Corin and Anna are lovely people. Very friendly and so welcoming. Bella is, like our experience of her breed, high energy, very loving, and eager to move. We enjoyed playing with her around the house - hide and seek was a favourite - and kicking the leaves for her around the nearby woodland and across the big open common. This was a fabulous sit! Bill and Marie are great with their communications and we are grateful to Marie who welcomed us with a homemade meal upon our arrival. They have had many varied experiences and adventures which made for some interesting conversations over dinner and morning coffee. We have most definitely become friends. Daisy! Now, she was a star! very sweet and full of enthusiasm but never barking. She really enjoyed her walks as she led us through the gate and unto their private property which then extended to a wonderful trail through the woods – Daisy was sure to point out all the deer along the way too… Although Daisy enjoys your company and affection, she is also quite independent with her doggie door and it is so adorable how she put herself to bed in the evening waiting patiently for her bedtime treat and bone. We stayed in the two guest bedrooms – both were very comfortable. The entire home is bright, and comfortable. We enjoyed our meals sitting in the breakfast area watching dozens of birds come to the feeders at the windows. After hiking we also took a dip in the hot tub just outside the door – that was so relaxing. Bill and Marie are well prepared for guest/sitters and have an extensive welcome guide that explained everything you need to know about the home and also the area. Communication before, during, and after the sit was quick and easy. Wifi was always fast and available. (They do have a nice TV setup and room but we did not make use of it.) The area has some incredible hiking trails and is dotted with charming small towns. We would be happy to return for another sit - or even just for a visit! Note: I (Stella) did this sit with my 25 year old daughter (Hannah).
Had a great time staying with Joey and Tofu up in the mountains! Joey is a sweet puppy, he loves to go for walks and definitely loves to find the biggest stick to carry with him. He gets along great with other dogs. Tofu is very easy, just needs food and the occasional head scratches. Lydia and Rafi were very welcoming, great with communication, and gave me plenty of tips for awesome hikes to take Joey on. I had so much fun staying here and hope to come back again! We really enjoyed our housesit experience at Kendall and Paul’s lovely home in Rockridge. There are lots of great restaurants, shops, cafes and farmer’s markets nearby. Their home is comfortable, delightfully clean and beautifully designed. Communication was ideal and they were both very generous hosts. Their cats Banksy and Ray are easy to take care of. It took them both a few days to feel at ease with us, but it was very rewarding to see their affectionate sides. Eventually, they both liked to stay near us in the living room where they spent lots of time napping on chairs near a big window. Ray is very food motivated but she also adores being brushed. Banksy took a few days to eat but eventually I figured out how to prepare her food so she ate with gusto. It was fun to see her so excited to eat. We also fed them separately because Ray would eat Banksy’s food. We hope to return to housesit for these wonderful cat lovers in the future.
I had a wonderful time cat sitting for Sean and Elaine! Straight away they made me feel very welcome in their home, which is absolutely beautiful and full of interesting history. Both of the cats were very friendly and enjoyed some lovely cuddles. Sooty was super outgoing; almost straight away he was jumping onto my lap for cuddles and he slept most of the night on the bed with me which was adorable. Sweep kept more to herself, but she was also really affectionate when we did have a cuddle. A really enjoyable sit and I’d be very happy to return in future!
Excellent experience. Lola and Morwenna are both fab. Communication up to and including the sit was spot on. The flat itself is beautiful and really comfortable. Clevedon is lovely to mooch around with some nice walks on the doorstep. Lola is very friendly and easy to read so taking care of her was straightforward and very enjoyable.

Couldn’t recommend more highly, our dogs were boarded whilst we moved house (the stay got extended which Rebecca kindly accommodated). My vision of kennels is a wooden hut down the garden. Here that couldn’t be further from the truth, my boys lived it up in a lovely cottage, were treated as part of the family and taken on amazing country walks, I am surprised they wanted to come back home!!
My girls poppy and Daisy went for a trial day and sleepover and they were so happy and at home. Rebecca makes this a complete home away from home and takes them for long walks and gives them lots of cuddles and sends lovely pictures of them and we call her our fairy dog mother !! Kelly was incredible with our boy, this was our first time leaving him with someone other than family and I was super anxious. However, Kelly knew this and made sure I had constant updates, photos and videos - it really made a huge difference to our holiday experience. It meant we could fully relax! Our boy had the best time, made himself well at home right from the start and ended up snuggling on Kelly’s lap, which goes to show the loving environment created there. Lots of big walks with new friends, he had his own little holiday! Cannot recommend enough for peace of mind with your fur baby!

I have been using Honey Hole Dog walking services for a few months now and it's been fantastic. Lisa a dog lover and is very professional in her work. She is great with my retriever Dexter who seems to be more excited for Lisa's arrival than my own arrival home. Lisa handles Dexter's possessive traits towards tennis balls excellently and ensures that he is well exercised. I would certainly recommend Lisa to all dog owners.

Used Lisa @ honey hole pet services to walk our dogs whilst we were away on holiday and the dogs were staying with my elderly parents as well as days when work got in the way. Lisa was great as we didn't need her on a regular basis but by giving her a list of dates well in advance she was able to accommodate. Receiving photos of the dogs on their walk is also really reassuring especially when using a new service

Lisa has been a very reliable dog walker. Barks is at the back door waiting for her every Thursday and she never fails. She will always go the extra mile when I need additional sitting and I am very grateful for that flexibility. Her crafty things are great too. It was our first time leaving our vizsla with Bridge house, we have tried a few other kennels with "luxury" facilities but our dog has not come home in better shape and condition than when he went here. The positivity started when they owner wanted to meet Axel, we got a full guided tour and I could see how much they cared for dogs. I was spoken through all my options in regards to food and told how his day would pan out. I was really pleased to hear that Axel would be visited regularly and given a couple of small walks per day. In previous kennels he has not been walked and as a high energy dog he needs exercise. Axel came home after 10 days in top condition, I was ready to bath him and give his bedding a good wash.... but their was no need! He had been given a bath and smelt amazing and was super soft, his bedding and toys had also had a wash!. I was so impressed with this , and I have never experienced this before even with "luxury" high end kennels. The staff made sure he was given his filled kong every day and his evening bone (we provided these). As I saw Axel being bought out for collection, prior to him noticing us he was trotting along with the staff, so happy. The owner even called the next day to apologise for not being on site during collection and a few miscommunication regarding pick up time. I would 100000% recommend and leave my dog here again. He has come home, happy, healthy and smelling delightful. Thank you x
Our dog was very well cared for and his coat looked beautiful when we picked him up. You can see how much the owners love the dogs They are very accommodating to try and fit you in even last minute. Good pick up times and reasonably priced.
Was very nervous about leaving my dogs in a kennel for the first time, but they came home very happy and in a healthy condition. They seemed to have enjoyed their stay very much. Highly recommend
I would not recommend using these kennels. The lady managing the place treated us with suspicion and arrogance from the very moment we arrived. They did not accept our dog, despite previously telling us they had availability, leaving us in deep trouble as we had an international trip scheduled. Our dog can be a little nervous/excited at times, but he has never been aggressive toward people or other dogs. We made that clear before going there and simply asked them to approach him slowly, as advised by our dog trainer. Nevertheless, they were unwilling to do this, as they decided on the spot that our dog would have given them trouble. We believe the staff may simply be unprepared (or unwilling) to deal with different types of dogs hence why we suggest not wasting time with this kennels also to avoid being treated poorly and finding yourself in trouble with no place to leave your dog.
We have used the boarding kennels many times over the last 8 years. My dogs have always been happy to be there and have remained in good condition and happy, they are exercised regularly and very well cared for. We would not hesitate to recommend these kennels for your dog.
Our black lab, Murphy, recently stayed at Bridge House Boarding Kennels for five days and we couldn't have been more pleased with his care whilst we were away. Being 12 years old, he can be a little nervous at times or even grumpy but we had nothing to worry about and, when we picked him up, it was clear that he had enjoyed his stay. Bridge House Kennels looked after our puppy as a one off for the afternoon while we attended a funeral locally. They were very responsive to our enquiry, incredibly friendly and, most importantly, were amazing with Buster during his stay. He trotted off very happily when we left him which made us confident that he would be well looked after for the few hours he was there. I would highly recommend Bridge House Kennels.
I booked my dog in here as we were at a local festival. He had the most amazing time and was so happy when he was collected. He smelt amazing and I would most definitely use them again. I wish my local kennels were this good x

Jenny's place is like a home from home for Luna (our 7yo WCS). We have used many boarding kennels over the years of having dogs, and Jenny's is without doubt the best. She gives us regular updates with messages, photos and video of what Luna is up to. Jenny is a true dog lover, incredibly attentive to each dog’s needs, and has facilities that allow for loving care whilst ensuring the best circumstances for each dog, their behaviors and privacy. Stanley has had a wonderful time on each stay, made new friends during his runs around the paddock that Jenny uses, and can’t wait to go back each time he’s dropped off.
It was Kasper’s first time boarding with Jenny. He had several individual days of trial to begin with then I boarded him with her in August. He absolutely loved being with the other dogs and Jenny really made a home from home for him. Will certainly board him again without hesitation.

Louise is such a lovely, kind and reliable lady. She looks after my cats so we’ll. Family illness has meant I’ve sometimes had to rush off at short notice or stay away longer than planned. Nothing fazes Louise, she just steps into the breach. She’s watered plants, fed the fish and my garden hedgehogs as well as the cats! She is so caring, she knows I worry about them so she messages me and even sends me videos! Nothing is too much trouble. Thoroughly recommend this lady!

Louise looked after our two dogs when we went away on holiday we knew the dogs would prefer to stay in the comfort of their familiar surroundings. We have used Southwell Pet Sitters (SPS) for over a decade. Many of our pets have had complex medication required several times a day & we feel confident leaving Louise in charge of this and caring for our pets whilst we are away. SPS have also been able to help at short notice when something has come up last minute and also extend care/feeding of our pets when we were delayed by several days from retuning from abroad. 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We picked up our boy Denver up today after a 5 night stay at PlatinumK9. On arrival we were greeted by Sarah who was very friendly and from then we knew we had left Denver in very capable hands. Denver is reactive and has some medical needs but this was no bother at all. He is also raw fed which was not a problem as they have freezers and refrigerators for this. When returning to collect him, we could see he was very happy. The team had given him a bath which was a lovely additional touch and he smells so nice. He is now home and having a nap and seems very content. The only negative for us was how muddy the lane and parking area was but we understand autumn/winter can be challenging! But this would not put us off using the kennels again! Thank you for taking care of Denver and see you again next time 🐾
I just wanted to thanks Leanne and the Team for all of their help & support with Caesar. His walking is immeasurably improved especially since the follow up a few months after the initial training. He has gone from pulling on the lead constantly to consistently being in the box and when on the few occasions he does pull a small amount, the tools provided in the handover whether that be the corrections or the advice on the different types of collars I can use (I’ve eventually settled on a French collar which has been a game changer). When I used to prepare his meals Caesar would be jumping and not able to contain himself and now he waits patiently on his bed for his food. In terms of his behaviour in the home, it was impossible to get the hoover or mop out and now I can go right up to him with the hoover !! Did we struggle for a while after the training with this yes, but the WhatsApp training was there for help & advice and eventually the muscle memory from his original training kicked in, I just kept putting him back on his bed and carrying in. Do we both make mistakes from time to time is there the odd thing we are working through yes but with the tools provided in training and the follow up support I know we can get there.
Our dog Cooper has been happily attending HCK for the last 2 years - every day as part of their day kennel facility. He is welcomed every morning by a member of the team - huge thanks and praise to both Chloe and Ellie. They greet our dog warmly and always willing to listen if we have any info to pass on. Cooper has some medical issues and Chloe and Ellie are well briefed on his condition. They even phone me at work if they have any concerns. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them. A big indicator for me is always how the dog behaves around people. Our dog clearly loves the staff and always happy to see them. Always willing to pose on Instagram too! A great professional business all round.
Just wanted to say a massive thank you to all the staff at Home Cottage Kennels. We just picked up Rocket the Beagle and we have never seen him so spruced up, happy and bubbly when collecting him from any other kennel ever. He was clearly very well looked after and the environment must have been truly outstanding. We would highly recommend Home Cottage Kennels to even the most apprehensive doggy parents out there. First time I have used this kennel and it’s now the only kennel I’ll use. Took two dogs of mine and they came back so happy (came back very nervous from other kennels) I had photos sent to me on request and a video and it was so nice to see them happy running around whilst I was away. They also had a bath whilst there. The kennel seemed extremely clean. Thank you so much.
I left my family of four spaniels with Adrian last week( they have never been in kennels before) and they were expertly cared for. All detail of their requirements and considerations were catered for and they were all extremely contented and happy when we went to collect them. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Adrian and Sharon and their staff to any of my dog owning friends.
My dog has stayed here every day while I'm at work for the last two years. Adrian lives and breathes dogs and has very good staff. They provide fantastic care, which is rated at the highest possible level. Murphy gets exercised and played with at least twice a day for 20 minutes each time. The cleanest kennels you will see and Murphy is always excited when he gets there.
Looked after our 2 boys excellently, kept us in touch with pictures and vids, bathed both of them before picked up and they were happy!! Thanku and will definitely recommend and use in future.
I used this kennel for the first time in October 2019. Would definitely recommend and certainly use again. My dog has a rather anxious nature, which made me nervous to put him in kennels, it was lovely to see him happy and calm when I collected him.

Vickie has been walking our 3 dogs for over three years. Can’t recommend Vickie enough to anyone looking for a dog walker as we would be lost without her, I’ve never seen our dogs as excited as they get when Vickie arrived to pick them up and she goes over and above each and every time
Vickie is by far the best! The cats love her and they can be a bit selective on a good day. Its brilliant that I can go away with the peace of mind that someone else is looking after them just as well as I would if I were home. We would highly recommend the grooming parlour at Slaney Kennels we took our dog for the first time and they were brilliant our Mea is old and a can be a bit grumpy but she looked a picture well done.
My cat Marnie spent a night here as one of her two taster sessions for when I go to Croatia soon. I chose it because of its high ratings and really chose right. To begin with there were checks Marnie had up to date vaccinations. This reassured me she would be in an environment with other healthy, vaccinated cats. Eve was also very kind when I WhatsApped her to advise I'd be arriving later than planned. The reason was I couldn't get Marnie in the carrier despite my efforts at introducing her to it that week. Eve reassured me Marnie wouldn't hate me for putting her in there, either. I planned to stay with Marnie till she was settled but this only ended up being a couple of minutes. She loved exploring the pen and was allowed things from home in there. The pen was very well equipped and spacious with lots of room for roaming and climbing. I know Marnie will have a great time when I'm away and I've been promised photos of how she's doing then, too!
