Dog Sitters in Kansas City, MO

Greg and Joni were amazing dog sitters. My girl, Kisses, went on a hunger strike and they handled it well. They were always attentive and gave her lots of love and affection along with her protests to even go outside. They gave me daily updates and also allowed me to FaceTime my girl during her hunger strike. I also had a building snafu that made them park in another location the first night and move their car the second night. I was so afraid that would disrupt their stay and they simply rolled with the punches. Oh, and Greg fixed my patio door screen that had fallen off in the storm in July. So handy and resourceful. I so appreciate the handyman skills. I highly recommend Greg and Joni to your next sit as they are well-seasoned travelers and so very personable and reliable (as I was able to meet them the night before). They were so concerned about my dog and went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable.

Mitzi was a true gem!! She was so responsive and flexible, even when we had an issue on our end with the dates. She took amazing care of our pup and left our house immaculate. While being responsive Mitzi was also very self sufficient.

Ashleigh was great with Buck the kitty and my home. Very responsive, and I would welcome her back any time. Thank you Ashleigh!

Stephanie was one of our favorite zeewoi sitters. For this sit, we were having a tough time finding a good sitter but at the last minute, Stephanie submitted her application and right from the start, we were impressed with everything about her as a person and a sitter. Stephanie promptly replied to our call back from her application which showed her seriousness by having the alerts set up on her phone. Although her sitting resume was just starting, she inspired confidence and her interview went well. Within a matter of a few days, Stephanie got on a plane and headed to Maine where she started a great adventure on our farm. Stephanie managed the property, which is a large antique farm house, with ease. The property and her living quarters were maintained very well and left immaculately clean when she finished her stay. Her communications skills were always spot on and she kept us updated with pictures and texts while we were on the other side of the world. Our indoor animal menagerie includes 2 elder Pomeranians and a bunny all of which have special needs which she attended to very well. She frequently walked them and let the bunny out in the yard for fresh garden delights. The outdoor farm animals are the real test for a sitters’ challenge and Stephanie managed them like a pro. 5 goats and 6 alpacas are a handful for anyone and she seemed to delight in adding this challenge to her variety of experiences. When we returned, the pasture, paddock and shelters were all thoroughly secured and cleaned up better than ever. (Not expected but certainly appreciated) It was very hot while we were away and the extra efforts to keep the animals cool and watered was necessary and she handled it well. Stephanie is very well traveled and has many worldly experiences that we thoroughly enjoyed hearing about. I know Stephanie enjoyed her time visiting the area although her visit here was brief. As a zeewoi sitter, Stephanie was a great fit for our needs and we hope her experience with us has broadened her opportunity to try new sitting experiences. We of course would highly recommend Stephanie as a sitter for any pet and home situation. The animals all loved her special attention. Stephanie is well traveled and easy to trust and inspires confidence in her actions and conversation. We would love to have Stephanie back as a sitter and more importantly as a friend.

First of all, if Alexis and family apply to petsit/housesit for you, consider yourself lucky! She did an amazing job from the very first steps. She was attentive to the details of what we needed, and asked pertinent questions that I hadn’t even thought of! She and her family are kind, caring, fun and responsible. During their stay, I trust that our pets had such a fine time that they barely noticed our absence. Her daughters even found new games to play with our beloved pup! Alexis kept us up to date on how our pets were doing and sent adorable photos. We came home to a sparkling clean house and a home cooked meal. Alexis and her family exceeded all expectations.

Jeanette and Thomas are a pleasant and easy going couple who did a great job taking care of our cat, Maja for 6 days. They clearly had taken the time to read the house information we had sent them in advance and asked good questions during our overlap (including reaching out with a clarification question before they departed). We returned to find a happy cat and the house as neat and clean as when we left it. Our only recommendation for their future sits is to consider providing an update or a photo during the stay. We have appreciated that from other pet sitters without having to reach out and check in. We would definitely have them sit for us again!

Maya and her boyfriend came out for a short pet sit over Thanksgiving. They started driving the night before and drove all night for 14 hours, so that they could be here on time for their sit! The house was very tidy when we returned and our cat was happy and unstressed.

Mallory was a terrific pet sitter! She was easy to communicate with, super chill, accommodating and took great care of my pups! she sent me daily updates and my dogs loved her! she'd be welcome back any time!

Abby was great. She did an excellent job of caring for our dog, which needs medication twice daily, and took her on long walks each day. The house was left clean and organized. Abby was very understanding and flexible when our flight home was cancelled on our return date. She was more than willing to stay an extra day, which made the delay more bearable for us. We highly recommend Abby!

Kristin was an excellent pet sitter! She took great care of my 2 cats and made sure they were fed, had clean litter boxes, and given love and attention. She sent me pictures of the cats every morning and was incredibly responsive to my texts. I recommend her!

Angela and her pup Rizzo were great sitters. Mops and our house were well cared for. Angela was very adaptable, as we had a delay in a floor installation which was to take place before her arrival. Grateful for her!
