Sorry for late reviews. All thumbs up. A nice place with a lovely, smart, and very nice-looking dog, Ella. Use of a car was included in the offer which makes it easier to move around especially for going to grocery shopping. The apartment is located in a nice, modern, clean area and is accessible to entire island of Jeju from a bus stop 5 minutes walk. There are many places to visit in the island including hiking trails in Halla San. Highly recommend to those who want experience Korea and Jeju Island. Hope to come back for another house/dog sitting in the future.
Lady is a beautiful dog with an angelic personality! She was such a pleasure to spend time with. She was very accepting of us as new friends in her home. Although she is an older dog she was quite energetic on her walks and interested in exploring. She’d have a great sleep afterwards and would snuggle with us when sleeping at night. Leigh and Charlie were superb hosts and their home was like visiting a design magazine. Extremely well appointed and clean—just beautiful. The community was scenic and friendly and knew Lady well. There were innumerable walks to explore throughout our time there. Restaurants were 3-4 miles from the home and offered many great choices for local seafood and several international cuisine options.
Thank you Caroline for taking the time to write a review for me. To say it was a pleasure to stay in your country home and take care of your animals is an understatement. Anyone who is lucky enough to get the opportunity to sit for you will be well rewarded. It was such a novelty collecting fresh eggs from the hens, something I hadn’t done since I was a child. Roxer was a very friendly easy going girl and of course the cats paid me just enough of attention to get fed! Your home has the benefit of a rural location, but with easy access to interesting small towns and villages not to mention Kilkenny city being only 20 mins away. However, I guarantee future sitters they won’t want to go too far from their country home away from home. It’s a very special place.
Angela was a wonderful host and went above and beyound to make my family feel welcome in her home. Coco was a dream to pet-sit. She is very friendly and well behaved. We went on lots of walks around the neighborhood and the community is very pet-friendly. My kids loved playing with Coco and we are looking forward to visiting again.
I had such a good time with Ringo. He is an absolute sweetheart, and loves nothing more than a cuddle. He is very easy to look after and will shower you with love. Ringo is used to sleeping with his owners. I tried but could not sleep because of his snoring! We quickly got into a nice routine though, and he was absolutely fine. The house is also immaculate, close to transport and everything you may need for a comfortable stay. Thank you for having me Janette and Ringo!
What a lovely sit this was!🧡I thoroughly enjoyed sitting for sweet Otis. To be a relatively young pup, he is exceptionally well trained and obedient. He listens really well to commands, is able to be independent and do his own thing throughout the day, and has an adorable personality. Also, walks with him were an absolute breeze! Leah’s home is tidy, peaceful, and well designed. She has a front porch that is perfect for enjoying the lovely summer Seattle weather, and a yard with plenty of space to lay out a blanket to have a picnic, read a book, or do some morning yoga. The views of the mountains from the large windows in the living spaces and on walks were simply breathtaking. The location of Leah’s home is also wonderful. Leah’s neighborhood was quiet with friendly neighbors and eateries, coffee shops, parks, hiking trails, and public transit within walking distance. Leah was also a joy to meet!😊She left clear and detailed instructions on how to care for Otis and was kind, communicative, and welcoming throughout my stay. I wish this sit was longer! I highly recommend this sit and would happily sit for sweet Otis again!!
