This was up there as one of my favourite sits so far. The location is beautiful, surrounded by hills and not far from some very rural and idyllic places in Wales. Patrick and Rose are both very lovely, caring people and I felt very comfortable in their home. All the animals were great, it may seem like a lot but once you get into the rhythm with them it's fun and simple. Though, I should mention the geese. We did not get along and no matter how hard I tried the male goose was very protective, though they did have eggs in the hutch so may he was being extra protective. I hope to stay again.
Shannon and Colin’s home was very inviting and comfortable, and Fritz and Bruno were incredibly sweet and loveable. We enjoyed walks each day with Fritz, with easy proximity to the experimental farm walking paths right from the back of the property. Both pets loved to snuggle and were great company. We thoroughly enjoyed our sit here and would welcome the opportunity to return in the future!
Wendy got alarmed and accused me of not taking Penny Lane out for an extended period of time, she stated her front door small camera (integrated in the door bell) didn't capture movement and I explained I didn't walk out myself at night, I watched Penny Lane from the doorway, so it was impossible for the camera to capture my movement. After 3 months she left a review stating that I was indifferent to the pet, which is a baseless accusation, as well as her accusation about me eating her perishables which I was told multiple times to help myself to. Wendy has acted in a very odd manner making false accusations that I don't appreciate. I was baffled by this and don't understand why she formed a negative opinion about the sit, we had friendly interactions and I was very communicative about all of Penny Lane's activities.
