This sit was the uncommon kind of sit that you hope will never happen to any sitter or pet parent. Spuds had a kitty crisis while roaming outdoors and didn't come home for over a day. In the end, all resolved ok. Jan and Lothar returned from their getaway a day early and Spuds was actually nearby, whole but spooked. So grateful for a relatively easy kitty homecoming.

More generally, M Jaeger and Spuds don't actually know they're supposed to be in by a certain time, and on the sunnier afternoons when you might like to be out and about (weather is fickle), they would like to stay out and about, too!

Ours was a short holiday-weekend sit. Jan and Lothar released me from the normal garden duties -- they took care of the regular tending before leaving, which was nice and unexpected. Their food garden is enviable. They grow many beds of yummy food, which is the dream (for some of us!). Also, the guest bed is *very* comfortable.

There were some differences between the listing / welcome guide and the sit, most noticeably the kitties' feeding schedule and wifi credentials. There was also a transition day built in to the posted sit dates (the sit started on the second day).

This was one of the best pet sits we’ve ever done. Frida and Kahlo are the sweetest pups, each full of personality and very well-behaved.

Frida loves cuddling up next to you on the couch and will look deep into your soul for a belly rub. She is kind, gentle, gives amazing hugs, and is lots of fun to play with.

Kahlo is truly one of a kind! She is incredibly smart and loves to cuddle on your lap. She will literally watch TV with you and keep your feet warm!

Jacky and Harry are amazing people. They are so caring and charismatic! We felt instantly comfortable with them. They welcomed us into their home and provided us with everything we needed, even letting us stay an extra night when they returned to save us some travel time.

Their house is absolutely stunning, equipped with everything you need (best coffee), and located in a perfect area with beautiful parks, pubs, shops, and restaurants. Despite the amazing suburb, we enjoyed staying in with Kahlo and Frida, who are the best companions.

We really loved this experience and hope to see them all again soon! Highly, highly recommend! ☺️
