I can't rate this sit highly enough. From start to finish everything was perfect. Due to the house owners leaving early hours of the morning I arrived the evening before to a delicious home cooked meal. The whole family made me feel so welcome and at home. The welcome pack provided was better than most AirBnb or Hotels I have stayed at. Communication was first class. Now to the stars of the show. Dot and Brick were absolutely delightful. So well behaved, loving and friendly. Missing my cuddles already. Sitter must be prepared to have the dogs sleep with them, but they disappear under the covers and you honestly could forget they were there. Hope to be back soon. Tim
Deb & Rod are so welcoming and genuine. We felt welcome and appreciated, Chava & Sadie were the best dogs you could ask to look after. Amazing hosts beautiful home, our hearts have burst with love for the doggies. We miss them, we enjoyed snuggling with them everyday and caring for them. Thank you for a lovely sit in an old style cottage charming place to stay in woodlands and friendly village. Communication with Teresa and Russel was excellent and I met up with Russel before the sit which was useful to know what was expected and meet the chickens. They allowed us to bring our dog, he acted as a guard dog for the chickens against the fox and cared for them whilst enjoying delicious eggs! Setting up the Sunday egg honesty box was simple with the help of easy instructions. The neighbours are lovely and invited us over to their pretty garden for tea and cake and also took us back to the station - very kind. Beautiful walks right from the door where you can see horses, rabbits and even alpacas! The old Roman site is a must visit too. We slept so well as it is so quiet and the wood burner is so cosy in the evenings. Thank you again hope to be back! :)
We loved our week at Elaine's. LuLu is a sweetheart from the start. The cats are a little shy at first, but once they get used to you they are also super-friendly. Elaine has everything set up so well that caring for them is a breeze. The house is very comfortable and in a great location. We loved exploring Red Rocks, the mountains and other nearby attractions.
My Experience with Lawrence and Angus in London was an extremely positive one. Lawrence’s level of assistance and care before and during the sit was beyond compare. Before I even arrived, he went out of his way to provide me with all the information I needed, ensuring I felt comfortable and well-prepared for my stay. His communication was prompt and friendly, instantly putting me at ease. The instructions he provided were a testament to his attention to detail and thoughtfulness. They were not only extremely informative, but they also had a wonderfully laid-back vibe that made me feel like I was visiting a friend's home. It's rare to find a balance between thoroughness and a relaxed approach, but Lawrence nailed it even providing a bottle for arrival which is always well received. The house itself was beautiful and had everything and more needed for a comfortable stay, location is superb too. A perfect blend of comfort to relax while being able to enjoy the city. Then there was Angus the cat who is very affectionate and almost dog like in temperament, super chill and absolutely gorgeous. This sit definitely set the bar high for future sits. Thanks again! We had an absolute blast hanging out with Shannon and Jeff's pups, Katie and Tyrie! They are incredibly loving, well-behaved dogs. Staying in Shannon and Jeff's beautiful home and being so close to Park City skiing over an extended weekend was a real winter dream. We were given clear and thorough instructions regarding how to take care of the pups and home while they were away, and felt comfortable asking any questions that came up during the stay. We would be more than happy to take care of Katie and Tyrie again.
