Rebecca and Wayne were amazing! I was gone 10 days and my chihuahuas fell in love with them! Even my older, shy, chi, wanted to be on Wayne’s lap! She usually shies away but I think they won her heart. They were both happy I was home but I could tell they missed Rebecca and Wayne after they left! It is a good feeling to have sitters you trust enough to feel comfortable when you are away! Rebecca and Wayne are those sitters! I really cannot say enough good things about them. Everything was wonderful when I returned. They communicated and sent pictures of my babies all the time. The house was tidy and clean. Wayne even fixed my AC when it quit working! If you get a chance to have this couple sit for your pets, I promise you can leave with confidence! They will take care of your pets and your home as if it was their own. Gaynor and John were fantastic hosts from the get go. They communicated everything we needed and provided us with plenty of information about Neymar and the house. They welcomed us into their home a night early to run through Neymar’s routines and were so hospitable and friendly! Neymar was such a breeze to look after! He’s got such a loveable, relaxed and gentle disposition. He walks exceptionally well on the lead and loves playing fetch with his toys. Neymar is truly such a fantastic dog that we’d love to look after again, we adored him! The area was great, there were plenty of parks, grocery stores and eateries to explore and bus connections to Cardiff central. Gaynor and John went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable in their home and we couldn’t recommend them more. Thank you so much John and Gaynor for choosing us, we’d be honoured to sit for you again in the future!
We had a delightful time house sitting for Misti with the adorable and cuddly Pumpkin. He is a love bug who stole our hearts with his playful antics and sweet personality. Despite the occasional attempt to snack on plastic, caring for him was a breeze, with highlights being daily playtime and him curled up purring audibly in our laps. And administering his nightly pill required no fuss at all! Misti's home is elegantly modern, clean, and incredibly comfortable, with private outdoor space, a great kitchen and plenty of natural light. The guest bedroom and bathroom are conveniently situated, offering a remarkably cozy bed and ample space for our personal items. The location is convenient, with groceries, food, and walking paths close by, and downtown Carrboro and Chapel Hill just a quick drive away. Last but not least, Misti was a fantastic host—extremely gracious, communicative, and accommodating even during a busy work trip. She went out of her way to make us feel welcomed and valued and made it clear that she wanted us to be as comfortable as possible. We're really looking forward to our next sit with Misti and Pumpkin!
David and Debbie are wonderful and kind people. They welcomed me warmly at their home. We were able to spend a day together. So I had a chance to get to know Isla better. David was helpful with anything I should know about the town and hike routes which was great as I felt comfortable and safe. Debbie was kind to show me around the house. Isla is just an adorable dog. We've got along together very well. I enjoyed spending time with her so much. She is smart, and active, very into swimming and playing with a ball. At the same time, she's the kind and cuddling girl which I guess is the perfect combo. I'd love to visit David, Debbie and Isla once again in future. That was an incredible time with all of them.
Hannah's house is a lovely renovated house in a small and beautiful village. We had a great time there with Murphy the dog. No matter which direction you walk, amazing views of the Eden river and valley await you. Murphy is sweet and friendly dog. He enjoys a good long walk, but also really loves his sleep! We woke up hours before him and needed to convince him to come walk with us :) but once he is out he is happy to walk as much as you'd like and is very friendly to humans and other dogs. Hannah was generous and helpful in anything we needed and it was just a perfect sit. Highly recommended
I had the pleasure of housesitting for Ernie and Britt and taking care of his adorable dogs, Cleo and Parker. Cleo, the sweet senior dog, immediately won my heart with her motherly nature. She would come up to me, look me in the eyes, and shower me with affectionate gestures when I petted her. Parker, on the other hand, was a bundle of energy and playfulness. He loved belly rubs and followed me around wherever I went. Their morning kisses and hugs were the perfect way to start each day. Ernie was an exceptional communicator and made sure I had all the information I needed. He went the extra mile by sending me photos of dog food recipes in advance, which was incredibly helpful. His instructions were detailed, ensuring that I knew everything required to make the dogs comfortable and happy. Ernie's accommodating nature truly made my stay enjoyable. The house was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. The living room was cozy, the sunroom provided a serene retreat, and the outdoor space was perfect for enjoying some fresh air. The charming and quiet neighborhood added to the overall appeal, with convenient amenities within walking distance. Sprouts, a hip coffee shop, and a frozen yogurt place were just a few examples of the nearby attractions. If you ever get the chance to housesit for Ernie and Britt and spend time with these lovable dogs, I highly recommend it.
