I can’t say enough great things about my stay with Malone and Raffi! From the very start, Darcy was so communicative in the weeks leading to and throughout my sit. She left pertinent information concerning her fur babies, the house and surrounding neighborhood & area. Their home is beautiful, warm, cozy, clean and safe. I so enjoyed exploring Murrel,s Inlet with live music, great restaurants, shopping and of course the beach! They’ve got it all! Best of all, Malone and Raffi were so easy to care for and couldn’t get enough love. Little Malone followed me around all day & loved to snuggle on the sofa. I highly recommend this opportunity should you be so lucky! They were delightful!
Spending time with Poppy and Spike at Keith and Jessica's place in Brighton was a very special time for us and we would recommend it to any other sitters fortunate to be offered the opportunity. The house is extremely comfortable and secure and is located near everything one could wish for - a boutique shopping street within a 3 minute walk in one direction, access to the beach 3 minutes in the other direction for swimming/walking/cycling, public transport including the very efficient Melbourne rail system 400m away and such a huge array of eating places to choose from. And topping it all off were Poppy and Spike, two terrific little dogs who are no fuss. Just like being pampered, fed at specified times, played with and love to jump up on the couch and be close. Keith and Jessica are two very approachable and friendly people who made us so welcome in their house and trusted us completely with their fur kids. The type of people you could always be friends with.
Roy and Mary are a true delight! We came a day early and got to spend an evening getting to know them which was such a lovely way to start the sit. They have a beautiful home which we were super comfortable in. We loved the neighborhood and getting to go on runs in Central Park and Riverside Park. But the best part, of course, is Suji! Suji is quite endearing, and a real social fellow. He's a big fan of ear rubs, and we were quite amused at the way he curls his long legs into all sorts of shapes when he's napping. This sit was such a positive experience. Thanks Mary and Roy for your generous hospitality, and we hope to see you next time we are in NYC!
This Pet Sit was an absolute dream, especially having just experienced the passing of Sammy, an orange kitty in the previous Pet Sit.
Energetically there is such a powerful difference when a family creates a loving home for their pets, especially in providing the best food and litter, toys everywhere and cat beds on all levels of their home. Kim and I had several wonderful conversations before the Pet Sit actually began. Instead of my arrival of 1-2 days prior to the Pet Sit, she offered a 2 day stay at an inn with ocean view, near her home in Manhattan Beach. Ironically, the first day was on my birthday. The second day I spent time with Kim in her home and meeting her 3 cats Odessa, Jackson and Moose, whom I called Moossey. She explained the various responsibilities and offered a cash gift for purchasing groceries. I find that this was a gift which several Pet Parents have offered from their hearts.
I had my own guest bedroom with en suite bathroom and access to their entire home. In addition, there was a young lady who worked as a very conscientious housekeeper twice a week. The energy of Kim's beautiful 3 story home had a stunning view of the ocean, 2 blocks away. The downtown area was easily accessible with a 15 minute walk to one of my favorite cafés and bakery, as well as a myriad of small boutiques and bistros.
It had been awhile since I had been to the ocean, however I had discovered Manhattan Beach with my first Pet Sit in December 2022. The clean ocean, wonderful weather and many stores via the LA transit was a joyful introduction to the company.
Once I was trusted by her furry children we enjoyed playing, sitting in the NW study listening to healing cat music and just having sweet conversations verbally or on an intuitive level. I sent Kim many texts; photos and videos to bring her joy and important updates.
I did not want this Pet Sit to end, especially because it represented all the attributes of a perfect Pet Sit. I must lovingly mention the presence and support of her sister by offering rides to various businesses.
Katara is incredible. Truly a gift and great playmate. She’s a total lover and you must be strong and fit to do this sit. She’s young, so still training AND needs a long run most every day. Jenna and Tim were wonderful hosts, clear communication, clear on what they needed and a pleasure to meet. I highly recommend this sit to an athlete who wants a high energy playmate at the base of the foothills!
It’s difficult to say who’s luckier - owners Sarah and Will or dogs Sam and Otis. They’re all so lovely and thoroughly deserve each other! The dogs have the most amazing walks on their doorstep and fabulous owners who take them to their favourite places on Anglesey. They’re the most rewarding dogs to look after - so obedient and good natured. They play beautifully with all the dogs they meet. And at home they’re lovely to sit with and easy to feed and handle. Sarah and Will’s home is cosy and lovely. They’re great at communicating before and during. Highly recommend this sit :)
