Dog Sitters in Kensington, NH

Jacque is easily the best sitter I have ever had for my cat, Bamboo, and my home! I returned to a contended Bamboo as well as a clean and tidy home. She's definitely someone whom I would love to have back again. During my time away, she sent me regular updates about Bamboo. Also, the things she did clearly showed her love for & knowledge of cats. For instance, she moved a bench next to the window so that Bamboo could view the birds outside more comfortably. I know that my cat really took to her as he was so cuddly with her, something that he hadn't shown as much with other sitters. Home-wise, Jacque took great care of my place, leaving it in a very neat and clean condition. (By the way, she also left me some homecooked stew so that I'd have something to eat after a long journey back!) She was also very gracious and helpful when my home's HVAC system broke down unexpectedly during the second week of her sit. She did not complain/grumble about not having AC - during summer time!! - for a few days before the replacement could be done. She was super helpful during the replacement work by connecting with the installers on schedule availability and by updating me of the progress.

Ruth took care of my house and River for the second time last week, and did a great job. She is an excellent communicator and I can tell she really loves my pup. She takes great care of the house too - in particular helping with daily watering during this dry spell.

Laurel was very patient as I sorted out details of the stay due to some personal issues. She was very flexible and communicated well. While I was away, Laurel provided updates & I returned home to a very happy dog.

Shannon was great. My dog loved her and she sent me pics every day. She left the house exactly as she found it. We'd welcome her back into our home anytime!

Cyndi was fabulous. I'd describe her as the no fuss no muss dog sitter. While some dog sitters need guidance on every little detail, Cyndi was completely self-sufficient. She left the home in perfect shape and totally adored my pup. I'd gladly welcome her back anytime!

Laura was an absolutely extraordinary pet-sitter and housesitter! She is organized, honest, flexible, and patient. She was an absolute pro with my temperamental kitty, in fact my cat was rubbing up against Laura's legs within a day of her arrival (this is amazing). I came home to a super clean home and a super happy kitty. I hope that Laura is able to sit for us again, she is a gem of a sitter!! I would wholeheartedly recommend Laura to other pet owners. Jennifer was lovely and it was a real pleasure to meet her. We knew from communicating beforehand and via video call, that we would be very happy having her stay in our house and look after our two cats. Jennifer gave us text updates while we were away and the cats clearly warmed to her. She is a kind, calm and friendly person, and we really enjoyed getting to know her as she was able to stay overnight before our trip. We'd be very happy if she wanted to stay again.

Sherry was a perfect sitter. She was easy to contact and communicate and followed our instructions regarding house and our dog with no problem. She updated me with pictures and I felt I can relax on my holidays, knowing that Bogdan is in safe hands. We came back to a happy dog and spotless house. Thank you.

Molly was fantastic. She apologized for not being able to meet with me in person before the sit, saying that she prefers a face-to-face meeting to get to know the pet. But we communicated easily via phone and emails. My cat Rider was very comfortable with her and took to her immediately and based on the many pictures that Molly sent, he didn't seem to even notice that I was gone. He trusted her so much that he actually slept with her. My condo was neater than when I left it; all dishes and towels washed and put away, sheets washed and put back on the bed, trash gone, kitty litter clean, etc. I would definitely recommend Molly to anyone and most assuredly will have her on my 'use again' list.

This was my first time having a stranger stay at my place, so this was a big deal for me. I had a good feeling about Kyle from the start and was excited about the idea of helping a fellow Bostonian see the unparalleled city of Austin. Like me, he works from home in the healthcare industry. I had the privilege of meeting Kyle on the first day of the sit. I found him to be friendly, funny, and affable. As this was my first time having a sitter, I texted Kyle details of the apartment and pet care as I thought of them. I appreciated him baring with me through this as I am working to now compile a user-friendly guide. Kyle was sure to communicate frequently. He updated me often about his arrival and departure and also sent pictures of himself with Gypsy during the stay. He also gave me a heads up about having someone over. The only questions he had were about the laundry, which evidently was the one thing I didn't go over. He was self-sufficient and attentive to the fine details of the apartment and the care of my cat. Kyle relieved the stress of stress of separation anxiety my cat goes through when left alone, therefore relieving me of inevitable guilt. My cat seemed to be at ease when I returned home. I could tell she missed me, but she did not seem stressed whatsoever! As Kyle promised, the apartment was not only just as clean as I left it, but cleaner. I have a bad habit of stuffing my recycling underneath the sink and procrastinating the removal. I was pleasantly surprised to find Kyle emptied the whole thing. In this he must have discovered I'm a beer drinker because he also left me a 6 pack! Not only this, but he left a bunch of food, which is great because I'll eat anything you leave in my apartment. Would absolutely have Kyle again. Highly recommend him to give you and your pets ease when traveling.

Elisa was extremely accommodating. She lives nearby so our "get to know" session was in person and River immediately connected with her and we enjoyed our exchanges very much. She arrived the morning we left and asked to walk with us so she could get a feel for River. She held the leash and River seemed to bond right away. While we were gone, Elisa kept us informed with periodic photos and exchanges. River seemed totally content when we arrived home, and the house was just as we left it. Elisa is a kind, compassionate, intuitive house and dog sitter and we would certainly welcome her back in our home.
