Wonderful place to take your dogs! My dog is like a cherished member of the family when he goes to this daycare. I always hear about who he plays with and his new girlfriends of the week haha. They are lovely and I've recommended them to people I've met along the way. He's safe and very cared for when he goes and I don't have a worry in the back of my mind about safety. Also they've taken my dog on shorter notice without hounding me so I appreciate that as my work schedule can be hectic.

Overjoyed I brought senior dog (14yo) here for nail trims and then today she had a full groom. The staff are phenomenal. Excellent at their craft and very loving with dogs. My old gal was terrified of nail clippers and her nails were getting so long and uncomfortable. I tried a dremle with limited success and painfully slow progress. Upon recommendation I reached out to Roving K9 who said they could help and to bring her in. Andrea was fast with the clippers my dog didn't even realize what had happened lol. With lots of praise and treats her nails were successfully trimmed in minutes. WOW! We had some more visits to work the nails back to proper position and she is so much more comfortable now. So thankful to have found this wonderful, caring business! THANK YOU ROVING K9!!

We were visitors passing by. Super fast registration with full service daycare (e.g. grooming for extra fee). Price was reasonable compared to Calgary. My corgi loved it there. Also great hours! Opened until 830pm on weekdays. Note there is very limited free street parking only

I'm not sure the grooming skills are all that great! Paying $210 and getting a breed dog back totally shaved that should NEVER be shaved, is absolutely ludicrous! Asked for a summer haircut for my Bernese Mtn Dog X and got a skinned dog. No grooming skills required to make dog look...quite frankly hideous is pretty bad!!

Great place! Andrea is amazing, a perfect fit for our hard-to-handle rescue. Five stars just aren't enough, 10 out of 10 for sure!

My 14yr old dog and I decided to give Roving K-9 Kare a try today for a last-minute nail trim. He's had some poor experiences at other locations in Kamloops for several reasons and since then it's been a real struggle finding folks who can get a full nail trim in with my pups declining patience. The team at Roving K-9 Kare were fantastic! Extremely quick, no fuss, and my pup didn't seem the least bit concerned. Thanks!

My Italian greyhound loves it here, I drop him off for daycare when I have to go to work and I know he’s in good hands. When I drop him off he runs to the other dogs and doesn’t even look back at me… I’m very happy with the services they provide and how much the staff love and care the dogs they have. Mine is in training and it’s awesome getting tips and advice from Andrea on how to get my lil lad to be well mannered. Definitely recommend this business!

I started taking my puppy for doggy daycare, she is an anxious pup and has a hard time with new experiences, the staff were so great and patient with her and really got to know her. She absolutely loves going now, and can't wait to get in the door to see them! All the staff are so friendly and amazing and truly seem to love each dog that comes in the door!

I cannot recommend Alyssa enough! Professional, very educated in animal behaviour, easy to communicate with and, most importantly, she truly loves the animals. My big boy loved her, would race to the door when he heard her car and whine at her voice when I played videos of their daily adventures. Pictures from their adventures would always brighten my day at work, and I always knew he was in great hands with her and would come home happy and tired. They don't come any better than Alyssa!

Wandering Paws is amazing group of people that take such wonderful care of your Dogs. The hikes are very well-thought-of for your dog's ability. With the pictures that they take you know that you have been a part of their experience.

Kamloops, you don’t know how lucky you are! Alyssa has been walking our little Beagle weekly and boarding her occasionally for 3+ years. We would recommend her without hesitation. She treats every dog (from well behaved to misunderstood) as if they were her own. She absolutely loves her job and you can tell by how she gives each dog her warmth and attention. Our Beagle can be stubborn and has had a slew of health issues, but Alyssa has always been supportive, understanding and helpful in managing each issue as it comes. Alyssa has cared for our fur babies for a long time and they love her! It's a good feeling when you leave your dog with someone and they don't even look back because they're so excited to be with her. She's reliable, trustworthy and most importantly, she will care for your pets like they are her own. We had Alyssa do house visits when we were away for the cat and fish while boarding our dog with her. When we were home, she took our dog for potty breaks, group walks and around the block walks. I would recommend Alyssa/Petplayland Pet Care for all your pet care needs. Truly awesome service.

Alyssa is an angel ! Showers my dog with affection and has worked with him from private walks as a slightly reactive dog to being on group walks with numerous dogs. 11/10 would recommend.

We all love Alyssa, dogs, kids and adults alike. Didn't want to entrust my fur babies to anyone, but met Alyssa and Lisa in a dog park and could see that they obviously knew what they were doing, with positive reinforcement and amazing attention to the individual dogs' needs, wants, fears. Very happy with the services provided, would recommend 100%.

Really unfortunate set of experiences with this company. We were genuinely excited to bring our dog to daycare here but the extremely poor communication motivated us to find an alternative. Lots of punitive language throughout the application process and generally just a negative experience. After a very curt response when we were missing some info during the application process, we resubmitted and never heard another word. At the least, if anything was incorrect or still required, a reputable business would take the time to inform or attempt to correct. Not this one! Boarders beware.

First brief encounter so can't offer detailed review, but very good first impression. Friendly welcome, our puppy was greeted and introduced in a very professional manner to the other dogs on site, and had a great time. Although the place is just getting organized, it looks well laid out and welcoming. The young couple who are owner managers seem very skilled with dogs, and their business plan seems to make sense.

We used to love we love dogs when the previous owners James and Emily were running it. Since new ownership, every visit we had troubles with miscommunication. My dogs would only go when we went out of town, I went to book them in and was told that one of my dogs had been ‘destructive’ in a previous visit, so they would book them in this time and monitor his behaviour. Being a diligent dog owner, I wanted to know what kind of destructive things my dog did during his last boarding, to which I was given no details, there were no notes on his file other than ‘was destructive’, and the staff member who made the note was no longer working there. Additionally, I wasn’t told about this until the next visit which I find unacceptable, if my dog is being destructive I should be notified upon pickup. So we boarded them for the weekend and I was told that he was good and there were no issues. Fast forward to booking them in a few months later, I run into the same problem where they were reluctant to book him again because of this ONE note a former employee made, even though he had a successful visit since. Also, I had made two bookings for back to back weekends, ended up cancelling one because we no longer needed it, and then when I went to confirm drop off times for the booking I kept, they said they had no record of the dogs coming these days. So they cancelled the wrong dates, I was able to confirm this by checking previous messages. This was all back in 2020, so maybe it has improved since then, but we have not gone back because of recurrent miscommunication problems.

We have now taken our puppy to We Love Dogs several times a weeks for a few months, and I have to say, they are amazing! They really DO love dogs, and it shows! They treat Poppy with love and respect, and understand her energy. We can run errands or get some work done, knowing that Poppy is safe, learning to play nicely with others, and having a wonderful time. She is a happy and contented (and tired) puppy when we pick her up. Thank you, We Love Dogs!

I've been going to We Love Dogs now for about 8 months for my chihuahua/pomeranian Roxy's grooming. They ALWAYS do it the way I ask them to and she looks perfect every time. Although they are busy and sometimes you have to wait a few days to get an appointment, it is well worth it! They also treat Roxy very well in my absence. My little dog is terrified of being apart from me and when she returns from grooming she is calm and balanced (although incredibly happy to be clean and back with me). I've left my dog with other groomers and Roxy comes back traumatized. They have a very nice environment for dogs there. They also have the "Dog Taxi" which I utilize. When I am not up to driving, I just ask them to pick her up or drop her off and it only costs me $5 (but I live downtown). I love the staff and the place is clean. I highly recommend We Love Dogs.

Well staffed. Clean. Safe. Multiple areas where big dogs, small dogs, old dogs and energetic dogs can be separated. Space for doggy time outside. Outdoor spaces are fenced, shaded and with turf. Play equipment inside. Overnight boarding available and open early in the morning to 7pm for regular daycare. Our dog loves it and we feel she is well loved there. Open weekends and holidays too.

Back in March I contacted We Love Dogs about getting my two pups in for a trail day - we had just moved to Kamloops and this dog daycare facility looked most similar to the one we went to in Calgary. My dogs love daycare and I work long hours so I was excited that We Love Dogs opened early and I could still get there after work They got me to fill out the paper work and send in my dogs vaccine records which I did. After that they let me know they were renovating, so any trial days would have to wait for a couple weeks to a month and they would be in touch with me. Sure - no problem! A month or so goes by and I email just checking up. Their renovations are taking longer, you know how renos go. Of course! No worries. Let me know when they are done. Last week I see on their Facebook they have a new pup at daycare in a picture they post. So I send a email asking if I can now have my trial day for my dogs? No response. What a waste of time and what horrible customer service. If they give you this much of a run around for months I wouldn’t even feel comfortable leaving my dogs here. Bring to TLC where you can get a response.

My dog attends daycare at this facility regularly. She is insanely rambunctious but the staff at WLD is always happy to see her. I rarely have any issue getting in for daycare or overnight, even if I book last minute (although I know that may not be the case for large dogs as those spots are in higher demand). I wish that the dogs had more space both inside and outside to play, but I think that WLD provides quite a bit for being in the middle of the city. Conveniently located and excellent hours. Gill at the front desk is amazing and always answers any questions I have.

This is a wonderful place to take your dog. The owners and staff are so loving towards the animals and I feel like they are treated like they are part of their big family. My puppy comes home tired which is fantastic on busy days. Would highly recommend We Love Dogs.

We Love Dogs is the best place to bring our 'less than sociable' pup. The staff at WLD always make her feel welcome. She returns home happy. The facility is well laid out offering dogs a pleasant experience. The service is friendly, couldn't ask for more - good work WLD!!

It was very hard for us to find someone to look after our fur babies, and to stay at our house at the same time while we were away, so we just never travelled together. Once we discovered MuttHut all that changed. Jillian was amazing, very professional and our dogs were very comfortable with her. We felt at ease to have her staying at our house while we were away, and were able to enjoy our time away without worrying about what was happening at home. We highly recommend MuttHut if you ever need this type of service for your fur babies.

Jill has watched our dogs for us a few times now. Our dogs LOVE her! She spoils them so much and always sends us lots of videos and pictures while we are away. She has given us so much reassurance while we are away on holidays knowing our fur babies are well taken care of.

I have my beautiful 5 month old pup at the facility in the bootcamp program. I can't stress enough the importance in training your pup or dog. He also does hands on training with you and your dog together. It will make your life more pleasurable with your companion. You have to put all your trust in Fernando and let him do his work. This is a message received by the Guru himself. All because someone doesn't recommend his service. I didn't agree with his method when it came to my dog and I found it only made her more aggressive and food possessive. When my dog came home from the bootcamp all of her toys and her bed all smelt like pee. I was disappointed to discover this as I know my dog at home didn't have any accidents indoors. His method of not feeding my dog the day that we were training didn't feel right to me. I followed his instructions as I was hopeful that this professional knew what he was talking about. He never did any positive food rewards so the fact that I was instructed not to feed her the days of training left me confused. He said it would help motivate her to follow the instructions and listen better. I found she became an even bigger floor surfer and looking into everything and anything she could get herself into on those days. Any other day when she was fed she was fine. I personally will not be taking any future dogs there and will not recommend him to anyone. He thinks positive reinforcement training isn't for most dogs and fear based training is the best and fastest route for a well behaved dog. My dog is now a happy balanced dog, but it definitely wasn't thanks to the Guru.

I rescued a very fear agressive 31/2 yr old great Dane. 180lbs at the end of the leash. I could not walker her without a pinch collar that she came with. I have had rescues in the past but never had to deal with such behavior issues. Found Fernando on Google. During our first meet chance went from high alert in control to calm submissive. Without and ecollar or use of the pinch collar. My girls spent 3 weeks at the kennel where we were able to give her confidence back. Socialize her and help me learn to be a pack leader. We were able to go for long walks and pass other dogs with zero reaction. As well as socialize with other dogs in a controlled environment. I had my girl 6yrs. Whenever i had to go away I would take her to Fernando's . She would start chatting as soon as we came off the highway. She was soooo excited. Couldn't get inside fast enough. Not even a goodbye for me lol. The staff would often sit and snuggle with her. Human size lapdog lol. I am grateful for Fernando's guidance and training. It enabled us to have an amazing 6 years together. I will be forever grateful. When I find my next girl I will definitely go back and introduce her and let her become part that amazing pack 🐾❤️

We have had two dogs trained over the years at this facility and both experiences have been amazing! Yes they use ecollars but the are used with verbal commands. My dog gets excited to see it because she knows that it is time to go out. Hardly ever need to use it because verbal commands are so good. Sadly we rehomed a shepherd because he really needed a job (he herds cows now) but his new owners are very impressed with how well trained he is. If we ever get another dog this is where they will be coming!! We live in Alberta and would not hesitate to make the trip!

Our experience with Fernando and his staff was amazing from the very beginning. My 6 month old German Shepherd was out of control. I had to walk him early in the morning and late at night because he was reactive. I could not have him around friends or family. The day I dropped him off we were greeted by a young man that gave me assurance that I had made the right decision. He shared that Fernando had trained both his dogs and told me a few stories of other clients. The rest of the staff were super friendly and helpful. It was clear they loved their job and the dogs that they cared for. Once Fernando had my dog trained it was my turn and Fernando was amazing with both of us. He was firm, caring and supportive. I was able to interact with other Pet Parents and now feel part of a community. Fernando instilled a confidence in me that has helped me be a better leader for my pup. I am able to have my family and friends visit and I am able to walk him in busy areas during the day. My dog and my relationship with him have truly been transformed and I am so very grateful. I HIGHLY recommend Fernando and his staff.

Our pup loves this place. We have a large breed dominant dog. She has been with Fernando and the team in day school, day care and an overnight boarding. We are completely satisfied with all areas of the facility. His prices are great for the care you are getting. I can confidently take Molly around dogs on and off leash around people and kids and know she will do as told. I can always reach Fernando with questions that come up. Day care has long hours for easy drop off and pick ups. She has met so many fur friends. Molly is excited to go and comes home tired. I recommend you meeting Fernando and checking out the facility!

Fernando and his facility are TOP NOTCH! He really cares about you and your dog, he’s the real deal. Only took 20 mins with my young mastiff and her behaviour changed, with consistency and support she ended up being an amazing dog! I’ve applied all that I’ve learned over the years from Fernando to each of my dogs, they all have responded so well and are incredible pups!! I would absolutely and have absolutely recommended Fernando and the Facility! We are forever grateful!!

Fernando is extremely knowledgeable with handling dogs with all types of diverse abilities. His approach is always with best intentions and love. He not only creates strong rapports with the owners, guiding them with better understanding of dog behaviour, he also creates unbreakable bonds with the dogs he works with. He has a kind, loving heart for breeds that are misunderstood and has opened his facility to dogs and families going through unforeseen circumstances. Any negative reviews of this facility should be viewed with caution as Fernando has been nothing short of amazing to the Kamloops and surrounding communities. I highly recommend anyone struggling with their dogs behaviour, should seek professional advise from Fernando and his wonderful staff. Fernando will go above and beyond to help all of his customers to assist them with techniques, structure, routine, follow through and give you back the reassurance that all dogs can overcome barriers and behavioural struggles.

10/10 Brazilian Dog Guru in Kamloops has always been there for us. We have a 170lb Boerboel. Other Kennels make excuses not to take her, as she is big and intimidating, but the Dog Guru has come thru for us 100% of the time. Highly recommend these folks. I have called them last minute multiple time, and always find a way to say “YES” to us. Thanks for bailing us out again folks, you saved our family vacation to Mexico. Nala loves them, well treated by them, and is always happy to walk thru their doors.

I adopted a Staffordshire terrier . Rosie was a sweet dog but had no manners at all! I tried treat training and was unsuccessful. I could not handle her on walks and her aggression to other dogs. I brought her to Fernando at Brazilian Dog Guru for boot camp. He trained her, and me! Now, I am so thrilled that I can walk Rosie and she is wonderful companion! Rosie enjoys going back for "holidays" when I leave her for boarding. She is always excited to see the staff and Fernando. I 100% recommend Brazilian Dog Guru

We brought our pups here when we had to go away for a family emergency and the wagging tail was so awesome, and the dogs had a great time! Definitely a hidden gem! Highly recommend.

Our dogs love going to see Brooke and their friends at Wiggle Pups! Brooke is flexible, easy to work with and treats ours dogs so so good! We are so grateful too have somewhere we trust for our dogs to go!

My pup LOVES wiggle pups. Every time we pull into the driveway he gets so excited and does the boxer kidney bean every time he sees Brooke. Wiggle Pup's has great pickup and drop off hours and I love that it is a smaller daycare so that I know my pup is getting the attention he needs.

My dog Jake has been going over the past few months. He gets so excited everytime we pull into the driveway. It has taught him social skills with other dogs. He adores Brook. I have peace of mind knowing he is having fun while I'm working. Highly recommend.
