As soon as I saw this house sit I wanted to meet Louie! However I am quite petite in size and Louie is a very big fellow and I was a little anxious that he might end up being the one taking me for the walks! Daniel was very good with his communication prior to my sit and I was reassured that Louie was very well behaved and easy to manage. Louie is very well behaved, he is a beautiful dog, a gentle giant with a lovely temperament, I thoroughly enjoyed caring for him and exploring the local countryside on our long walks together. The two cats where also very easy to care for, Mugatu was generally more affectionate from the start, Digby taking longer to get use to me. Daniel gave excellent instructions on the feeding and care of his pets and also left information for me about the local area. Bennachie is well worth a visit. A lovely house sit in rural Aberdeenshire.
My stay at Tamara and her family's place was perfect. Penny is the sweetest; if you're looking for cat cuddles, I can highly recommend staying with Penny! She was always close to me or sleeping on my lap. The best remote-work-buddy I could hope for :) Tamara and her family are very friendly and generous. They made sure I had some basics in the apartment for the first few days (fruit, vegetables,...), they were so easy to communicate with the weeks before the stay, they made sure I had all information I needed, they responded to questions quickly, ... I love this area of Stockholm; very calm, great area for walking/jogging, a supermarket nearby, and very close to a metro station which makes it easy to go to the city center. I would definitely do this again if I get the chance to. Thank you, Tamara, Jonathan, Ingrid, and in particular Penny!!
Rollo is a super easy dog to take care of and very affectionate one. Snacks and food in general is what motivates him - my kind of guy hehe. He loves cuddles and he is always ready to snuggle up. I can't wait to hang out with him again !
We had a lovely time taking care of Piper over the weekend. She is a dream cat. Very cuddly and playful especially with her ribbon toy. She followed us around the house, jumping on bed and giving cuddle at night. Communication with Isobel is easy and straight forward. The house is very clean and cosy, close to the river. Highly recommend this sit :)
Communication with James before the sit was good. James and Lucy made me very welcome and made sure I was happy with everything before they left. Their home is lovely. Dotty and Arlo are such lovely dogs. They are both fun characters and loving. They settled quickly and were such good company. This is a very special sit and I hope we will return.
I loved my interactions with Marti starting with our very first phone conversation. So much so that we booked a repeat sit before we ever did our first one! Communication with her is a breeze. She is a genuinely kind and open person. She answered all on my questions thoroughly and with ease. Her home was incredibly clean and comfortable for us. Not only is it perfectly appointed but the setting is just dreamy if you love the outdoors! This is an Eichler home/neighborhood. If you aren’t familiar with them, Google it! It’s fascinating. The views are amazing and there are hiking trailheads in the neighborhood so we could be on a trail within five minutes from walking out the door and never had to get in our car! Everything about this sit felt like a peaceful sanctuary! But let’s face it, the stars of this sit are her adorable kitties, Fitz and Marge. They are about the easiest kitties to care for as long as Fitz gets his snuggle time and you don’t miss a feeding for Marge LOL. They basically napped all day. Fitz joined me for lap snuggles each morning and evening while Marge kept to herself unless it was getting close to mealtime. They peacefully coexist together and even welcomed our senior pup into their home. Fitz and our Hershey became fast friends. Marge was aloof to him as she is with most everything. All this to say that we highly recommend this sit and feel so grateful knowing that we will be back soon!!
