Emilie was so solid and I felt so at ease leaving my three babies with her for half a month, two of who have some special needs and require a lot of attention to detail. I gave Vanessa a tour of the house and instructions, mostly for our dog Donut. We came home to find the patio door unlocked, creamers in the Nespresso machine (and left there soiled and spoiled). She left hair all over the bathroom floor and toothpaste inside the sinks. She ran out of dog poop bags, and left the poop in the yard instead of asking where more bag could be found. We found a piece of chewed wire, so not sure what he chewed through. Vanessa wasn't communicative and only gave updates if I asked how Donut was.
This was a long one (6 weeks) and mostly Jake (as planned) but Cat did join him for the last part. They did a great job watching our cats and house. Everything was very clean and proper when they left. We would recommend them and be happy to have them back.
Cristina was a fantastic host and Ozzie was a wonderful pup; we had a great time exploring Duluth with him, and loved how he became part of the pack with our two pups! We are grateful that Christina got someone to come repair the washer while we were there, and she was really helpful with some advice to manage pain.
