Kathleen’s gentle spirit and love of walking was a perfect match for our little Yorkie, Pinot. Not only was he beautifully cared for, but house was immaculate when we returned and our plants were flourishing. She was responsive and gave us regular updates with photos while we were away which I found so helpful. I can highly recommend Kathleen without hesitation to be a very conscientious, highly responsible sitter.
I had the pleasure of looking after Zak & Polly for 12 days in Patrick & Malgosia lovely home. Once the weather warmed up it was perfect for my working holiday, Internet was fine during my stay I logged on most days to work. The bed has a memory foam mattress topper and I slept great, Malgosia has many herbs & spices & plenty of pans/utensils for cooking. Zak likes to be outside and also sit with you, poor Polly was a little off during my visit but she perked up and enjoys a little walk around. I'm from the suburbs so being next to a pig farm was little off putting at first then after a couple of days I got used to it, you only get a strong wiff when you take Zak & Polly for their walks. Nearest supermarkets are just a 10 min drive away & I highly recommend the Monday markets. I did get caught out with everything being closed on a Sunday, I didn't get to replenish some items as I'm not used to a total shut down on Sundays. I had constant communication with Patrick, mainly to keep them updated on Polly.
Chester is a beautiful dog to housesit. Chester is very calm and enjoys rubs, playing fetch indoors & very short walks in the neighborhood. He is not too fond of other dogs in the area, as he starts to whimper when he comes in contact with them. Unfortunately, Linda could be a better communicator. There was no welcome guide or list of important information/emergency contact upon my arrival. I inquired about trash disposal & watering of plants & no reply. I also sent pics of Chester. Upon leaving for her trip, Linda mentioned that Chester suffered from dry skin on his chest. I would pet Chester, and Chester would sit down & leave very noticeable dry skin flakes on me & where he rested. During the sit, as I went to offer Chester affection & days passed, it turned out to be much worse than stated. You could see the dry skin in his coat of hair. I reached out to Linda, who said she would purchase fish oil for delivery. I waited for the delivery (via Amazon) and, after two days, reached back out to Linda, who replied more than a day later that they were busy with work. After that, she placed the order & I received the fish oil the next day. I understand; however, I am glad he or I was in no emergency. Upon my departure, I asked Linda for a review, and after more than a week, after the sit ended, I received a lovely review. I went on to thank Linda for the review & almost a week later, Linda replied and requested a review.
Watching Utah, S'mores, and Winter was my first official sit through THS and the experience could not have been more perfect. Each of these pets is so sweet in their own unique way and being around them brought me a lot of joy. Icing on the cake is they are extremely well-behaved and easy to care for. Molly, Doug, and the kids have a beautiful home and made me feel really comfortable when I arrived. I was so lucky to have spent the weekend reading in the hot tub or on the porch, cooking nice meals in their lovely kitchen, and enjoying the nearby mtb trails. I had a great stay at Claire, John and Beatrix's house. They are truly great people and made me feel at home, always available to answer any questions I had. The animals are very kind and gentle, Esty will always be around wanting to be hugged and the cats really like to receive pettings. I highly recommend it to people who like a peaceful and beautiful place and who really appreciate animals. I hope to be able to return soon :)

Excellent service with the dogs and with owner! I made a silly mistake after a day of traveling, and urgent need to use the ladies room after a plane and car ride, that I messed up and transferred money to the wrong account. This made the funds unavailable for 3-5 days and they were so gracious to understand the situation and allow me to place a card on file for them to charge when the funds became available. They were incredibly understanding, thoughtful, and kind to me in my panic. I am so grateful to Pet Paradise NO and will definitely recommend and use them in the future! ❣️
This was a great place for my fur babies! They loved the one on one attention. I also like that my 2 large dogs can share a suite together. The report cards are really cute and keep my mind at ease!
UPDATE: No response from them about my visit. Asked for the regional manager to call and no call back either! Don’t wasted your time nor your money on this place?m!!! Took advantage of the free day pass for my little 3 pound dog since she is on meds a few times a day and I am trying to get back to work. I let the staff know this before I booked that she had to take 2 meds multiple times a day but for the hours I needed her to be there she would only need to have them given once. I go to pick her up and was told my dog can’t come back because she is on meds and they can only administer meds 3 times a day. Glad to know they truly only deal with dogs mainly not on meds. It is sad but I will take my money elsewhere! One more thing….she is on a prescription dog food. I made it for her before I dropped her off and it was thrown away. Her food is not cheap! Staff also knew this!
If your dog is fearful or reactive THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU! I had to come back and get my dog because they said he wasn’t cooperating. He is a reactive dog, they’ve boarded him before but now they say they have a “new policy” and can’t. Then when I got there the manager wouldn’t listen to a word I said, interrupted me and claimed my dog tried to bite her four times. I told her I already gave her one star on Google and she said “leave all the bad reviews you want, I can’t let my staff get bit” which is respectable except her attitude wasn’t, and he has literally never done anything like that, ever. He is a fearful dog but doesn’t attack people. Maybe they just suck at their job and shouldn’t tell people they can work with reactive dogs if they can’t. When I told her I was leaving this review, she said that’s fine. I’m going to respond and say your dog tried to bite me. I was still trying to talk to her, and she walked away and close the door, how completely unprofessional. Look elsewhere.
MiMi had a wonderful time at Pet Paradise. We were in the unsettling position of being out of town when a hurricane was bearing down on the pets. Pet Paradise has an emergency policy for just such an occasion. I was impressed with how committed they are to pets' well-being, balanced with their concern for the humans. .
The staff are good as gold. I highly recommend checking this place out if you need a place to leave your pet. I've never been away from Marley, but after seeing the pics the staff sent I am completely at ease. I'd give them 10 stars if I could.
Absolutely the best. Our dogs Fish and Tank stay for a few days. They came home, healthy (they are both on meds), beyond happy, and smelling like blueberries after their baths. Thank you so much for taking such great care of our boys.
Everyone was very nice and helpful. The price is average or maybe a little bit higher, but they get a bit more as well. They are able to go in and out of their climate controlled rooms to a private outdoor space. Our dog seemed very excited and his normal self when we picked him up. Overall, I would recommended them unless you are on a tight budget.
Great staff and wonderful experience. We had our dogs staying together in one suite, and everything went smoothly. They catalouge and count the medications for each dog to help verify proper schedules. Great experience!

Brought in an outside cat who is about to be adopted in with a puncture wound. These doctors and team were SO kind and gentle with him, and so informative and accommodating. They made his first vet trip easy. We’re very thankful and lucky to have come here, would give six stars if I could.
Went here on an emergency visit for one of my dogs and ended up switching care for my other dog completely. The vet that saw us expressed a passion for dermatology and we spoke about my other furbabies life long skin issues. They always make me feel great about bringing my pets there!
We are new to the area and hadn’t established vet care yet. On a Sunday morning, our 12 year old Shih Tzu had his first ever seizure. After searching for a nearby vet, we found Pet Care Center and they worked our dog in within ten minutes. Amanda at the front desk was so kind and kept us updated as we waited. The tech and veterinarian were both very patient, took their time with us and were transparent about options and pricing. They worked with us to come up with a plan and additional testing for our boy in the near future. We are so grateful to have found Pet Care Center who made a scary situation the best it could be. Our boy was enjoying the sunshine by the afternoon!
I recently took my dog, Kobe, to Dr. Maddison and her team for what I thought was an emergency due to tummy troubles. I was extremely worried, especially because I had very little money to spare. Dr. Maddison and her amazing vet techs were incredibly understanding and compassionate. They provided excellent care and helped me treat Kobe without breaking the bank. Their professionalism, kindness, and dedication truly stood out. I am so grateful for their help and highly recommend this clinic to anyone in need of veterinary care!
Dr. Bret Martin and staff are fantastic. They take good regular care of my dogs and I’d trust Dr. Bret if any emergencies arose. He recently performed emergency surgery on my out of town guests’ dog and they were thoroughly impressed with his knowledge and care.
They took amazing care of Gibby. He went in very lethargic and not feeling great. After two days of watching over him, he came back feeling better. Hoping we figured out what was wrong.

Pet Care Center saved our mini bull terrier’s life after she was hit by a car! They were very empathetic to us and allowed us access to visit her as often as we wanted, the whole time she was in the hospital. We were able to trust that she was in the best hands possible, and they always explained every step they took. She is now home on her way to making a full recovery. Emergency vet services are not cheap, but having our fur baby with us today is priceless.
We are very comfortable taking our pets to Pet Care Center because we know they will receive the best care possible. When we had to have 2 of our babies put down, on both occasions the compassion we experienced was very comforting. We will continue to use them for our pet care needs as long as we have a pet in our home because they are awesome and amazing at what they do.
My dogs are well taken care of here. I can enjoy our trips knowing they are in good hands. A plus is a veterinary is there if needed. Can’t recommend more!!
We love Pawlins!! Duke loves to go there and every time he leaves his tail is always wagging. We use them for their grooming services and day sitting. We love being able to watch him on the cameras while we are away. We recommend Pawlins to our friends and family all the time!
Gizmo loved it at Pawlins. We live in a Travel Trailer and sometimes site electric is very questionable. In NO this is definitely the case. Pawlins gave us the the peace of mind to know our fur baby was safe and cool in the hot weather while we enjoyed a day out in the French Quarter. They are awesome.
Today was my dog’s first interview and she spent a half day there. I found the facility clean, the staff courteous and ultimately my dog was safe. I watched her throughout the morning on the webcam. My pet also needed a vet analysis to update her records and it was convenient she could go right next door to the veterinary hospital affiliated with Pawlins.

Our buddies board their dog here. So when we had a last minute trip, we decided to try it instead of a pet sitter. It was great! the staff is super communicative (particularly when our pup was shy at first and a little intimidated), very easy to reach and the videos of play time were great. We also liked the rates. Would board here again
The staff was very nice and friendly. I dropped off my cat for a 7 day stay. The place was very clean and didn’t smell at all like cats (or dogs for that matter). The report cards they sent were very cute- it included a picture and a little note “from the cat” like “meow, I’m doing well…” I’ve added pictures they sent me. It was easy to coordinate the cats stay, and drop off and pick up were seamless. The cat was clearly well cared for while there. They even washed the blanket we dropped him off with.
Can not say enough good things about Pawlins. I have been to other places and they all smelled really bad. Pawlins keeps their facility very clean and sanitized not to mention my pup loves going to play with all her friends. Every person is so nice and professional and friendly. Lucy, my dog also gets groomed here and they always do an amazing job on her. I highly suggest and recommend this place for all your fit babies needs.
Pawlins is the best! We’ve been taking our dog to get groomed here, and we toured for boarding incase ever needed. Good prices and options to pick from. The workers are nice and helpful and always happy to help my dog. She always comes back from grooming happy too
It's hard to put into words just how incredible this place is! Very rarely have I walked into a dog establishment and felt 110% at ease... this place does just that! The staff go really above and beyond taking care of each, and every animal that walks through that door. There is a level of compassion amongst the employees that put you, as the owner, in such a place of comfort. Every dog owner that walks through those Hounds Town doors knows that their dog Is in the best care. There is a great quote that says"Everyone believes they have the best dog in the world, and they are absolutely right ". That reflects exactly what Hounds Town is all about.
Robbie & I took Finn into Hounds Town today for his evaluation & tour. Finn seemed super happy overall during our visit. And we are at ease at dropping him off on Monday morning for his 1st day back of doggy daycare !!!!!
This is the best doggy daycare facility I've ever been to. They take the time to group my dog with the right group, as she can be a little snappy. They love her as much as I do and she loves having a great time there. She's always worn out when she comes home!
I absolutely love what I experienced with the walk thru today!! I’m looking forward to my big fur baby to attend not only daycare but also boarding. The staff are amazing! Extremely sweet, helpful and informative. This place offers so much for the wellbeing and happiness for the fur babies!! I had never boarded my cat before, but I had to and tried Hounds Town because my brother brings his dog to play there. The facility is big, very clean and the cat boarding room is separated from the dog activity. The cat “condos” are big enough and the cats I saw looked comfy. The staff I met were all so nice and I could tell they love the pets!!!! Our experience was great and I highly recommend Hounds Town!!!!
They shaved my dog without my permission!!! This is our second visit. "The groomer discussed with you" they say, no apologies, no empathy, nothing. I literally said that's not my dog when she was brought out after I paid. My daughter cried when she saw her. At no point was I told that she will be SAHVED to the skin. Not even a warming of any kind that "she might look different", "it will be more than a trim" just look at the before and after photo. "Her undercoat is matted, I will do what I can" that was the "discussion" with the groomer. If that discussion resulted in this, you really need to work on your communications. That aside, who would think that a groom for a FLUFFY dog would be to shave them down to the skin?? Does the groomer here not have the basic understanding that you should not shave a dog's undercoat??! Oh by the way, after the first visit - they said they brushed her out really well and we kept up with the brushing afterwards. So do they just say all long hair dogs are matted? Looking at the reviews of various other shaved dogs, I realized that this might not be a separate incident. So everyone please beware. Oh, they also moved the appointment and promised coupons for the inconveniences, which we did not receive any. Not that it matters, never coming back.
Went today to get groomed…Bath, Nails, Trim, etc… which were all done well. The groomer was very good with understanding my expectations with how I wanted my baby trimmed. I would have given 5 stars but you would think that after over $80 of services that my baby would have smelled good! She smelled like she had been around other dogs… Someone should have noticed that she looked cute but didn't smell good…
Nothing but grand things to say about The Dog Stop Metairie. They take great of my two dogs Luna and Stella. They treat them as if they were their very own, and for that I am so grateful! If there is any concerns regarding my dogs they are very prompt and great at communicating and keeping me in the loop. Thanks for all you all do for my peace of mind while I'm away, and keeping my doggos safe!
This Dog Stop location has been such a lifesaver for our family! They are our 1 stop shop for everything - daycare, grooming, boarding - and I love that I can find the best dog food there. The staff is always so friendly and helpful.
I transported my friend's two dogs, NOLA & Mia, for emergency boarding. Mia doesn't usually like other animals or is very timid with other people. However, The Dog Stop attendants were calm, caring, and attentive to Mia. She responded well to their care and was happy to be at The Dog Stop. NOLA loves everyone and is a gregarious soul❣️ She enjoyed her stay as well with no issues. If I had dogs I certainly would board them at The Dog Stop. I was very impressed by their care and attention they gave my friends dogs. Her dogs have a BARKING GOOD TIME @The Dog Stop. It's NO BARKER as to why she entrusts doggie care to The Dog Stop🐶🦴🐾

Oh my GAWD 😁 Where do I start.... This facility and it's staff are AMAZING! Their hands on approach and compassion plus their genuine love for animals SHOWS as though a beam of light! My fur baby has never been around other dogs in an open place not even in a doggy park; just with friends and their fur babies. Bringing roxford here had me anxious and a bit nervous but the staff somehow had him playing, running around, joining other fur babies and the BEST part, when we picked him up, he was HAPPY and playful instead of shaking or shedding from nerves! Thank you camp bow wow and I look forward to bringing both fur babies back as much as possible!

Fantastic place for your pups. SUPER clean and loving staff. My dog happily runs into the building every single time. When I pick him up he’s exhausted from playing with the other dogs all day. Lots of extra activities added during the day.
On November 22nd-November 30th I entrusted the Camp Bow Wow Airport location with the care of my dog during a recent trip, but I was heartbroken by the outcome. Upon pickup, my dog had visible bites makes from other dogs, was emotionally shaken and underweight. When I emailed the manager of this establishment, I received no email or phone call after spending over $700 for a luxury suite and other services. I expected professionalism and compassion, but this facility failed to meet basic standards of care. I strongly urge pet owners to look elsewhere for reliable and humane care. Your dog will be left alone in a building with no person on the premises for over 12 hours at night. On more than a few occasions it took the staff over two hours once they arrived in the morning to let my dog out in the yard. If you want one on one care for your dog you will have to pay for it. The staff has too many dogs per person to provide for proper supervision of your dog. If you care about the well being of your beloved dog I would seriously choose somewhere else to board them.
My Dutton loves Camp BW NOLA Airport and so do I! It's a clean and safe environment and when Dutton is there I never have to worry about his care.
Our dog has stayed here just for daycare and also overnight! He always comes home happy and excited. The camera app is very cute and it's fun to check in on him throughout the day. Never had any issues with our dogs treatment and they have very competitive pricing for dogcare.
Very easy option for someone who is traveling. Drop off and pick up was simple and so was making the payment. I would have liked a little more info about the facility and maybe had a tour to see it. Also didn't know that they had cameras where I could peep in on my pet until I found it on the app. Prob my fault for not asking more questions though. No complaints. Will use their services again.
Camp Bow Wow is so great! We always bring our puppy Nipsey for boarding and daycare and he just loves it so much! Everyone is always very nice and accommodating every time we come! So happy to have them close by for Nipsey to enjoy!

Our first time using Nonie's Pet Care and we will certainly be long time clients. We have a dog that does not like doggie day care. The sitters from Nonie's were so sweet to our dog who loves to play catch. They made sure she ate, had fresh water and got her playtime in. Even came later into the evening for a late potty break and "tuck in" for the night. Easy to make reservations and payments. Also, they sent updates for each visit with photos of a very happy pet!!! Nonie's Pet Care is a highly professional and dependable pet service!! I have 2 pups and was so nervous about leaving them at home for an extended period without family and did not want to board them. I was able to see my pups and know what they did and what they ate every day. We always look forward to getting the text messages with pictures and updates from each visit. My pups were so happy and playful when we returned. I know they were given lots of attention and love while we were away. My house was even cleaner than when I left on my trip! The pet portal is fabulous for easy scheduling. I can now go on vacation and not feel worried. Liz and her staff are excellent and I highly recommend!
We've been using Nonie's for the past 3 years. As my dogs got older I knew they would prefer to be in their own home vs a kennel so we started using Nonie's and they have been wonderful. They are reliable, answer messages quickly and are always accommodating if we have to make switches. They send pictures and updates at every visit and have always made my dogs feel loved while we're on vacation. Highly recommend.
Nonie's Pet Care is simply the best. They take excellent care of my pets. Our newest dog is a rescue who was exhibiting fear aggression, and I was reluctant to leave him. Nonie's Pet Care are a very dependable pet service and very professional. She comes to my house 5 days a week for 1 hour each day and makes sure my dogs are walked, played with, and gives them treats. I work very long hours and don't really have the time to walk them and play with them like I need to. Since I have used Nonie's Pet Care Service, my dogs are very happy. They even wait for her on the weekends. I would highly recommend Nonie's Pet Care to anyone who is looking for someone to just watch them while they are away or an every day care service.
I moved to New Orleans this past July with my 2 old cats. Troubles is diabetic and needs insulin twice per day. Trixie forgets to eat and needs to be hand fed and given lots of treats. I had a super pet sitter in San Diego and was really nervous about finding a new one here in NOLA, especially because I have to travel for work. I vetted a number of companies but Liz and her crew at Nonie's Pet Care had not only the best program, super fair prices but the photos and updates they provide really give me peace of mind. I've never used such a service as I usually have family watch my two small female dogs when I'm out of town, so I was tentative about doing so but left with no choice due to timing and location. I can only say I had NOTHING to worry about! I met Liz at my apartment before I went out of town and she already was playing with my dogs. While I was out of town, I received texts and pictures each time the visits occurred, which really makes a big difference to know AND see your furry kids are being well taken care of. I cannot recommend Nonie's Pet Care enough. I will definitely use them again when I have to go out of town, and if you are having ANY thoughts about using this time of service, I cannot imagine that there is a better one than Nonie's. Thank you SO much to everyone at Nonie's for knowing even though they are furry, they are still our babies!
Nonie and all her pet sitters are the best! I truly don 't know what I would do without Nonie. I have used Nonie's service on and off since 2017 whenever we would travel. Because of Covid, we didn't travel for 2 years. I recently planned a week long trip and because my Harley had not seen Nonie in 2 years, she came by a week before my trip to visit and play with him. Harley knew her and kissed all over her of course! She truly cares about all pets and she's great with them! She has built a very professional business; yet she still gives that local, small business attention. I can leave town and trust my Harley will be well taken care of and receive lots of attention!!
I cannot recommend Liz and her team at Nonie's Pet Care enough!! She has been caring for my baby, Scotia, now for almost two years. She is THE MOST, reliable, dependable and loving person. She treats my baby like her own and truly loves her job. She has saved me in last minute situations when my husband and I were stuck at the hospital. If you want your pets to be cared for like you would care for them, then you really need to call Liz. I have already recommended her to neighbors and friends and will continue to do so! Took our dog here due to a last minute trip. Do not think we will be back. Though the staff were very nice (the reason this is two stars not one) the facilities are not very nice. The pens where the dogs have outdoor time have no grass and were quite muddy. The dogs do not appear to have any time alone to themselves (which ours likes), but if your dog is very sociable and likes to have a pack around it this may be the place for you. Be warned, it fosters many animals from the Metairie Humane Society. I love shelter dogs and have volunteered at shelters in the past, but that does not mean I want to pay someone to keep my dog like it was in a shelter!
I love this place they make feel loved and they make sure you bond and connect with the right dog or dogs for you and your family. We are very happy with our two new dogs from there Onyx and Dior
I brought my dog here about two weeks ago and left her there only because it was the end of the day and I flew out at 6am the next morning. I called family to come get here. It was very casual and not very clean. There were dogs all over the place and had a lot of random stuff laying around the office
Small, unassuming place, but all I care about is that my boy is happy; and sure enough, he was wagging his tail when we picked him up and wagged his tail going back the next day. He didn't smell and his feet were clean when we got him back. And the owners are obviously animal lovers.
Nice people, place a little on the older side. But I'll take caring people over fancy buildings anyday. My dog was well taken care of at a fair price for boarding.
Our family has used Pampered Pets for years. The dogs love going there. I highly recommend their service.
