I totally fell in love with these 5 gorgeous cats - gentle giant, young Findus whose escapades outdoors often meant he smells wonderfully of damp grass; the coquettish diva Harriet with her immaculately self-groomed coat; and noble Enzo with his leonine mane and aloof bearing. Coco and Champi were very loving and spent a lot of time with me in the cottage as did Findus. Harriet & Enzo also dropped in from time to time. It was such a pleasure to look after these cats and a first experience for me to get to know Maine Coons - what a wonderful breed! Champi is a local domestic tabby but somehow she looks like a miniature Maine Coon with a lovely neck ruff. Having lived in Tuscany 30 years ago, this sit was a very welcome return to one of the most beautiful parts of Italy - or indeed, the world. It was easy to make short trips to Asciano, Montalcino, Bagno Vignoni, Pienza, Siena as well as further afield into southern Tuscany. Sue and Ryan are kind and generous hosts. I especially appreciated the cosy, warm cottage and well-equipped kitchen plus having the use of a car while I was there. I will be returning to do a repeat sit in 2024 - I can't wait!

Incredibly happy with Sharna's pet service! I was very anxious about leaving my dog for 6 days with a sitter but I had nothing to worry about! Sharna's helper Micah was amazing, my dog Yuna quickly warmed up to them and settled down way faster than I thought. I received photo and video updates and could tell Yuna was in great hands. I thought Yuna would be anxious when I came back but she was actually very relaxed, Micah was definitely amazing I don't think my dog even missed me! Absolutely amazing. I was very apprehensive about leaving Boo and Bear with a pet sitter but after meeting Sharna I felt so relieved that I had made the right choice. She stayed at home with them overnight and I got regular update in the form of pictures and videos. She was so attentive and caring that both Boo and Bear became great friends with her. I used cat sitting service for a second time in the last couple of months. I'm very pleased with Darren's accuracy for his visits and cat feeding. Darren was giving me a regular update about my cat. I found the house on the same way, I left it and my cat was calm - no stress, no mess. Cat sitting at home is a better and less stressful way to look after your cat, while you go away. Andy and his team work wonders! I had cause to use him last minute, and he house sat my pooches (after fellow dog walker recommended). Andy is understanding of Dogs and there concerned owners! He looked after any concerns of mine as well as my dogs! Kept me updated with pics and messages. Arrived home after 5 days away to the happiest dogs! This morning we happened to see him in the Country Park and my dogs were SO EXCITED to see him they cried and pulled towards him...... Having recently moved to the area we needed a dog care company to look after our 2 dogs whilst at work. I have just started using Home Alone for my 11month old Shi Tzuh as I have to go into the office now a few days a week. Andy & Alice take very good care of her. They send me photos of her playing throughout the day which I find reassuring in the office; dogs need the stimulation of other dogs and she gets dropped off shattered from all the excercise, win/win! I would really recommend this service.
Our dog is one of the family, there are few places we would leave him and know he was well looked after and treated as one of their own, this is one of those places. We only have to mention Andy and our dog is at the back door ready to go, he loves it there. Always comes back relaxed as he’s been spoilt and usually worn out as he’s been exercised well. Absolutely fully recommended.
Andrew and Alice are exceptionally good with my greyhound, John. John loves going for walks with them and the day care is also excellent. When ever I have to London I can relax knowing John is in safe hands.

Craig and his team at bedfordshire pet care company are great and I would highly recommend using their services for your fur babies. I have been using their services for over a year now, and since the first time I met Craig (when he came round for this met of my dogs and me) you could just see how much he cares about animals, which was really lovely to see and made me feel very comfortable with him as a dog walker. The fact that they take lots of photos on their walks to you can see how much fun all the dogs are having! They didn't have any problems when I asked for them to help with one of my dogs when he hurt his paw and gave him extra attention when he needed it. They always take the dogs on suck beautiful walks I wish I was there with them! I will be using bedfordshire pet care company for a LONG TIME! 👍👍

Caroline has been a brilliant foster mummy (dog boarder) to our beautiful girl Marjorie. Caroline quite obviously loves dogs and understands their needs and is very good at understanding each dog’s temperament. Marjorie stayed with Caroline for two weeks whilst we were on holiday. Marjorie was walked everyday and Caroline varied the walks to keep Marjorie interested. We had daily photos and videos to keep us updated with how she was getting on. This was not only reassuring for us but was lovely for our children who were missing Marjorie. Caroline and Nick welcomed us and Marjorie into their home and it was quite clear that Marjorie would enjoy her time at their house. I would highly recommend Caroline’s Canine Comforts to anyone who was looking for a home away from home for their dear doggy.
Caroline is wonderful. My two dogs had a fantastic holiday with her whilst we were away. I received daily videos or photos (my request) with updates on what they'd been doing or going to do that day. I don't think my dogs wanted to leave when we picked them up, which to me is a great indicator as to how much they enjoyed themselves. Thank you Caroline.
Cannot recommend Caroline enough, she has cared and looked after our Cavapoo girl these last 2 weeks and we have returned to a bright and happy doggie. Our first 2 week leave so we were a little anxious leaving her but Caroline’s regular contact and videos were really appreciated and enjoyed 😄 She has been well socialised and we look forward to using her services again, xx
We were really pleased to find Caroline to look after our little westie, Skye, in her own home for 9 days. She was not only fantastically looked after but loved too, and Caroline was great at sending photos and updates. We had a very happy dog who had as much of a holiday herself while we were away. We were delighted to find Caroline, who looked after our Westie, Hamish, while we were on holiday recently. Hamish was looked after in a clearly loving and caring environment and came home a happy, contented and refreshed dog. We are extremely grateful to Caroline for extending Hamish’s stay by an extra day as our flight was cancelled with no prior warning. Thank you for your flexibility and for helping us out. We wouldn’t hesitate to ask Caroline to look after Hamish again in the future.
Our Spaniel Jonas always has a wonderful time staying with Caroline. When we pick him up it’s clear that he’s so much more relaxed than in a kennels environment. It’s great to be able to trust he’s in safe hands in a familiar place when we go away.
We are over the moon to have found Caroline. Being new dog owners, finding a caring and responsible boarder for Charlie was a concern. We needn’t have worried, Charlie has now enjoyed several stays with Caroline and Nick and they have provided such a loving home from home. The regular updates, pictures and videos have enabled us to see what a fun time he is having and how he is loving his doggy cuddles and massages! With Charlie booked in for a longer stay over the summer, it is so reassuring to know that we can have a relaxing holiday knowing he will be receiving such loving care. We certainly hit the jackpot when we found Caroline and would not hesitate to recommend her.

I couldn't recommend Howlies more! Our dog, Tofu, was quite a nervous pup when we got her — she was cautious of people and I worried about how she would behave without us around. I had no reason to worry, and the incredible day care team put us at ease. Tofu squeals at excitement at the door when we say the word "Howlies" and has developed so much trust with those that work there. She is always incredibly happy to see any member of the team: reassuring us that she truly has a fantastic time, every time. As a puppy, Tofu received monthly "reports" to help us identify her strengths and areas for development. As a first time dog owner, I would worry about what was normal behaviour, and Andy and the team were always happy to discuss — a level of support other doggy daycares couldn't provide. We also receive updates at the end of each day at day care, documenting her behaviour, eating habits, time outs, etc. and receive regular communication from Howlies about collection times — all an absolute dream! Overall, Howlies has been fantastic and we are so grateful for the love and fun they give our little Tofu!
The Howlies team have been a welcome addition to our pooch Seamus's life. He has become more confident around other dogs and thoroughly enjoys his trips to day care. What we find valuable for our routine is the pick-up and drop off service and the online booking of the services. We also really appreciate the daily reports. I would recommend Howlies to anyone! I have seen firsthand how much the team genuinely love and care about my dog, and how much she trusts them in return. There is no doubt in my mind that I can trust the team at Howlies to keep my dog safe, whilst having fun and keeping her entertained whilst I'm at work. Sending my dog to daycare started off purely as a way to socialise her when she was younger, but I'd struggle to stop sending her to day care knowing how much fun she has when she's there. A big thank you to the Howlies team for everything!
We have been using Howlies for a few months now and have had an excellent experience with them. Our dog loves going there every week, and gets super excited when Andy turns up at the door. Their communication is excellent- we always know when the dog will be picked up/ dropped off, we get regular updates via text/ social media, and they are always accommodating to our needs. I feel 100% confident in leaving the dog in Howlies care.
I would highly reccomend Howlies to anyone. My collie Charlie is a very nervous and anxious boy who needs time and patience before he will settle in a new environment but the second I say "You're going to school today!" He absolutely lights up!! The staff here are so loving, attentive and caring, Charlie usually comes home exhausted after hours of playing, cuddles and attention, I just love seeing how excited he gets when it's school day. I love the communication I have with the team, I always know what my boys been up too, and always know when he's leaving the house and coming home thanks to their very efficient drop off and collection service. I just can't thank Howlies enough, thank you for caring for my pup!

I can't fault Andy and the team at Howlies. They care so much about their dogs. Our pup was always so happy to go there and we always felt he was well looked after. Andy is also really easy to contact and is so helpful, accommodating last minute requests and going out of his way to help.

Amazing place! Completed my work experience here and got to see the ins and outs of the business. It's a genuinely lovely place and the dogs are treated wonderfully. Andy (the owner) is a really dedicated guy and the staff all look after every dog to their own individual needs. There are plenty of safety measures in place and every dog is treated equally and given unlimited playtime, rest time and cuddles! I even brought my own dogs as I was so impressed. Thank you Howlies! Viktor absolutely loves going to Howlies. He’s looked after so well. Always happy to hop into the collection van! Andy and the staff are all extremely nice. Very flexible with bookings when they can be as well, which for us is a huge help! If you need doggy daycare in / around Bedford, I would highly recommended Howlies!

Lovely daycare centre and Sharon and the others couldn't have been more helpful. Unfortunately my dog wasn't suitable for daycare but when they gave him a trial they were very considerate of his well-being when introducing him to the other dogs and of how he was coping being separated and called me as soon as he had enough. It's obvious they really care about the dogs in their care and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a daycare centre.

Everyone who reads my reviews, knows that I give a honest and in my opinion, I would not usually criticise but if needed give constructive criticism. In this case, I can truly say that this dog park is probably the worst place I have ever been to. Firstly, it looks like it’s built in a scrap yard, you then step into a poly tunnel, and by goodness, the smell hits you. A Pungent smell of ammonia. Glad it was a winter’s day. The fixtures were shabby to say the least. Outside wasn’t much better. A graveled area with a pool for the dogs to play in. This was half full and filled with algae and pond weeds. Luckily it was blocked off with old wood. We had booked it for one hour but lasted about 25 minutes. If you check out their website it looks amazing, but in reality it’s rundown and neglected. I honestly can’t recommend this place.
The dogs loved it and were very tired by the end. We weren’t able to get in till 25 past and there was a lot of dog mess left in the indoor area. Will try again as definitely a good place to bring and socialise dogs
Absolutely awesome place!! We had the best time. We used the pool (private hire), they have toys and life vests available. Also popped into the daycare centre which is essentially activity land for dogs. Fantastic staff. Honestly, couldn’t fault it at all. Will 100% be back.
Where to start, Pawmasters is for me (and it is MY opinion) the best place I have found in the area. Started going when pup was 5 months old, to the small puppy sessions, see pics, initially went elsewhere, as at the time I didn't know about them. I turned up at the other location to find a huge empty field with no stimulation or shelter, just grass and mud, there were 2 x 11 month old Retrievers and an Alsation, my pup was about 10 inches high at this time so even though he tried to play I didn't feel it was safe as they towered over him and battered him down, after 10 minutes I picked him up we left, spoke to the owner about it, he didnt seem that interested, so ended it there. In the meantime I saw Pawmasters and thought I would give them a go, we were placed in the small puppy group, on arrival everyone very friendly and a totally different feel to it, bits and bobs about for them to play with, ball pools and lots of other mad pups of a suitable size, he loved it - again see pics. At the appropriate time we were asked to move the the large puppy session, he was then the smaller end but well within his ability as he was of course bigger himself, we went weekly for a good few months and again he loved all his new friends. We used the open field a few times, which Anthony had very kindly let me have for a reduced rate as on several occasions I planned a meet up with other members and they were no shows, he of course did not have to do this. Then the Day Care started, well, again its amazing, its the only place in the area that opens at 7am and closes at 6pm, this is the only place that suits my work hours (all others I found where 8.30-5.30pm), pup is familiar with the location and the people, he is ready to go before we stop the car, I fully trust Anthony with him all day and he has even progressed to a puppy minder as shown in some of the latest pics on FB. I WFH most days but go to the office 1/2 days a week so gives him a change too. I was hugely disappointed on hearing of the potential closure last year but if thats what was happening best I go find something else. I located a place near work, the hours were the standard as above so didnt really suit. I made an appointment and popped over, it was also a kennels which in itself is not an issue, however, on the tour, he would be let out into a massive empty field every few hours with up to 50 dogs, if the weather was bad they were in a large shed, and at various times during the day depending on staffing maybe put into the kennels, this was not what I was wanting. In the meantime Pawmasters made the choice to continue running, for that I am very grateful as I am sure many others were. We also use Shana's grooming services, and he always comes back just as I requested. Anthony and Shana are always super helpful, chatty and polite, I have no issues leaving him with them. They are always adding new things to the play areas, there is a designated puppy/small dog area, a chill out area if its all getting a bit much, a couple of water pools, ball pools, inside and outside areas, and plenty of things to keep them busy and stand on (Milo) and a bus with air con for the hot summer days, I would definitely recommend, but as stated on the FB page, go visit make your own choice. This is my opinion and we are all adult enough to make the choice of who/how we want our pet, child, mother to be treated so you can make those decisions yourselves on who looks after, clips, trains, feeds you family members. Look at yourselves too before some of the bad comments, I aim to treat people how I would like to be treated, if you don't like it move on!!!! be constructive and leave the negativity out of it if it's just based on YOUR OPINION.
We came with three newfies to use swimming pool, pool was perfect for what we needed. Ramp was big enough for two of them to stand next to each other. We were greeted by the owner , who seemed like a nice person. I honestly cannot complain about anything, pool is fenced and secure, all wooden areas have artificial grass so you wont slip. If you don't have a life jacket there are plenty too choose from provided as well as some water toys. For the price they are charging you get very good deal. Loved how secluded it is and fact that we could see some lovely horses grazing on neighboring paddocks. We will be coming back for sure
Large field for dogs to run in. Hired out by the hour. Great to have a safe space, for them to be exercised & have fun. Grass not been cut this year, difficult to open door in fence. Rubbish piled up in field and throughout the site. This has really gone down hill.

My dog loves it here. He gets incredibly excited in the car when he recognises the route, and he loves Anthony and always gives him an uncontrollably jumpy hello. The opening times are perfect for us, and Anthony is always very kind to be flexible with half days too. Highly recommend.
Pawmaster Dog centre is fantastic 👌 highly praise Anthony for the way he runs this centre! Making it super clean and tidy and providing plenty of entertainment for the dogs! The dog daycare is outstanding also! My pup no longer attends daycare but when he was there he thrived so much and became a more confident dog due to the care and love Anthony showed and gave my pup while in his care! I highly recommend Anthony and Pawmaster!! I also use the trainer that has now set up the boot camp on pawmaster land and its outstanding! A wonderful trainer who has helped one of my pups start to overcome his aggressive towards other dogs and the other pup to stop pulling on the lead and learn his manners when with other dogs! Highly praise Anthony at Pawmaster and Mick at Sparta kennels! What a great Duo!!

Excellent ! Lots of space for your dog to run around and a separate quiet place for them to go and rest when worn out. Carol and her staff really know what they're doing and take great care of our pooch when we need somewhere to leave him. As a recognised breeder Carol has fantastic knowledge and understanding of dogs and how to train and look after them. You will be hard pressed to find similar facilities and care, we would not consider anywhere else. Thoroughly Recommended Chris Dolphin
A very knowledgeable and friendly breeder. 3 years down the line and still always happy to give advice and discuss our dog. Can't recommend highly enough. Haven't used the day care yet but I am sure it will be top notch.
