Gabe responded to a last minute panicked request, when the sitter we'd had set up for months had a family emergency. We met him only a day or two before our trip, but his calm and competent demeanor convinced us that we could leave our home and pets in his care with confidence. He sent us pics every day, of our furbabies and plants blooming in the yard. Our home was clean and the animals happy when we returned. Buzzbee seemed depressed the next day, I think he missed Gabe!
Overall Maria took good care of our four cats and we are very appreciative. She genuinely seemed to love our cats in a way that we don't often see from cat sitters, and gave them plenty of treats and playtime. Even our most shy cat warmed up to Maria, which made us really happy to hear and definitely proved that she was taking good care of them. She provided cat pictures once every couple days if not every day, and everything seemed to be going great so we were not worried while on our vacation. When we got home, we found that there had been a few small issues (litter genie refill, using the RFID feeders, and cat(s) eating through the treat bag). These are not a big deal but we would have appreciated knowing about these a bit earlier. Maria also kindly went out of her way to clean up around the place before she left, leaving it at least as clean as she found it, which was very appreciated. Overall, we are very pleased with how Maria treated our home and our cats and would recommend her!
