Since I arrived but two hours before Richard and his family departed on their holiday (and I, unfortunately had to depart a few hours before their return) I did not get to spend too much time with them, but that short time was nice, nonetheless. Richard gave me a quick, but thorough tour of the house and my responsibilities, and then had to go get his youngest daughter from school and finish the holiday prep, but his parents were there, about to go on holiday with them, and I was able to sit and speak with them until their departure, which was quite nice. Richard and Lisi's older daughter was also at home, keeping us all entertained with her headstands and interest in Harry Potter. Unfortunately, I never got to meet Richard's wife Lisi, as she was already away from home upon my arrival, but she was the one I was communicating with via WhatsApp once they were on their holiday, so I can only assume that she is as great as the rest of the family I did meet. Their home in the Queen's Park area of west London is charming and comfortable, and in a very convenient location just a few minutes walk away from shops, parks, and a underground/overground train station, and just a few minutes more to some High Roads for a large variety of shops, pubs, restaurants and grocery stores. Louie Dog took to me immediately, which is always nice. He is a very laid-back dog, and is quite comfortable taking long naps throughout the day, either outside in their beautiful back garden, on the sofa by the front window, or upstairs in one of the beds; even cuter is when he would burrow his way under a bed's duvet for said nap. Louie was excellent on his leash out on walks, and never showed any aggression towards other dogs or humans; he even patiently allowed a human baby to slowly get comfortable enough to approach him several times with pets, pats, and rubs. Much to that baby's surprise, Louie dog returned the affection with a nose-to-nose rub; it was priceless. Great family, beautiful house in a vibrant area of west London, and an awesome dog!! I was so sad to leave Louie. Thank you, Richard and Lisi, for allowing me to take care of your pet and home, it was a great time.
Thank you Alex, Jonathan, Owen and JP for welcoming us into your lovely house for a memorable sit. We were immediately made to feel welcome. All instructions were clear. We immediately fell in love with Charlie, the Boxer. He was such a pleasure and we will always remember this sit. Thank you for allowing us the freedom to explore, it was greatly appreciated! We can certainly recommend this house sit to anyone. We hope to see you guys again some day, maybe in Cape Town Karen and Manus
Our stay at Annie and Cristian's house was excellent. They have a beautiful home in a great area of Barcelona—quiet and close to many restaurants. The house has all the comforts one could wish for. As for Santi and Valentina, they are the most affectionate cats we've ever encountered. It was hard to say goodbye to them as we grew very fond of them. They are very friendly and cuddly, making them easy to care for due to their intelligence. Hope to see them soon. Thank you, Annie and Cristian, for trusting us.
Joe had a nice space in a quiet neighbourhood. Lilah was cute and easy to get a long with. It was a nice, short stay!
I had a wonderful stay looking after Vixen at Jo's place. Vixen is a sweet cat, super friendly and easy to look after. She was the puurfect roomate! Communication with Jo was great both pre-sit and throughout my stay. She gave me all the instructions I needed to look after Vixen and to have a good stay in her place. The house it's so beautiful and cozy, loved the aesthetic! You can get to the house from Edinburgh centre by bus which is super convenient. I'd happy recommend this sit to another sitter and I will sit for Jo in the future if the opportunity arise.
The house was wonderful and the pets were adorable. Wonderful view of the Crow River from the house and backyard, quiet neighborhood. Sadie, Albus, and Moose are so much fun. The cats Suki and Mango were also very loving. Clara has a highly efficient setup for all her pets and it was very easy to take care of everyone. Guest bed was extremely comfortable. Would definitely sit again.
