Dog Sitters in Kent Point Farm, MD

Christine and Phil are amazing house sitters. I would highly recommend them and invite them to stay anytime. I came home to a happy kitty and a clean home. I was gone a week and couldn’t tell anyone had even been in my house it was so clean. Christine and Phil are super respectful, organized, and most important, took great care of Nugget sending me photos throughout my trip. Please come back anytime.

Laurie, her daughter Ellie, and her husband Bryan were all involved in looking after my house and my dog Juno. Juno can be challenging the first day of a sit because of separation distress and a tendency to be skittish with new people. Laurie and her family handled all this in stride and by the end of the sit, she reported that Juno was enjoying her walks and playing with Ellie. Thank you Laurie, Ellie, and Bryan for your patience and care in looking after my shy little dog and my home.

Tim and Jeannene did a fantastic job for us. They happened to be in our area well before our sit, so they came by to get to know us and the fur babies in advance. They were very communicative before and during the stay, which was awesome. We were on a cruise so we had no text or cell service, but they both sent updates via email - even including some pictures. Our dog loved getting his walks every day, and Whiskey (the dog) and the cats were very happy and well adjusted when we got home. The house was so tidy when we returned and not having to make the bed after a long trip home was icing on the cake. I would 1000% recommend them for a sit, and I would 1000% have them back to sit for us in the future.

Mary and Arthur and the fam came early to meet me and do a walkthrough. They asked good questions, were very communicative and left the house in great shape. Would love to have them again!

Pros: Brandi was a very nice person. I came home to my kitty and she was all good. She was flexible with her dates. Cons: Brandi stated she left August 11th but the video shows her leaving on the 10th, so she was dishonest. She mention my cat food having bugs in them so she threw out a whole half bag of hard food. My apartment is kept very tidy, theee only reason flies come out is if fruit is left out and she must have left food or something out that attracted the bugs. We originally discussed her only house sitting a month so she could allow client's from peer space in the apartment and sell off or receive furniture. I was lucky enough that she agreed to sit for meadow as well. My gut told me to hold off on peer space because I was getting good cell service at my silent retreat. I'm so so so so glad I did after seeing how she left my apartment floors and bathroom. She would of had to clean up after each peer space and I feel clients would have not been happy with the cleanliness. I don't even have living room furniture yet, just boxes so it should have been a breeze to sweep, vacuum, mop. There's plenty of cleaning rags and cleaners. I have white floors and she must have used dirty mop water all throughout the floor. Dirty streaks and foot prints all over the floor. She left the dirty mop water with the mop in it right in the living room. When mopping a bug place like mine you at least need to change the water four to six times. There was cereal left out and open. Cat food was left open on the counter. Water bowl didn't look clean, full of fur on top. Cereal crumbs on the floor. Coffee bean sprinkles on the cabinets. I usually leave my dishwasher cracked. She must have closed it shut and never opened it ever....because four wooden pieces inside molded over. It was full of clean dishes, pots, pans, utensils, etc. Her hair products on the sink. Empty raw sugar box left in cabinet. Bathroom: sink was sticky, toilet had poop stains (smh I had to clean), and my precious bath tub was filthy. There was black specks in it and I had to wash it four times at least before soaking. I looked forward to coming home and relaxing but I cleaned 3-4 hours. I didn't except her to leave it immaculate however this was more than just touching up for me. There were multiple finger and hand prints on the walls from make up and whatever else was on her hands. This was in my hallway, bedroom, and bathroom. Bedroom: bedroom was ok, some cereal crumbs on the bed and under but nothing major. The bedding was left in the dryer, which was ok but it smelled odd so I re washed it. Two weeks in and she sent a few photos but definitely not daily. Also, two weeks in I became pretty sick and needed to come home to go to the doctor for a few days. I offered to sleep in the living room but her dad lived close by so I guess she said shed make other arrangements so she would have gone there possibly. A day later she requested to end the stay early, which was fine yet very inconvenient. I ended up going to emergency room upstate. She was patient with me and I decided not to travel back home while sick so we agreed on the 11th. She kept mentioning that I could come back earlier if I wanted to. I guess maybe the train sound got to her. I had a feeling she left early, but the video confirmed it. Not sure why she would think that I wouldn't verify. The cameras are visible outside my door.

Whitney & John were great sitters for our pets and home! They picked up a long sit with us on semi-short notice for their first sit on zeewoi, and everything went so smoothly. Whitney is a clear communicator and came out a day early to meet us and our pets. We were many time zones away while traveling, so communication got tricky once we left, but we got pictures and updates when we could, and Whitney & John were very self-sufficient. Our pets were content and relaxed when we returned, and our home was tidy. Zora, our dog, got to go on different adventures, and they even dealt with an impromptu mud soak with a river wash (her favorite). We recommend this couple as reliable sitters and good humans, and hope that we will cross path again in the future!

Tori was an amazing sitter for our dog and our home. They were super communicative before and during the sit. Even when we had a last minute change to our plans, they rolled with the change and were very flexible as we worked out a new plan. Throughout the sit, Tori sent photo & text updates on our beloved dog which we looked forward to everyday and we got the sense they really bonded, which made us feel so much better about being gone! Tori also has a lot of dog experience, which was clear in the kinds of updates that they sent us. Tori also left the house in just as clean shape as they arrived and were clearly very respectful of our space and our shared building. 100% recommend!

Alex was the perfect dog sitter/ house sitter we could have asked for! She was very responsive, kept us updated on our dog while sending pics throughout the trip. She walked our dog often, played with her and cared for her. When we returned, we returned to a super clean house and a very happy dog. My husband and I would totally recommend Alex as a house/ dog sitter.

Patty was wonderful! She cared so well for Alia, sent photos and regular updates, and is frankly just a joy to be around and work with. I am grateful to have had the chance to connect with her. Patty, if you ever want to return to Asheville please let me know!

Elissa and Nick were wonderful! Our pets were comfortable with them right away. They kept us posted with daily messages and pictures. We felt at ease leaving our furry kids in their care. The place was spotless upon our return, with clean sheets, towels, dishes done, and happy pets. We highly recommend Elissa and Nick and welcome them back any time.

We didn't end up crossing paths much, but found Michelle pleasant and capable of overseeing house and dog care.
