We really couldn't have asked for more. Kelsey planned everything so well, which made us feel so much more prepared as it was our first house sitter. Kelsey kept us updated with funny videos of our cats and what they were up to and it allowed us to have a great holiday with no worries about how the cats were coping at home. She perfectly understood their needs and went beyond what we asked to keep them entertained, being Maine coon cats they need human interaction, this brings out there quirks and Kelsey loved giving us feedback on what they were up to. She loved and cared for them like they were her own and they bonded with her so well. The flat was clean, tidy and organised for our return home and even made the bed for us with fresh sheets, without us asking, as we arrived home late. We hope she wants to come back again. Our housesit in San Carlos for Layla was idyllic. When we first stepped into the house and met the family and their sweet and super smart dog, Layla, we knew that it would be a great experience for all of us. The home is beautifully situated overlooking the canyon with a view of the bay. It's three stories, with a super cozy den and large projection tv and an outdoor kitchen and sitting area. San Carlos has a small town feel with nearby dog parks, restaurants, a Sunday farmer's market and so much more. We took Layla all over the place. She accompanied us to dinner, to dog parks, to the beach. What a trooper! She just wanted to be with her people. Tony and I loved every moment of our time taking care of her and would be thrilled to return one day.

I’ll be honest here; I’ve felt like a terrible dog mum lately having to work so much and some days only managing a quick walk around the block with my little mate Harry, or a 15 minute ball throw in the park. I saw Troy post in my local FB group offering dog walking services so I decided to send him a message; and I am so, so glad I did. Troy’s communication was excellent, and within a few hours he’d answered any/all of my questions (I wasn’t sure how Harry would go on a group walk as he’s used to either solo walks, or just running around like a lunatic at daycare!) I booked Harry in for his first walk and when Troy arrived, gave me a big hug and spent some time introducing himself to Harry (who was barking furiously at this “stranger!”) Harry immediately calmed down, and within a few minutes, very happily abandoned me to jump in his new best friend Troy’s van 😂 Troy let me know Harry was being a very good boy, and he even sent through some hilarious photos of Harry’s first group outing 🥹 Now, what I found genuinely surprising was, when Harry got home, he was ACTUALLY TIRED! I’ve often felt like a full day at daycare overstimulates him, so he comes home with seemingly MORE energy; but the couple of hours he spent out and about with Troy was the perfect amount of time to actually just tire and satisfy him. And on top of all this, Troy’s prices are so reasonable, Harry can go on TWO outings a week (which is now what I’ve got him booked in for) for the same price as I’d budgeted for one day at daycare! Honestly, I know this review is a bit lengthy, but I am just over the moon that I found Troy. I instantly feel relieved Harry won’t be stuck at home on my longer days at work, that this wont break me financially, AND I know he is in the safest hands with his new best friend, Troy. Chico has been going walking with Troy now for over 12 months. He so looks forward to the walks with Troy and his dog pals. Troy is a caring, professional person who takes the best care of Chico. Chico can have his challenges and Troy has gone out of his way to try different things and work with us to make sure Chico has a great experience. Would recommend Troy to anyone who needs to have their dog well cared for and taken on regular walks.
Troy is very loved by our dog Billie, she goes out with the play group a couple of times a week and always comes back tired and happy! He is easy to communicate with and always punctual - would recommend this service to anyone with a pet in the area!
Troy has been a great dog walker for our dog. Our dog was not very social but Troy has been great in encouraging him to join the other dogs, and now he can't wait for his weekly outings with Troy.

My border collie cross, Vino, had the BEST time with Dogs Life. Pick up and drop off was so smooth and convenient and I loved seeing the pics throughout the day. He was so exhausted, Vino walked himself to bed as soon as he got home.
Troy is very personable yet professional and my dog ADORES him. Effortless pick-up/drop off, and Penny comes home with a WAGGING tail exhausted. Photos from the daily adventures are a nice touch, it's a blessing to know how happy, safe and well cared for all of the Pooches are. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
So happy i stumbled across Dogs life…. Troy takes the best care of my highly energetic and naughty pup, he’s so happy, exhausted and has the best time with his new puppy play group! Awesome communication, genuinely cares about your dogs needs and puts in the effort, matches your dog to the right group which is so important. Definitely recommend!!
Our Frankie loves his weekly group walks with Dogs Life Brisbane. Troy is excellent to deal with, super reliable and we trust him completely with our our boy. Frankie loves Troy and gets so excited to see him as he knows he is going to have great fun and adventures. When he returns home he is happy and content.
Troy and Dogs Life Brisbane are incredible. Great communication and I know each time Ralph goes on an adventure he’s safe and well looked after. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for regular walks or an overnight stay!
Our border collie girl has been attending DDCB for 14 months and we absolutely love the way the team embrace Piper like she is one of their own. The enrichment activities reinforce the skills we’re teaching her at home & it provides great comfort to know she’s so well taken care of by the team instead of at home alone.
I would be lost without these guys. Jaffa is an anxious and shy pup and he loves it here. He gets involved in activities and loves all the teachers. He especially loves taking a break and going on a walk and train with Liz during the day. He has been coming here since we did puppy school here and he is now almost three. Highly recommend.
We were a little nervous having our 2 year old rescue girl groomed for the first time, but the guys at DDC exceed all expectations. They took time to understand her needs and eased her into the grooming experience - the groom itself is AMAZING! I didn’t think our girl could get any cuter but somehow you made it happen! I can't rate this daycare highly enough! If there were ten stars, I'd give them all to Kaz and her amazing team. Special mention to Liz too who trains my pup Gigi. She's amazing and Gigi is complimented often on her manners and training. Gigi started here from around four months of age (she's been going now for nearly 18 months) and she's loved every day she's attended (pretty much five days a week). The team have such a genuine love for the dogs in their care and you feel that from the minute you step foot inside this daycare. I did trial days of three daycares and was concerned beforehand that I would struggle to choose one. I needn't have worried. I knew instantly that this was the one for us. I felt very confident that Gigi would be cared for, loved, supported, and that we'd found a lovely second home for her. I actually could type an essay for this review, but I'll stop here. I can't recommend this daycare enough. It's Gigi's last week there this week and I am so sad to be leaving. And I'll tell you that when I made a pros and cons list of moving out of this area, I absolutely factored in that Gigi would no longer be able to come here. Our pups are our babies and Kaz and her team have loved Gigi like their own.
The Dog groomer Maki is absolutely beautiful 😍 She is caring, profesional, excellent customer service. I love the way she tells me politely how to look after my doggie and cares for my Poppy girls wellbeing. She is honest and consistent with her work. Doggy Day Care Brisbane provides an exceptional care for my fur baby when my partner works away from home. Their staff quality is superb and I can tell they all genuinely love dogs so I know my baby will be in good hands when she’s with DDCB! Highly recommend!
Lead Manners Training I attended the Lead Manners Training back in July of this year and it has been the best course I have done with my puppy. I have a Mini Dachshund and before doing this course he pretty much refused to walk. He was so stubborn and would want to just sit in the park:-). He would also get far too excited if there were any other dogs around. However, after just the first lesson of the Lead Manners course I could put strategies in action and noticed improvements instantly. We now go on lovely long walks together and he is the dream dog to walk with. He even sits beautifully while waiting for me to order a coffee! Liz and Chloe are the most wonderful and patient instructors and had great tips and advice. I highly recommend this course!
My dog and I love everything about this place. We've just completed their back 2 basics training and it was so good, it's a 6 week course with a small group and it has definitely been helpful and the trainers are very attentive and loving. Thanks Liz for all the help with Poppy 🥹 I'd definitely recommend their daycare as well as their training sessions.
The best doggy daycare ever! We’ve been taking our Vizsla Louis here for two years and I recommend it to everyone. Kaz and her team are wonderful, genuine, and truly care for the dogs as if they were their own. I particularly love seeing the social media updates of the new activities he’s been up to that day. Warning - if you send your dog here, prepare for them to love the teachers more than you (shoutout to Miss Sam 😂)
Love this place! Dogs always have a great experience. All the staff love the dogs and work so hard to give so much love to every dog with the utmost care for their happiness and well-being. Training is also so good! Trainer Liz helps so many dogs and their parents as well as the girls in the back with the different enrichment!
Brendan is always happy to help with the cats and as timid as they are, they greet him everytime they see him and love playing with the other animals. Great guy and great service.
