Staying at Jennifer and Jay's house has been such a great experience! I went with my best friend, María, only for a few days and we wish it could have been longer :D The three dogs are really easy to take care of. Keskiyo needs some medication twice a day, but it is not complicated and he takes it happily. Maija loves to be around the office, so she was always there with me while I was working. Tuuli was shy at the beginning but just one day was enough to have her always next to us, asking for cuddles. The three are quiet and well-behaved dogs, and SO GORGEOUS! The house is big, with lots of light and several bedrooms and bathrooms. Everything was clean and tidy, the kitchen is fully equipped. We couldn't enjoy the pool because the weather was a little cold for us, but we definitely had a great time relaxing outside. The surroundings are quiet and beautiful, perfect to walk the dogs as you find a lot of parks and green areas. There is also a restaurant in the GolfClub with amazing views of the golf camp. If you have a car, which I would recommend, you can drive 15m to the city of Murcia or 30m to spend some time at the beach. We did both and loved it! Thank you Jennifer and Jay for opening your home and trusting us to take care of your cute dogs. It has been a pleasure to meet you and I hope we have the opportunity to see you again!
We had a wonderful time with Rob, Sharon and Riley. Yes, the house is probably the nicest you'll ever stay in for a house sit, but that only ranks 3rd as to why you'd want to apply for this sit. First is Rob and Sharon: they're simply wonderfully kind, hospitable people. They'll make you feel at home from the time you arrive (and they may feed you as well)! They're just great people. They made everything concerning Riley's care very clear with the great sitter's manual, and they responded promptly to the few questions we had while they were gone. Second... Riley... We'd like to think we had a special relationship with Riley, but he's just such a loveable little character that everyone naturally connects with him. He's a happy little dog that you'll be attached to shortly after making his acquaintance. He loves to be with people 24/7 (and he doesn't even hog the bed at night)! And, yes, the house is incredible. All that being said, you'll really enjoy this sit if you're fortunate enough to be invited!
Wendy and Terry were so sweet and helped me get settled at their home. You can tell they love their neighborhood. I absolutely enjoyed the trails and beach at Point Defiance park and lounging on their deck with an incredible view. Felt like I was on a retreat. Kazoo is a super sweet pup, I love how excited she gets for her little walks. I would definitely housesit here again.
I had an amazing experience looking after Uma at Sharon and Jacks place. Uma was the sweetest cat I’ve ever met, she was super friendly from the start and a breeze to look after. She was sooooo fluffy and always after a belly rub, I was very happy to oblige. Sharon and Jack were great hosts, clear and easy instructions and they were always a text away to answer any questions. The house was clean and had everything I needed, close to public transport and the canal. I would happily stay here again.
This is a truly lovely housesit. Sian is a warm, kind and totally genuine person. She made us so welcome, and gave us suggestions of nice walks in the area. Her cottage is utterly charming. Perry is delightful, a pretty, dainty little cat with a very sweet personality. She enjoys going out during the day, but came in each evening for cuddles. We thoroughly enjoyed it, highly recommend this sit, and we would love to sit again and spend more time with Perry.
We loved our stay in Paola's home. By the time we sitted they only had Goia and she is sweet and well behaved. Communication with them was great and they are very nice people. I totally recommend.
