Kristine was an excellent pet sitter; communicative, clean, capable, She administered meds to my dog, updated me with regular check-ins. and was super flexible when i needed to delay my return, even washing and changing the sheets on the bed. Kristine earned high marks and I would not hesitate to have her sit for me again!
We loved caring for Sprinkles and Pepper in Sharon and Will's beautiful home. The house is spacious, and within walking distance of great restaurants and shopping. Sprinkles is such a sweet love. Pepper is so energetic and the sweetest boy.
I really enjoyed looking Max, Stanley and Dottie while Steph was away. The cats are very low maintenance and are happy lounging about the house. Max is an affectionate, gentle and friendly boy. He enjoys his walks down to the high street and his treats! Steph's home is gorgeous and has everything for a comfortable stay, 5 minutes walk and you are at the seafront. St Leonard's has a high street with plenty of cafes and small artsy boutique shops, thrift/antique stores as well as convenience stores, restaurants etc. There is also Hastings and Bexhill either side to explore. A pleasure to stay and would happily come again :)
This sit was a dream! Sully is a gentle giant who is very well behaved on walks. I saw zero inclination towards aggression or fear around other dogs. The only pulling was if a squirrel got close and I found him easy to control. Sully was so well-behaved that I was proud to walk him! Sully can hold his pee for a long time. One night we tried to take him out around 11 because his last walk had been at 5 PM. He really didn’t want to go and held it until 630 the next morning. I don’t think he barked the whole time we were there. Sully is a sweet, no fuss dog. The home is gorgeous! Very well designed and very, very comfortable. We were told to help ourselves to anything that we needed in the kitchen. Brian and Jessica were very welcoming and quickly responded when I sent them a daily check in. There is a park half a block down the street and you can usually find parking there. If you are relying on public transportation, it would take about 30minutes to get into Center City or the historic district. I would heartily recommend this sit for anyone wanting to see Philadelphia or to just have a getaway with a beautiful dog in a beautiful home.
