Clover and Daisy were lovely to look after, Daisy was happy to come and say hello and be fussed, she was really easy to look after. Clover was so funny at times and just loved being cuddled in the evening. She was very well behaved off and on the lead. There were some nice walks available straight from the house, but it was a good job we took our wellies as the local area got quite flooded. There were plenty of places to visit within a short drive away, National Trusts, Cowdry Ruins, and the Weald & Downland Living Museum ( The Repair Shop) to name a few, all dog friendly.
We can thoroughly recommend this sit.
