I haf such a blast with MaeMae and Gilbert. They are some of the sweetest dogs I have met! Low maintenance, behave very well and want all the love you can give them. Kelly’s house is lovely, located in a safe and quiet area with friendly neighbors and a beautiful park to walk the pups in. I had a lovely time sitting for Lynn and Brian. Their home is very comfortable and easy to care for. They are calm and friendly folks, and you will enjoy talking with them. The dog and the cat were very much what you might expect. Dog=very friendly, Cat = very aloof. I was warned about her propensity to claw if you did not pet her enough, so we just decided to leave each other alone. HaHa. They both slept a lot, and as I like to do that these days it worked out well. :) Lynn and I kept in touch using Facebook Messenger even though they were on a cruise ship. We both liked being able to do that. If not with Facebook I recommend you have some way to keep in touch. You do need to have a car, stores are not close and there are no buses in the vicinity.
We had a really wonderful time sitting Ruby and the cats in Susanne and John's lovely house. Ruby is absolutely adorable and very affectionate, Ollie and Milo are typical teenageers and look absolutely stunning and Leo is the quiet one. Lots of brushing needed to keep them all tangle free and feeding them all is something of a juggling act as Leo is the only one who won't steal someone elses dinner! There are great little walks around the immediate area and very good, longer ones a little bit further away. Ruby is OK in the back of a car and small enough to lift in and out easily. Also worth a visit is the Cock Inn at North Crawley, which does absolutely amazing food. The accommodation is in an adjacent annex, which is comfortable and quiet - we had Ruby in with us overnight and she was absolutely no trouble at all. All the other domestic facilities are first rate and in all it was a very relaxing sit. We really hope to see the place again (in the Summer!)
A wonderful sit with two beautiful kitties. I had all I needed to ensure a swift sit, the flat is well located and includes all you need to stay happily. The two cats have great personalities will happily play with you, and let you know when it’s dinner time. Would happily return 🤗
We loved living in Grace and Guy’s beautiful home for almost a week. It’s just 25 minutes away from London by train, but it feels like you're actually in the country, surrounded by greenery and solitude. Our accommodations were exceptional, but even more than that, Grace was incredibly kind and helpful as we were dealing with a healthcare crisis at the time. Though we only met one time, she treated us like friends. Cow was a wonderful emotional support dog and Melon’s energy was infectious.
I enjoyed my stay at Gay & David's. They live in a great location, with a great view & it's convenient to Asheville. All 3 cats are very sweet and Xena was a lot of fun to interact with. They kept me very busy. They left an empty refrigerator which was great. The welcome guide had detailed instructions & they answered questions that came up. Talking, singing & whistling with Xena was the highlight for me, she was so much fun!
