We had a great petsitting experience in Taos, NM, caring for Zelda, Leroy, Scooby, and Fluff! The sunny days were ideal for leisurely walks and playtime with the dogs in their lovely home.

The dogs themselves were an absolute joy to be around – each with their unique personalities, forming an endearing and lovable pack. It was heartwarming to witness their excitement and loveable natures.

Jean and Rhonda's food recommendations and hiking behind their property were one of the best parts of the trip.

The combination of pleasant weather, delightful canine companions, and tasty culinary discoveries made this petsitting gig truly special. I feel grateful for the opportunity to have spent time with these lovely dogs in the enchanting setting of Taos, NM.

Staying with Max, Coco and Aika was lovely!
They all are affectionate and educated. Max is full of energy and made everyday playful for us. Even though Coco and Aika tended to be more independent (as cats usually are) they were constantly near us asking for hugs. It was so easy to get along with them. Thank you Dejana for letting us stay, we were comfortable and very welcomed to be there.
We will miss you babies so much.

I was honored to sit for Garbanzo, Adzuki, and Zoey. Adzuki was a little shy, though not so much that she wasn't okay with occasional petting, Garbanzo however loved the attention - though often it was on his own terms. This of course included any time when Garbanzo saw I was standing in the kitchen; that meant it was time to come over and rub against my leg, and sometimes even stretch vertically with his claws on my pants haha. He lessened on doing that over the few days I was sitting, but definitely loved rubbing against my legs. What a sweet cat though, seemed to be interested in my guitar playing as he would sit on the couch with me or in the cat bed near and stare at me; I will definitely miss him. And of course there's Zoey, I had never sat a chinchilla before, what a cute little creature! And she liked to be pet as well. While it was only a couple times a day I attempted to pet her, she was okay with it. Watching her in the "dust bowl" as she (extremely quickly) rolled around in the dust to dry the moisture from her fur, was absolutely amazing! And at the end, she indeed would wipe the dust off her nose, what a cutey!

Megan and Ash were really nice and very interesting to talk to (of course I'm in tech as well so I might be a little biased). The area did have several restaurants and a couple cafes within walking distance (even a few within 5 minutes walking). I'd definitely sit for them again.
