Kristen and Rebecca was so kind and sweet to us. They have a beautiful home. Snoop is so sweet and so much fun to play with. He's a baby and we quickly learned he's quite busy. Ami is a doll. Real chill and so loving. We were given clear instructions and communication with both ladies was awesome. They went above and beyond making sure our stay was great.
Michele and Neigel gave us a very warm welcome. The house is beautifully situated with a magnificent view of Weston and is very tastefully decorated. Poppy and Lottie are two wonderful dogs, we had lots of fun on our walks together. Both horses are easy to handle and very sweet. Thank you so much for a lovely time - we would love to come back.
We had the best time staying at Kristen’s lovely apartment and watching Bryan and Ruthie. They are fantastic cats. Bryan is a real lover. Within about 5 minutes of us getting there, he was jumping on our laps and purring up a storm. He slept between us all night! Ruthie took slightly longer to come out of her shell, but once she did she was a total sweetheart. She loved hanging out with us on the balcony getting a good belly rub. The cats are really easy and low maintenance, and just a joy to be around. They are both characters in their own ways and gave us a lot of good laughs. We really enjoyed them and miss them already. Kristen’s apartment is clean, beautifully decorated, and has everything you need. There is ample parking at the building and she is in very close vicinity (like a 4 minute drive) to a bunch of great restaurants, a food coop, an incredible Wednesday/Saturday farmers market, and much more. We loved getting biscuits in the morning at Rise and had a fantastic dinner one night at a restaurant called Luna. It’s also extremely easy to access Chapel Hill and Durham by car. Kristen was a very communicative, courteous, and lovely host and we felt so at home in her apartment. House sitting for her was a wonderful experience across the board. Thank you, Kristen, for letting us hang out with Bryan and Ruthie and stay in your special home!
Keesha and Vince have a light-filled comfortable home and an absolutely lovable cat, Theodora. She is playful and likes to interact with toys and such. She will hang out nearby wherever you are and happily land in your lap for lots of stroking and scratching around her ears. Communication with Keesha was easy and home instructions were clear. I would highly recommend staying with Dora if you get the chance!
Chewie was super easy to take care of and we had a great time. He is such a lover and super easy on the leash. Dan’s home could use a little cleaning, especially with all the hair and drool from chewy. The towels on the couch to stop protect from dog hair got dirty fast. I was sure to sweep everyday to try and keep on top of the hair but it seems like a deep clean is warranted. Very minimally stocked in terms of kitchen things so I enjoyed meals out most days. Overall it was a nice neighborhood to stay in while just across from north park.
Such a wonderful sit with the adorable Buzz who enjoys regular walks off the lead in beautiful woods that are just a few minutes walk away. Buzz is a very special black lab, extremely loving and full of fun but he also loves to relax and we enjoyed lots of time together just sitting in the enormous and stunning garden. Clare's beautiful home is located in a truly spectacular location with stunning views of the Sussex countryside and the garden has many amazing trees. I enjoyed a beautiful bed room with 2 bathrooms and use of much of the very large house, although Buzz likes to hang out in the open plan light and airy kitchen which made my stay easy. Recommend this fantastic sit to anyone who loves lots of space and truly beautiful surroundings.
